Although the ring itself was gorgeous and exactly as described, I ultimately decided to return it as the stone size didn't quite look right next to my existing collection. They sell BEAUTIFUL and very high quality Estate jewelry (I believe all their jewelry is Estate jewelry, as I always want my reviews to be 100% accurate). I have bought 5 pieces' of stunning jewelry from them in the past 5 years' and amazingly, have never been to their actual jewelry business located in Bellevue WA yet. EraGem does such an EXCELLENT job at presenting and showing their wonderful jewelry selections, that it is the ONLY jewelry store I have ever felt confident enough to shop at online, versus going there in person. When you do purchase jewelry from them, they couldn't make it easier or more convenient: they arrange to have it mailed (usually the next business day via Fedex priority, and to make sure you get your jewelry securely, they send it with "signature required" so you can always feel 100% confident YOU! the purchaser, will get it safely). EraGem also wraps and ships (via Fedex priority) every jewelry piece you buy so well, it takes me a while to open the Fedex packaging (it's like Fort Knox, ha) but that is a very good thing, b/c your jewelry is guaranteed to arrive in perfect condition, which has always been the case with all (5) pieces I've bought so far. They guarantee and insure every piece, and provide a 100% refund, if you're not fully happy and satisfied with what you bought. How much better can you get than that?? One final example of how Great this business is: one of the pieces I bought from EraGem were beautiful estate opal pierced earrings - they are simple but exquisite, and I absolutely love them. On a recent trip we took to the Caribbean, I was heartbroken b/c one of the opals in one of my earrings somehow came out, and I wasn't aware of it until I was on the plane coming back home. Amazingly, EraGem had me ship my opal earrings back, and they were able to replicate almost identical opal stones in BOTH earrings, so they matched and were identical, and didn't charge me 1 cent for this FABULOUS service! I don't know where else you'd find this kind of incredible customer service and expertise and unbelievable attention to detail and excellence. Oh, I forgot to mention, their PRICES are the BEST of all! Era Gem truly is as good as it gets. I was searching for an engagement ring for my girlfriend who loves vintage jewelry when I came across the Era Gem website. He offered a fair price for outstanding jewelry. Originally I charted 11 stores that would buy our precious jewelry. After looking them over on yelp and elsewhere on the Internet we focused on 5 stores to drive around for a price quote in one day. Quite happy with my experience. I was able to purchase a one of a kind/unique vintage engagement ring which I knew my girlfriend would prefer to a new edgy cut modern ring. The ring I wanted was a bit pricey, but they helped me out with a down payment and allowing me to pay the remainder a bit later and not lose out on the ring. They were very accommodating in letting me pick up the ring after hours, and provided good customer service. There are allowing us to re-size the ring with them complimentary which is a very nice touch. Beyond all this, the ring was a big hit.
