Restoring our pipes with this company has not only greatly improved our water pressure and security of our home but it's been incredibly refreshing to finally work with a truly professional company! My husband & I have been working with several different contractors recently for different major projects as we work through upgrading our old home and we're exhausted from having to adjust our expectations as some of these "professionals" we've hired to work on our property have left us wondering whether companies actually understand what professionalism is. I'm thrilled to recommend this company because we are amazed that they not only met our expectations but actually succeeded in exceeding them which I assure you is not an easy thing to do because we are very specific when it comes to how we like work to be accomplished on our property. From the start, we called the office and had a wonderful conversation with Elba who listened to our concerns and answered all of our questions without rushing us. She was friendly and knowledgeable so we agreed to schedule a free consultation with Tommy. Tommy was also very friendly and patient considering how on the day he showed up for our appointment, we didn't hear his knocking because of other work that was being done at our home that day but he came back and was happy to help us. His extensive experience showed as he quickly advised us of the issues our pipes were preparing to have and provided us with an estimate to repair what needed to get done but with no pressure to sign a contract immediately. We didn't hesitate to proceed and we appreciated receiving detailed instructions as to what we could expect on the day the work was scheduled and how we needed to prepare our property for the work to get done efficiently. On the day that the job was scheduled, we noticed that the Project Manager, Edgar, arrived early to organize his team outside and get their equipment ready so by the time our project was scheduled to begin, they were actually ready to start working immediately! We had a slab leak at our home. We called the service department at Epipe and talked to Stephanie they sent out a technician and found the leak right away. Since we had marble tile a direct repair was not an option. We decided to only repair the line that was leaking. They stopped the leak got out water back on and returned the next day. To whom it may concern, My experience with e-pipe and their staff was significant enough that I wanted to share my experience on Yelp. During the 2020 holiday my wife and I discovered a small wet spot under the carpet in her office doorway and immediately suspected slab leak. We called our home warranty folks and they sent a plumber team yet could not find any noticeable leak coming from the pipes. They wanted to do more investigation which would require opening walls to pinpoint the pinhole leak. We have copper pipe and our 5 bedroom 4 bath home was built in 1965. We chose to get a second opinion and invited the repipe1 sales rep over and heard his pitch. He was not a plumber yet made a good pitch and I was ready to move forward. My wife still wanted another opinion so we had Thomas from epipe come to the house. He was a plumber and actually walked the house explaining the the different shut offs and how the water routed into the home from the main line at street. We were so impressed with his story we chose to move forward paid a deposit and scheduled their plumbing team to come over and detect the existing suspected leak so we can get back to our normal lives. We had been turning the water off and on for a week or so and living with bowls of water next to bathrooms and kitchen sink. Their plumber team David and another gentleman came by for several hours and still were hard pressed to find a pinhole leak. By this time I had peeled back the carpet and was watching for leaks. David mentioned that if leaking happened again please call. That night it was cold and we had the heater on and I started noticing water leaking significantly. I took a video and sent it to Thomas whom immediately had another plumber from epipe over the next day. I shadowed the plumber Jose? and after no leak was found AGAIN, together we started snooping around the water heater and the HVAC system both next to my Wife's office door looking for a water leak source and eventually removed the front cover of the HVAC system and saw puddled water on the base of the unit. Further investigation revealed a broken drain hose line connected to the condensation reservoir which was apparently draining water onto the base of the 90%er HVAC and then it would spill over onto the slab below and follow a small crack to the exact spot under the wife's office door. ALL ALONG it was the heater causing the problem and NOT a slab leak as suspected. I called e-pipe and spoke to Jason the manager and he said no problem and that I could cancel the contract. He only charged me the minimum for 1 visit from his plumber team (even though they came out twice). They sent me a refund check within a week and our life has gone back to normal. Kudos to the team at e-pipe...they were professional and friendly every step of the way and when we eventually have a slab leak we will be making only 1 call to epipe for a complete house treatment. I would not recommend this company. Shortly after their installation a faucet was inoperable. On several occasions the company sent representatives to fix the faucet and it could work for awhile. The company blamed prior contractors and water heaters for the problem they caused. ePIPE accepted no responsibility. They charged for a service call while under warranty. I had to hire a competent plumber to corrected ePIPE's failures. Additionally, ePIPE spilled sludge on our driveway. They tried to hide the spill but it was caught on camera. The company ultimately restored the driveway to its prior condition but not without a fight. read more

