I have fibromyalgia and found out she did too. It was so relieving to have a medical professional who was educated on fibromyalgia after years of being given the run around by other medical professionals. She added some new medications for me to try and I'm hoping to get some relief from them. She was very kind and patient and explained everything to me. I felt like I was visiting with a family member. I knocked 1 star because I arrived early but still was called back 20 min after my appt time.

St. Lukes Physician Group at Barry Road in Kansas City did not honor my insurance. That in itself…read moreis not the problem. The problem is that when I set the appointment after being referred by my personal physician, I gave them all my information including my insurance information. They decided not to inform me that they would not honor it. Pryor to setting the information I check with St. Lukes website and my insurance was listed there along with my company specifically. I would not recommend attending any St. Lukes organization group as they can not be trusted. Even if you check yourself, they do not keep their information updated, nor inform you. They will treat you and take as much of your money as they can. They will not give you the insurance discount even if you have Insurance. "They aren't required to" because they didn't honor my insurance is what I was told.

This office is very unprofessional and inefficient. Dr. Lee and her staff are in it for the money…read more They do not care about their patients . I'll fill you in on my latest experience with them. A month ago I woke up at 2:30am with an UTI. I waited till opening hours and immediately called the office. I was told the soonest appointment they had available was in two weeks. I asked did you understand what I'm asking to be seen for and she said yes. She also said I advice you go to a clinic or urgent care. So I go to clinic, they give me meds for a confirmed UTI. The next day I start throwing up I was having a reaction to the meds. I tried calling urgent care and waited almost an entire day and no one got back to me, I then call Dr. Lee's office , left a message with the nurse asking if they could help, prescribe a new medication so I could continue and not be in pain. They finally called me back 2 days later. (I took care of the problem myself. Yesterday (Monday Nov. 29th 2021) I decided to call and get an appointment scheduled no voice, sore throat, no fever, coughing . The receptionist schedules me in for a virtual appointment with Dr. Lee because she was booked , on (Tuesday @12:20pm) the next day. She also told me she would have the nurse call me because she is the only one that is able to override appointments . No one called me , I called on Tuesday morning to confirm that I had an appointment at 12:20 pm. She again confirms it and says the nurse may call you back on this . Immediately following the conversation I receive a call from the office to get new insurance information and all the stuff they needed ($$). I received a call at 12:10pm from a nurse and she tells me with the symptoms I'm having a virtual appointment will not work. They have no available appointments for me and I should go to Urgent Care!!! They do not care .
