She then told me they had a dermatologist on staff and would make an appointment for me with this person. When I arrived, the doctor told me he wasn't a dermatologist, but had some knowledge in dermatology. However, he had no knowledge of the service I was requesting. So, once again, I was lied to about the service I would be provided. My suggestion would be to avoid this clinic. If they aren't able to honestly represent what they can offer, it makes me wonder about the quality of care.

Dr. Kastendieck is one of the best doctors anyone could ever ask. He tries to help you get to the root of the problem. He believes in preventive care which is incredibly important to me. I'd rather not have to deal with a problem at all than to deal with a problem after it comes up. He has helped me with so much. He has helped me deal with my sever generalized anxiety disorder, severe issues with my fibromyalgia, . I have suffered from chronic pain my entire life. It's gotten so bad that when I originally went to Unity Medical I was unable to properly walk without a wheelchair. I would have days where I could walk, but I always needed help with doing basic things in life like showering. Without Unity Medical I would not have good quality of life. I owe them everything. My debt of gratitude is great for not just Dr. Kastendieck, but the entire staff. They have help me through a lot over the past 10 years. Unity Medical has been good not just for me, but for my entire family, because of them now I can help family instead of them helping me all of the time. I insisted upon a biopsy for an area that the provider scoffed off saying that it was just a bruise or scrape from gardening. Squamous cell carcinoma was the lab result. I would have lived with it, growing, for 6 more months until I returned for the follow up quick visit where I wonder if she would notice then? They scheduled me for a surgical removal of this squamous cell, but there is no way I am going to let someone who could not tell and did not want to biopsy start cutting on me. In case this is not clear, I do not recommend.
