Highly unprofessional. Poor fabric quality; I purchased a panel, and in person it turned out to be cut unevenly, semi-transparent (NOT the look I was going for) and unusually scratchy. I placed an internet order for a batting kit which indicated it was in stock. When I went to pick it up, they informed me that the kit was out of stock but they could cut the batting from a bolt. However, after I got the batting, they had charged me the rate for bolt cut, which was more than the kit was priced. When I asked them about it, they simply said, "well, that's the price off the bolt." Since they offered to substitute, I "assumed" it would be the same price as the kit I had ordered. Treating your customers right makes a big difference in whether they will be repeat customers. My first, and only, experience, will not bring me back. read more

I was very disappointed! I had a special project I needed to finish and ordered fabric and paid $59.00 for UPS next day air on an order of just over $120.00 (yeah, dumb me, right, but I needed to get the item out over the weekend) only to find out that that didn't include Saturday delivery! There was no mention of this on the website anywhere, so when I called UPS at the end of the day they let me know I could not get it until Monday. The Equilter rep on Monday let me know it was all MY fault. $60.00 doesn't get you Saturday delivery? And three of the items were cut so off grain at least four inches of the half yard cuts were wasted. I've quilted and ordered online for years. I'll skip this site, for sure. read more

Recently, over a holiday weekend, I ordered too little of a specific fabric I needed. I sent an e-mail asking if they could update the quantity. Superior quality fabric at expected current prices. Their sales are a great time to stock up if you're on a budget but still want gorgeous prints. Like most places, they favor some designers and don't stock others at all. Their website is streamlined to help you order lots of fabric :-), and I've yet to encounter website crashes during the busy holidays as with some other sites. My only quibble, contrary to the other reviewer, is that shipping is ridiculously slow. Without fail, several orders have sat at the Colorado UPS distribution center for up to eight days (and counting) with no scans. I travel a lot, and its important to know when a pricy parcel might arrive at my door. Considering their volume, it seems like they could negotiate better UPS service for their customers. Except for this minor quibble, this is a fabulous place to shop, with plenty of eye-candy. The owners contribute to charities around the world, so your money is well-spent. read more
