Can't say enough about M.A.H. Dr. Robinson has been seeing Jack since April, and he is awesome. He…read moreclearly LOVES animals, very patient with all of my question-asking (this is my first dog), and extremely knowledgeable. In fact the entire staff is great. His office visits are not expensive, and he often has samples of heart worm meds, etc. He saved me about $50.00 in this medication alone to date. And, he has been there forever. Years. This is important to me, as I got so many word-of-mouth references from friends and neighbors. The exam rooms are clean, and the entire office is tidy and kept up well. Jack was neutered this past Monday... he was sent home with some puppy vicodin, and of course a fashionable cone for his little head. The incision looked good from day one. Hardly any swelling/bruising, and he was stitched up in a perfect straight line. Not that he would notice, but I was impressed by the care and patience taken with this. The nurses didn't want to give him back to me when I picked him up later that day... they LOVED him. He's back to his old self already, and one of the nurses called to see how my lil guy is doing! In the past my cat was a patient at Millis Animal Hospital located in the next town over. Over time I grew a little uneasy since every time I'd bring Cleo in there would be a new vet... a new nurse... a new receptionist... the turnover was a ton...

Oh, his heart is slightly enlarged." $700+ Fast-forward a week at specialty doc. "Nothing in his belly." $1.3k "But we recommend an echocardiogram." Scheduled. Another 1k. "He has a MASSIVE tumor on his heart." One week later, he is gone. 1k to put him to sleep. So today I had to bring my senior kitty, 17.5 years old. Needed a thyroid level check and BP check. $500. HUH? Oh, the doctor decided to do an XYZ blahblahblah test. Oh, really? Did anyone come and ASK ME? Nope! Absolutely OUTRAGEOUS. Doc wouldn't come out to speak to me, but sent Miss NonBinary, who proceeded to tell me THEY are the experts and THEY know this, that and the other. But did they consult me? NOPE! Just give us your money because we decided to do these tests and we are the experts. AND we will not give you refills on your pet's medicine anymore. Oh, really... Well, let me apologize to the young woman checking me out, because I am sure she will have nightmares about me tonight. I told them straight up how absolutely disgusting they are for trying to pull that shit. As an aside, while I was waiting, an older gentleman came in trying to return prescription shampoo. Bottle still sealed. "Someone put this in my bag but I don't want it. I want to return it." Oh... you can't do that, sir. They wouldn't take it back. Gave him a hard time. Apparently this is a theme with them. They'll be sending me my records. Good. Doing me a favor. Not only are they absolutely scumbag sneaky thieves, they are grossly incompetent. STAY AWAY.

You tell me that not only are you going to perform an entire exam*,do blood work*, perform unnecessary painful x-rays*, and who knows what else you're doing or NOT doing because I am not there with her, but you will absolutely not allow me to come in to hold her while you euthanize her.....ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME??????!!!!!!! She is my daughter and there is no reason for you to do any thing other than let these poor babies have their last moments in the hands of their loved ones!!! I went directly to Franklin and I had absolutely no issue with going in and holding my baby the entire time and staying with her for I don't know how long. It was so difficult to leave her. You are supposed to UNDERSTAND that they are our FAMILY MEMBERS!! Where the heck is the compassion and empathy for the loss of a family member? Dr. Sandler is rude and extremely mean towards the animals and I have on several occasions heard her screaming at the dogs in the kennels to "shut up" like that's going to make a difference. Then she will go in and kick the cages. She is rough with the animals. Dr. Susan Adams-Conley, I'm afraid that you're going to lose your business if you don't replace that nasty woman!!! I can not recommend anyone who is looking for a veterinarian to go to you for the reasons I mentioned above. Your facility also is in desperate need of a major makeover. I have always had a really great experience with Dr. Adams-Conley. I also have to say that your prices are actually really high compared to what the other veterinarians are charging. *All you want is MONEY!!

My 16 year old cat had several chronic conditions and had been throwing up every seventy two hours…read morefor 9 months. My vet was not cooperative and I seemed to have to justify the decision to put my cat down to her when she could not give me options for treatment or even a diagnosis. Frustrated, I called Lap of Love. They were such a relief. The first time I called the woman who answered was very kind and compassionate. But I chickened out and didn't actually make an appointment. My cat then had a scary incident that made me convinced that I had to do this and I called back. The man who answered was great and got me an appointment within 3 days. I didn't have to justify the decision. I didn't have to get records and PROVE I had a basis for the decision. They did ask for the cat's vet but I am unsure if they called them. I am a little different and I did not want to be around during the procedure. My cat is not the type to be comforted by me. I worried that might be a problem. But it wasn't. The doctor called me before the appointment and told me she was coming and she was on time (very important when you have spent three days just trying to keep your nerve) and kind. I was allowed to step out of my home (I had worried she might tell me I couldn't do that due to liability issues of leaving her alone in the house) and she came and got me when done. She left me a paw print cast of my cat and a locke of hair. Thank god for this service. No one wants to do this but it was a relief not to have to fight for the service when you are using all your strength and backbone to make the decision in the first place.
