Experienced hygienists, professional and super-friendly staff, and excellent dental cleanings are…read morethe hallmark of this place. I discovered it after I searched for an alternative to my costly and overbearing dentist who changed my appointment so often that too much time would elapse between cleanings. I found this place around two years ago and have never looked back. The people here are SO nice and courteous that you'd swear they were your friends. They never screw up paper work or reschedule appointment times. The best part? I had never received such a thorough cleaning until I came here. My teeth felt as smooth as glass and sparkled, and my gums weren't as sore as when I would visit my dentist, who was rougher but didn't clean as well. This place uses state of the art equipment. They use ultrasonic instruments and polishers as well as the traditional scalers and curettes. Here is what you need to go here: an ongoing relationship with a dentist so that up-to-date records can be maintained per state regulations (since dental hygienists are not permitted to diagnose or treat disease); no major periodontal or health issues that would prevent the hygienists from cleaning your teeth; and at least an hour if you haven't had a good dental cleaning in over a year because they are very thorough. I am a 45-yr-old woman with no periodontal disease or gingivitis. I brush, floss, and exercise regularly (this is important for gum health), so I'm usually in and out of there in 45 minutes or less and pay around $114. They have a scale that adjusts for more advanced cases of plaque. I believe my cost is the base amount, but you should check because I'm not sure. You leave with a toothbrush and the cleanest mouth ever. I highly recommend this business.

During my yearly physical last month, I found a new skin growth, raising the stakes to find a dermatologist. My new GP recommended Epiphany Dermatology. I was convinced it would be just another "we aren't taking new patients" call. But to my surprise, not only were they taking new patients, they had an opening in less than a week. The office staff was very professional. I was seen by a PA, Timothy. Instead of the typical rushed visit, he took as much time as I wanted, and explained thoroughly. I recommend Epiphany Dermatology without any hesitation.

The appointment date on the website explicitly stated it was set for 11/01/26. Well, two days later, I received a phone call telling me that my son missed his appointment for 9/9/26. Apparently, about 3 weeks prior to this, we had accepted a cancellation slot so he could see the doctor sooner, but the appointment date on the intake paperwork never updated to reflect that change. When the staff member called to inform me he had missed his appointment, she said, "The doctor doesn't want to see him anymore because he has a strict no-show policy. You owe a $50 no-show fee." That policy would actually be fine if the correct appointment date had been communicated so we could show up when expected. Most clinics call or text to confirm an appointment a day or two in advance, but this place did not. It was very unprofessional and rude. No wonder there are so many 1-star reviews.

In a state where access to healthcare is already difficult for a practice to drop contracts with major insurance carriers and opt to only serve individuals who are able and willing to pay out of pocket is abhorrent. Santa Fe elitist practitioners know that there is a wealthy population in this town that will support these "concierge practices." So, they don't care what happens to their existing patients. I could stay, and pay the concierge prices but what service am I getting for the additional out of pocket? My last three visits I've noticed a significant decline in customer service at the reception area. The practice manager is downright rude. And, they will not submit claims as an out of network provider so I'd have the privilege of taking on their administrative work. So what concierge service would I receive for the additional out of pocket cost?

PLEASE be aware that Medicare will NOT approve these charges in full & consequently your secondary insurance will also not reimburse you for the total charges. It was explained to me by my insurance company that under federal law, the provider should be paying me a refund since the doctor's charges were NOT approved by Medicare after the they were submitted. I did not pursue this however, as I am fairly certain they will argue that their policy is that the patient must make full payment at the time of the service. On July 25, 2025 I was seen again with concerns over sutures left in my scalp. I was told they would eventually work themselves out. It is now a full year & 2 months after my surgery & those sutures are still a nuisance for me, and often get infected. When I complained about this recently to the receptionist by phone, she never returned with an explanation from the doctor. She asked if I wished to schedule an appointment, which knowing I would be charged for it again, I declined. I was warned by my insurance company to avoid & beware of doctors who do not accept insurance & overcharge for procedures. I will NOT be returning to Dr. Grant.

Dr. Auerbach has treated me for many years as I have unusually sensitive skin that has regular outbreaks of odd conditions including rosacea and acne through many years of my adulthood that are usually common only in teenagers. After contracting and recovering from COVID I have suffered from an extensive "COVID" rash for several years. There is little concrete information on treating my condition, yet Dr. Auerbach tirelessly worked on finding a solution for the boils and sores which originally and continually covered my face, neck and upper chest. His medical care and diligent approach has diminished my issue completely as long as I regularly use the topical medication he prescribes. He is always professional and treats me as an equal adult in spite of my regular long COVID brain fog that often makes me appear to be a complete idiot. I have been going to dermatologists off and on since my teenage years and in my opinion, this physician is one of the most professional and competent dermatologists I have seen. Also, from my experience the front desk has been friendly, competent and helpful.
