Although my experience was a couple years ago I wanted to drop my recommendation for this practice…read more I had a money hungry dentist in another state tell me I needed a crown on a tooth I never had a problem with and went ahead and trusted he knew what he was talking about and had it crowned. Worst decision. Fast forward I always get food stuck in between that and the tooth beside it since it's not smooth. So my new dentist here in MO has worked on the tooth beside it bunch due to cavities and messed up the crown adjacent then told me we needed to pull it. That ticked me off because here I am looking at pulling a tooth I have never had an issue with AND it's slowly killing the one next to it too. I said no I wanted a second opinion and he sent me here. I told the doc my story and he said he would do his best to save it even though he thought the tooth had less than a 50% chance of succeeding but I wanted to try. It was a long appointment and he had some challenges but I was comfortable throughout the procedure and 3 years later I still have my tooth. I don't have the same problems getting food stuck alongside the crown anymore either which has bought some time for the tooth next to it as well. If I ever have to have any more detailed work done in my mouth I expect to return to this practice in St Joe. They are a good one!

I wanted a dentist who cares about the health of my teeth as much as I do. I wanted a dentist office that is friendly and welcoming. I found all of that in Brooks Family Dentistry! My dental health has been in the hands of Dr. Brooks for several years now and I am a very happy client. I have a gum issue with a capped tooth and I can say it's in better health right now than it has been for years. My husband goes here as well as I wouldn't let him stay with a previous dentist that was all about their bottom line regardless of what is in the best interest of the patient. I highly recommend this office for your family dental care. We are both happy to be clients of Dr. Brooks!

I thought it was time to quit driving 2 hours to my old dentist in Omaha. I was wrong. I had seen…read moremy previous dentist for 10 years and no issues in the previous 6 month check up. I went here and was told I needed extensive work, to the tune of thousands of dollars. I could even get the in office credit card if needed. I was shocked that my teeth had deteriorated so much. So much so that I contacted my trusted dentist and told him what was found. He couldn't believe it either and asked to have the x-rays sent to him. He saw nothing. Just a few teeth that he has said he is "keeping an eye on" for years. I have been back for several more check ups and still nothing. My advice would be to have a second opinion before beginning an expensive plan. I still would rather drive to my Omaha dentist for honest, friendly service.

I signed a paper saying I was paying 175, got to the counter and alysia told me it was 375. I explained the situation to her and exclaimed that I wasn't coming here for a cleaning she shoved her food out of the way she was eating rolled her eyes and was extremely rude I asked for the number for the office manager she refused. Told me it was on the receipt (it wasn't) I had to google it. Got ahold of Bonnie the office manager finally and she blamed the miscommunication on me saying that I was scheduled for a cleaning. Would not recommend. All my concerns were swept under the rug and I'm stuck with a $375 bill for some a cleaning and a filling. Also was there for four hours:/
