Thai Iced Tea
Gabe Y.

We're excited to eat the pad Thai (shrimp and chicken) , panang curry (chicken), the satay chicken! Some notes from the experience: This place is nice, cozy, and quiet. A little too quiet. In our hour and half that we were here, we were the only guests. I think this place may close soon. It doesn't seem like they upsell you as much as before and leave you mostly alone through your meal. In terms of the food, the satay chicken was wonderful. I think they used baking soda to tenderize this meat. It was nice and tender and we love the cucumbers. The pad Thai came with 3 shrimps which isn't bad! The amount of noodles is easily for 2-3 meals for 2 people. On the other hand, the panang curry was unremarkable. I did not enjoy the frozen carrots and green beans added. This would benefit from fresh veggies but perhaps they can't justify the cost with the slow business. I think this place is really great for a quiet date night together and would encourage people to try their satay chicken.

Great food!! Food was served quickly and the staff were nice, will definitely come back :)

Satay Chicken was extremely soft and good tasting and came with a really good peanut sauce and cucumber

Really good chicken satay that was super soft and not overcooked! Peanut sauce was good and service was quick!

Delicious!! We love coming for their lunch special, it's a great deal. Entree comes with an egg roll, salad, and soup. Highly recommend!

Cool local Thai place, fast service and good tasting food. I always get the classic Pad Thai and Yellow Curry.

Siam Roll
John L.

Note: The food I received was ordered through the Door Dash app. I was craving Tom Yum Soup with chicken and something crunchy as a side. Tom Yum Soup was a major disappointment. For something crunchy I ordered the Siam Roll. Their egg roll basically and it was very good. I give them another shot, but make sure to be at the restaurant instead of ordering on Door Dash.

Arrived around 630 pm on a week night. Place was not crowded. Took awhile to be seated and saw 2-3 staff working. Ordered couple dishes. Food tasted good.

Everything is amazing!! We've come a few times for their lunch specials and it's always been great. The lunch special comes with an egg roll and soup. Both are delicious. My favorite is the garlic fish entree!

The attitude of the staff, the way that they interact with the patrons is what was lacking the past couple of years. The difference in charcuterie boards is like difference between eating at McDonald's compared to now eating at Alexanders. I had an old fashion and it's now my favorite. Each time I have been in I have run into regulars that stopped coming here and are now hearing about the changes. Check them out.

From what we understood, they're currently transitioning to a new name with new ownership, new management, and an entirely new staff. We decided to give it a try, but unfortunately we were really disappointed. Maybe some of it can be blamed on the transition, but it just doesn't feel like the same local neighborhood spot anymore. A lot of the food and the things we used to love on the menu are gone. They no longer have 20 beers on tap, and the wine selection is much smaller than it used to be. And to top it all off NO MORE TRIVIA! So now we officially have to find a new trivia spot. The service was also disappointing. Everything took a really long time, and they kept forgetting things we had asked for. The new bartender's drinks were not good either, which was surprising because this used to be such a great place to grab a drink, some food, and just hang out. The overall vibe is completely different. We didn't feel very welcomed, and it definitely doesn't have that same warm, family friendly atmosphere anymore where you could bring the kids and hang out. But honestly, the most devastating part for me... NO MORE PRETZELS AND NO MORE TRUFFLE POPCORN!!! Those were literally two of the best things on the menu. It's really sad to see a local spot we enjoyed change so much. Maybe things will improve once they get through the transition, but based on our experience, we won't be coming back or supporting the new concept looks like they are aiming for a young crowd.

Beautiful Night of Wine, Good Company & Halloween Festivities!…read more Saturday night at this wine bar in Campbell was such a lovely experience! It was one of those nights where you go out, enjoy a good glass of wine, and end up having wonderful conversations with people you've never met before. A special shout-out to our bartender, Chaz, who was absolutely wonderful! He was attentive, helpful, and so easy to talk to. His recommendations for the wine flight were excellent, and he was kind enough to let us sample a few other drinks as well. We ended up ordering some white wine, too, which I unfortunately forgot to capture in a photo because, I was enjoying the evening a little too much... I also want to give a shout-out to the other bartender working that night. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, but he had ginger hair and was equally kind and welcoming. Both bartenders contributed to our great experience, and their hospitality really stood out. The owner also stopped by to check in with us near closing, which was such a nice touch! He was incredibly friendly and mentioned that they had an exciting event planned for Halloween. I love when business owners take the time to connect with their guests and make everyone feel welcome. One of the highlights of the evening was getting to enjoy the annual Halloween dance performance! It was a fun, festive surprise and a beautiful way to end the night. I've attached videos of the performance because it really added something special to the atmosphere. Beyond the wine and entertainment, I enjoyed the opportunity to socialize and chat with folks there. The whole evening felt lively and welcoming. If you're in the Campbell area, looking for somewhere to enjoy a wine flight, meet new people, or geting out of the house for a fun night, I highly recommend stopping by! And if you haven't made Halloween plans yet, keep an eye out for their upcoming event. Based on the experience we had, it sounds like it could be a great time! Great wine, lovely people, thoughtful service, and a festive atmosphere. A beautiful night! =)

