Our floor turned out great so for that, they would get 5 stars. However, both days the crews were late showing up and the second day they switched us from the morning to afternoon without letting us know, which meant we spent a lot of time waiting around for them. The installers also left without letting us know, which made it more difficult to pay them. We made it work, hopefully the mid-communications were a fluke because the project is great. read more

Had my garage floor done last week. Warren, Wendy and the crew were very friendly, helpful and accommodating of our schedule. Very personable company and they do a great job. The project was completed on time, on budget and the floor looks amazing! I shopped around a little bit and I definitely recommend this company. Unfortunately, the day of the install, we discovered we have termites. I'm hoping the pest guys don't totally destroy the new floor. Ugh! Tip: check for issues (i.e. termites) and take care of them prior to the install. the fumes from the install are strong, keep area well ventilated for a couple days. **This is an update to my original post. After having the floor a few months I have learned a few things and unfortunately I have to take away one star. However, if you heed to my notes you should have a 5star experience with these guys. 1) If your stem wall is rough they can still epoxy and flake it, they just can't sand it or scrap it. My crew said they couldn't do it at all, but if you get the right crew they will do it. I had to pay someone else to do it after the fact, which kind of sucks. 2) Make sure you request the epoxy to stop at the garage door. This will help keep a barrier between the outside and inside. Otherwise when it rains it's a lot easier for water to run under your garage door. I learned this the hard way. The crew should have advised me on this. I'm not sure what I am going to do now as we get a pond in the garage every time it rains. read more

With Yelp's guidance, we located this company and called in for an estimate. Our first point of contact was Warren. We were quoted $3060 for a 720 square foot garage floor. Not too bad, right off the bat! We also contacted a different, yet referred unnamed company in the Bay Area, who quoted us an insane number for the same job. Once we read through EAS' reviews, we were impressed- all prior to even visiting their website. EAS has a great variety of colors, types, etc.- all for the consumer to choose to their liking. Warren helped in our decision of color based on their best sellers. We chose Granite, and we love it! The job was booked for the following week, and it was completed within the promised time frame of two days. It took longer for the materials to settle and harden than it did the professional gentlemen to complete their tasks. I failed to get their names, but the two gentlemen who worked on our garage floors arrived on time each day (despite having to commute to us in Brentwood from El Dorado Hills), clean, funny, and were very knowledgeable when answering our mundane questions. The photos I've uploaded really speak for themselves. Of all the professional home remodeling service personnel who see or walk through our garage are taken back with how perfect our new floors look and feel. As a matter of fact, one contractor was impressed so much that he asked of details about the company (EAS) before we even got a chance to spread the word ourselves. If I had to come up with a negative, the only thing I could've done without was the strong smell after the completion of said floors. But hey, that's nothing an open garage door (as long as there is no direct sunlight exposure) can't fix for a couple hours! read more

