I spent 45 days here, and it truly changed my life. The staff is incredible--knowledgeable,…read morecompassionate, and always willing to tailor care to each person's needs the best they can. You can genuinely feel how much they care about every patient who walks through the doors. From the nurses, kitchen staff, and cleaning staff to the counselors, directors, and everyone in between, every single person was supportive and treated me with kindness and respect. The environment they create makes it easier to focus on healing and recovery. I'm beyond thankful that I took the step to come here and get sober. Without the support of both the staff and the other patients, I honestly don't know where I'd be today. This place gave me hope, support, and a foundation for a new life. I highly recommend this facility to anyone struggling and looking for help. It's by far the best rehab I've ever been to.

I just spent 21 days at this facility. It was not a pleasant experience. I have several issues…read morewith the clinical director. They are understaffed and overpopulated with patients. That unfortunately makes them terribly unorganized. Poor communication between staff members. So many of the residents have mental health conditions along with substance abuse problems that this center doesn't seem qualified to treat. I went there desperately seeking help with alcohol abuse. I was shuffled between a few different "councilors" but most of my treatment was nothing more than AA meetings lead by former patients. However if you have good insurance or the ability to pay you are assured admittance.

I stopped in here after seeing a sign advertising kombucha and health foods, because I didn't think…read morethere was any place like this in Atchison. The interior is very eclectic/hippie/alternative and there are a few places to sit down near the front. There is a sizable area of trinkets, decorations, and alternative medicine type stuff for sale. My mushroom wild rice bowl was good, and would have been a satisfying meal in itself in the full size portion. I tried a small bottle of their homemade kombucha, which was more vinegary and sour than I am used to (I usually drink store bought). There was also a considerable amount of SCOBY in the bottle, which I know is fine but just isn't my favorite. I am very impressed with their selection of vegan and vegetarian food options, which is something that the Atchison community has been needing. There are certain daily specials that are prepared on different days of the week, as shown on the menu. I will have to come back to try some more menu items!

I thought it was time to quit driving 2 hours to my old dentist in Omaha. I was wrong. I had seen…read moremy previous dentist for 10 years and no issues in the previous 6 month check up. I went here and was told I needed extensive work, to the tune of thousands of dollars. I could even get the in office credit card if needed. I was shocked that my teeth had deteriorated so much. So much so that I contacted my trusted dentist and told him what was found. He couldn't believe it either and asked to have the x-rays sent to him. He saw nothing. Just a few teeth that he has said he is "keeping an eye on" for years. I have been back for several more check ups and still nothing. My advice would be to have a second opinion before beginning an expensive plan. I still would rather drive to my Omaha dentist for honest, friendly service.