The space is beautiful -- very stylish, modern, and thoughtfully decorated. The moment you walk in, it feels like you've stepped into a completely different world. The ambiance is really special. The food was excellent overall and definitely had that European/French influence they describe. One of our favorite dishes was the mushroom and potato pancake-style dish, which was rich, comforting, and delicious. We also had the chicken liver, which came with warm toasted madeleines, and the combination of sweet and savory was surprisingly wonderful. We also ordered the pork and the squid ink scallops, and both were very good. The one dish we did not enjoy was the oysters. They came with a tomato-flavored shaved ice/granita topping that was so cold it actually made our mouths hurt, and we could barely taste the oysters underneath it. That one was not for us. Our server was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the dishes, but I do think there was too much upselling. We had already ordered several starters and told him we wanted to wait before deciding how many entrées to order. He strongly encouraged us to order two entrées right away because he felt we would still be hungry. We followed his recommendation, but by the time we finished the earlier courses, we were completely full and ended up taking most of the entrées home. I think when customers say they would prefer to start with a few dishes and order more later, that choice should be respected. We could always have ordered additional food, whereas in this case we ended up overspending, taking food home, and having no room for dessert. That said, we still had a wonderful evening and really enjoyed the restaurant. The food is creative, the atmosphere is beautiful, and it feels like a great place for a special occasion. It is definitely on the pricier side -- our dinner for two with two drinks, several starters, and two entrées came to just over $200. Overall, I'd give it about an 8/10 and would definitely return, especially for a special night out.

Note, when most people think Los Gatos, they think downtown, however this restaurant is on the edge of Los Gatos/San Jose. But don't let that deter you, the interior of the restaurant felt trendy and on par. Since this was our first time here and we're not too familiar with Eastern European dishes, we opted for the chef's menu and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing and the presentation was even better. Everything felt very fresh. The egg and the macaron bites are so unique, I would definitely recommend giving them a try. Service was impeccable, I don't think our water glasses ever got even halfway empty before they were refilled. Our server explained the menu and food/wine extremely well. With 10 items on the chef's menu, the portions were perfect. I actually appreciate a menu with more items and smaller portions, allowing you to taste more without feeling too full to eat the last few dishes. One of us has a tree nut allergy and they were able to accommodate them with no problems at all. Something to note, the chef's menu was pretty seafood heavy, which I love, but it might not be for everyone. I did overhear the table next to us sing praises of the short rib, so I will definitely be back to give that a try!

I found this hidden gem in Los Gatos, and I'm so glad I did! It was my first time here, and OMG,…read morethe food was SO good. First, the place itself is really cute. I loved the decor and the ambiance, it felt intimate, cozy, and almost like being somewhere in Türkiye or the Mediterranean. Such a nice atmosphere for dinner. We started with the tzatziki, and I could honestly have kept eating it all night. It was creamy from the Greek yogurt, fresh, slightly citrusy, and so flavorful. The bread that came with it was warm and crispy, and together they were the perfect combination. To share, we ordered the moussaka (vegetarian), and it was delicious. It was rich, creamy, comforting, and full of flavor. I really enjoyed the different textures and layers, definitely one of those dishes where you keep going back for another bite. We also tried the Incik (Lamb Shank), and this was another highlight. The lamb was incredibly tender and flavorful, with a delicious tomate based sauce on top. But what really surprised us was the keşkek underneath. At first, we couldn't figure out what it was, we were wondering if it was some kind of mashed potato , but it had this creamy, thick texture that paired SO well with the lamb. I had never tried keşkek before, and wow... absolutely worth trying! The food was definitely on point this night. Service was good, the atmosphere was beautiful, and everything felt authentic and made with care. We're definitely coming back because there are so many other dishes on the menu I want to try. Such a great find in Los Gatos!

Usually, my husband and I aren't big on Mediterranean food since the few place we went were okay; not bad, but It wasn't something I would go out of my way for or crave. This place, we all agree it was really good. The food was flavorful, the hummus was good. I'm not sure if the bread was homemade, but we've never seen one that flat and delicious that my kid enjoyed just eating the bread without the hummus. It's hard to get my little one to eat a decent amount of food that isn't pizza, fries, chicken nuggets, so seeing her eat a lot of the bread and chicken was a suprise. That's definitely a win right there! My friend got lamb and, suprisingly, it didn't smell gamey and i'm usually very sensitive to the gamey smell. The food didn't make us feel gross or bloated and we got chai! Thr mimosas were in the works, but we still enjoyed it. It's pretty hot, so don't be an idiot like me and drink it right away. The workers..owners? management? Well, the people there are super nice and were very attentive. It still have the same vibe as the original epicure. The things my family and I agree upon that could be beneficial is some of the items on the menu may need a description or information what is on it. We had to ask what a few of them are. The other one was i think when a dish is brought out and it's incomplete, maybe mention/reassure that the other item is coming out soon or maybe bring it out all at the same time when it's ready. For example: they brought out the hummus, but we didn't the bread. We were staring at the hummus like a bunch of oddball wondering "is there bread? how do we eat it? Did they forget it?" Eventually it was brought out but it took a bit of time. Overall, really good, i probably would go back since we all enjoyed it.

We were waiting with a crying baby for full 15 minutes before we were given a seat, even though we had reserved the place. The owner seemed to have a difficult time locating the reservation - don't know whether its because they are understaffed or they simply don't like clientele with infants. Also the tables were not clean, and the seats were stained. Then finally the food came. No free bread, which is expected at most Tapas/Spanish places. Most of the tapas was exceedingly oily or overfried. The paella was ok, but the amount of chicken in "chicken paella" was paltry. Not particularly good when we have dined tapas in Barcelona/Girona and also elsewhere in the US. Sorry to say, just dressing up as Spanish and explaining to us what tapas means does not count for good service. Finally, the nasty surprise came. They had charged 20% gratuity for a party of 6 although we had a infant who was barely involved and was not even having a separate seat. I would have even paid for it willingly, if the service was half as good. After all this, the owner asked me how the food was and was surprised when I said the tapas were pretty average. I feel like they need to go for a trip back to Spain and taste how the food feels like there and also get some education on nice service. Also, not to mention, there was a surcharge like "merchant fee". Needless to mention, we won't be going back there anytime soon.
