Amazing job! I had a pendant that I wanted to put on a Tiffany chain but the pendant eyelit was too small for me to just string the chain through. I called multiple repair places who all had a 3 week wait but d'Original Jewelers said they could do it while I wait. David (the owner) did it in about 5-10 minutes and the attention to detail is amazing! He cut the ring of the clasp, strung the pendant onto the chain, and soldered the clasp loop back together. I had purchased a silver cross in Israel but the snake chain was too short for my needs. I had been to another jeweler who said the only thing they could do was to replace the whole chain for $300. d'Original Jewelers were willing to add an additional chain so that I can adjust the length depending on the neckline of my outfit. Absolutely incredible people. I went in today, to get my Grammy's wedding ring appraised for insurance, and fit to my finger. She gave it to me when we said our goodbyes, but she passed away just yesterday, so I thought I better get this heirloom insured ASAP. Other jewelers I had called wanted me to leave my ring with them for a week, which made me very uncomfortable. David and Rudy made me feel instantly that they were human, and not just snooty jewelers. I could tell they knew their stuff and were very trustworthy, but also just so personable. The customer service here is excellent. I first went in more than 2 years ago when i needed to find someone to make a custom wedding band for my engagement ring. Before i had only found recommendations to make a separate band, which was going to cost alot. David said we could make a smaller band that attaches to my engagement ring, and attaches to either side of my ring. Yah, it's kind of hard to imagine, ill just say it made wearing it easier, and the ring cheaper. Because it was a custom job i have no idea if I got a good price or not. I just know that everyone was really nice and helpful. So when i had a piece of jewelry i wanted to have cleaned up and appraised to sell, i went back there. And 2 years later I get a call that they had been looking through their safe and found my jewelry that i never came back to pick up. I'm really impressed that they held onto it and contacted me after so long (as well as understanding how people could leave their jewelry unclaimed for 2 years). So excited! Highly recommended! I have come to them with 2 rings and am pleased with the outcome of both. Ring 1 was a setting I had purchased on eBay and it was missing the stones. I brought in a ring with a bunch of 1-point diamonds, this setting, and an idea. After talking with David, he looked at the stones I had, suggested the size of the main diamonds that I should buy and how they would work in the setting I had. I pulled the trigger and gave him my project. The turn around time was fantastic. And the finished result was even more fantastic. His expertise kept this ring looking vintage and delicate. So happy! Ring 2 was a little more personal and easy, but no less important. When my grandmother passed in 1995, I was given a ring that I had worn every day since I got it... until I could no longer wear about 2 years ago it because it was too small. I was squeezing it on for the last few years, but wanted to return to everyday wear. I took it in, happy to be able to go to d'Original again. I was sized and quoted an EXTREMELY REASONABLE price for size up. When they called and said it was ready I almost cried. This ring is so important since it is a daily reminder of my gone but not forgotten grandparents. I have been meaning to write this review for a long time. I've had the pleasure of working with this small store and their employees to get my fiancee her ring. This location is cozily tucked away a block from the much larger Bellevue mall. It is staffed by a few employees and appointments are preferred if you are visiting. The service is top-notch. All of the employees are masters at their craft and know everything and then some you would ever want to know about jewelry. In my case, I was getting a sapphire stone for the centerpiece of the engagement ring. The staff (David in particular) took the time to make sure that I had the right options (size, cut, budget) to choose from. If you are ordering a custom ring this location has the skills to do the work in house - something that is rare at shops now days. They also provide you with an appraisal and will clean your ring any time you stop in (at no cost). Besides rings, they have a wide selection of other jewelry pieces (I didn't ask about them). We've returned to the location for the wedding band and received similar high quality service and support. I brought my great grandmother's ring here to be remade. I had checked with three other jewelers and the cost to remake it varied from $1250 - $3500. I received recommendations to make it out of white gold, refurbish the platinum, and remake it entirely in platinum. Feeling like goldilocks, I found d'original jewelers to be just right. This place is awesome! It's a small store with a relaxed atmosphere and they carry very unique pieces, including one of a kind items from specific designers. The beautiful thing about the one of a kind items is that since David can't modify them aside from the size and they can't be reordered, he is flexible with the prices. So not only is the jewelry beautiful and unique, it is also reasonably priced. We brought in an antique European diamond that belonged to my fiance's great grandmother, hoping to find a unique setting as special as the diamond itself. Victoria was very friendly and only showed me pieces in the same style as the example photos I brought in. She was a great listener, easy going, not pushy, and even called David up to ask about coming down on the price of my favorite ring. This place is amazing!! Victoria and David are so sweet and nice! My girlfriend and I just got engaged and we called looking to come in for a sizing last minute. They were able to get us in as early as an hour after we called. Their store is a quaint, charming little place and it is family owned. When we arrived and went inside we were greeted by Victoria and David who introduced themselves and seemed to be interested in us and didn't just get to business which was greatly appreciated. After showing them the ring, they told us a little bit about the ring itself and told us exactly how the process works for sizing and also the process for repolishing the white gold band. They were very informative and made us feel good about having our ring done with them. David was very quick and efficient in getting my ring done. They also told us we can wait inside the shop with them or go grab a coffee and walk around the shops around the corner. They even gave us directions to get to the coffee shop. When we came back they made sure we were satisfied with the ring. The total cost was very affordable as well. We were so happy with this place and we would highly recommend it to any couple!!