Wendy and Warren were extremely helpful at every step of the way during the planning and refinishing of my garage floor! They have wonderful communication skills and great follow-through. The guys who did the work--Thomas and Tui (spelling?) were real artists. They were cheerful and extremely hard-working even though the project took an extra day and the temperatures were triple-digit. The floor had industrial carpeting glued onto cracked cement. It was a former music studio, and I intend to use it as a ceramic studio. We had no idea HOW cracked it was until the carpet was pulled up. It was bad, and there was adhesive everywhere. Company does a fabulous quality job. The installers we had, Craig and Bill, were great and certainly experts. They knew what they were doing, were very meticulous, and the floor looks impeccable. The only issue for me was the chemical smell for about a day or so. It dissipated fairly fast but, for someone who is sensitive to scents, it would've been nice to be prepared to deal with that part of the installation. I Contacted We're Organized Garage Cabinetry in Folsom in February 2014 to install custom cabinets and asked for a referral for epoxy flooring and was given Epoxy Armor Systems as their preferred vendor. Was very satisfied with the work done by both vendors at the time of install just like the reviews posted here. Now 5 years in my epoxy floor is yellowing near the front garage door and side access door. I never leave my garage door open except to come and go, same for the side door which faces north and never has direct sun light. My garage is super clean and I've taken great care of the floors. Their website says "Garage Floors Guaranteed to Last a Lifetime" and on their FAQ page they state "we stand behind our floors with a limited lifetime warranty." So I called Epoxy Armor Systems to speak to someone about the yellowing of the flooring to discuss how they might help me. I was connected with Warren the owner. After telling Warren about my problem he quickly told me "we don't use that type of product anymore because of the very problem you're having..." aka your lifetime warranty is void because we don't warranty the product we no longer us because it yellows. Great. He did not seem in the least bit interested in backing up the "lifetime guarantee" and when I asked him point blank "how are you going to help me?" he said "I will have my rep Shawn call you." I am still waiting. I guess "lifetime" means something entirely different to Epoxy Armour Systems than what you and i would interpret those words to mean. Thousands of dollars spent on a "lifetime" floor that lasted just over 5 years that has been impeccably maintained and is now changing colors. I would be very careful using Epoxy Armour Systems Flooring and if you have any issues like I am having you're likely going to be out of pocket to fix it and out of luck in getting this company to honor their false promises. The crew from Epoxy Armor Systems just left my house. The new garage floor is finished. It is beautiful. Thomas and Scott did an outstanding job. I have wanted to do an epoxy floor for years, but was never able to find a product or company that had great reviews, experience and was economically reasonable. My son-in-law found this company and several weeks ago had them do the garage floor of his new home in Woodland, Ca. A large three car garage. It turned out beautifully. He choose Granite. Because of his total satisfaction with the crew, the product and the results, I called Warren and talked to him about doing my floor. Warren was extremely helpful in explaining the entire installation, product warranty and the benefits of the epoxy floor. I sent him pictures of my garage and overall square footage. In a very short time I was emailed a cost estimate that was extremely reasonable. I agreed and the job was scheduled for the first of December. That first day, Thomas and Scott, Warrens 2 man crew, arrived right on time as scheduled. They look over my garage and made a few suggestions on removing one cabinet that hindered them from being able to epoxy under it. Everything else was ready for them to start. I had cleared everything out for them prior to their arrival. First thing they do is get on their hands and knees and hand grind the entire 3 car garage floor. Now my garage has existing floor to ceiling cabinets on two walls. Work bench and a large collection of antique toys around the entire ceiling on shelfs. . No dust was created that would settle on my collections. Those hand grinders are connected to large commercial vacuums. No dust. Yea!! This grinding gives the concrete the ability to grab and hold that epoxy material. Much better than using acid and water. When they were finished the floor looked brand new. Then they sealed a few small cracks with another epoxy material, ground those down and vacuumed the floor again. They then laid down the epoxy material. The color flakes followed. I choose Coconut to coordinate with the wall color and the cabinets. The smell was very slight. They even were able to install the epoxy material 2 feet under my wall cabinets. Thomas worked his magic and got the roller under the cabinets. And then spread the flakes. The next day they arrived early, scraped the entire floor of all loose coconut flakes, vacuumed it again and laid down the clear sealer coat. The crew was extremely careful in working around my cabinets, toy collections, and newly painted walls. They left the job site perfect. No debris, flakes, waste left behind. If you want one of the finest Epoxy floors I have ever seen, done by a crew that really knows what they are doing, go with Epoxy Armor Systems. Talk to Warren, and if you get Thomas and Scott, you are getting the best. Remember that you get what you pay for. It might cost a bit more, but you are getting the best, with a Lifetime Warranty. I recently had Epoxy Armor Systems epoxy my garage floor and they did a terrific job. What I appreciated most was that they didn't try to rush the job. Our project was done during a cold, wet spell in early November. We had to keep postponing them because of all the prep work on our part! First an attic ladder, then a new shed, then patching and painting the garage until we were finally ready for them to come!