Careful with them. Terrible. The price tripled from their estimate. It was interesting that they diagnosed the problem. Their technicians got everything ready to go for the epoxy coating. They said, "you have 7 extra feet to coat (in the same line), so the bill will no longer be $995 but will now be $2,850!!! Total scam. I spoke with the supervisor. Total hard sale tactics. They said if you do it now, we will include the $295 to diagnose the issue. I said no way. The next day, their estimator Michael came out and he was instructed to give me the estimate for $2400 plus $295. The next day, I found another company that did the entire job for $1,150 with a 10 year warranty. Save your money and be sure to shop around. Epipe was the worst, most unethical, high pressure sales company that I have come across in a long time. Stay away and be sure to find another company. read more

He was timely and professional at my initial appointment, was able to answer all of my questions and reassure me regarding any possible concerns I had. Thomas's expertise as a plumber himself and not just a salesman really helped us see the value in the epoxy process and ultimately decide it was the right solution for us. We used ePipe after interviewing several repipe companies...the repipe people were for the most part dishonest in their pricing, not truthful in the extent of damage they would leave behind and misrepresent how much of your plumbing they can actually replace. EPipe was a perfect fit for us...Tommy was very knowledgeable and professional and Stephanie is an angel. The process went smoothly and our water pressure is amazing. No wall damage requiring no patch and repair. As to another review I saw regarding the asbestos testing, any reputable company will demand asbestos testing before they will remove drywall and plumbing if your home is a certain age...we had to have it done for our furnace replacement also. I called for a repipe estimate, i talk with Virginia, at first she seemed nice but instead of focusing on my issue she spent 20 min trash talking their competitor and telling me not to go with them. We hired ePipe to resolve the reoccurrence of pinhole leaks in our aging copper plumbing. The process went well and they were clean and professional. The day after I noticed the outside irrigation system was not working due to decreased water flow. The flow was so limited that the heads of the sprinklers didn't even pop up anymore. In contacting ePipe / Ace Duraflo they sent out a technician that inspected the sprinklers and stated the flow was normal, and that the irrigation system never worked in the first place. They further made their claim by stating that the dead spots on the lawn (we have dogs and they pee a lot) were evidence that the system never worked. I have provided additional proof by taking photos of areas that show over watering (moss growth) as well as the rest of the lawn is alive (where the dogs don't pee). The other issues I noticed was in attempt to impress us with the shower water flow the crew removed the shower head water governors. This in the middle of California's worst droughts in which we should all be conserving water. The company did eventually solve both of these issues but it wasn't without several phone calls and the dedication and assistance of our sales representative (Tommy). He continued to be our advocate and pull what strings he could within the company to help us out. So, in summary, I have my reservations of using this company. Unfortunately the alternative of re-piping your house is not a cheap one. Proceed with caution. read more

After experiencing an abundance of "pin hole" leaks within a year's time we decided to try ePIPE which a type of epoxy product flushed into your incoming pipes sealing future leaks. This procedure was completed on January 31, 2013 and I have yet to see the work completed. The pin hole leaks have not returned but their inability to complete the job is mind boggling. Since the job was "completed" I have had them back more than five times for the following reasons: dirt in my water; sprinklers not working (I had my own gardner replace all); bathroom faucet leaking; bathroom hot water faucet to be repaired/replaced (still waiting). Tommy was by far the most professional and knowledgeable individual we interviewed to do an epoxy coating on our pipes. He listened carefully to our concerns and answered all our questions thoroughly. His product carries excellent transferrable warranties both from the company and Ace Duraflo Systems. Our installation took one day due to the size of our house. They only had to cut one hole to access plumbing in a new bathroom with speciality tile. The dry wall person, Efrain, was out the next day to patch the hole perfectly and match the wall texture. On the installation day, Luis, Isidro and Paz arrived on time and began the process of prepping our home. Tommy also stopped by to be sure we were all on the same track as to items we had discussed. We had 3 slab leaks! 5 months being pushed around by insurance company so we decided to listen to our plumber and go this route. It's so nice to know the bomb under our houris gone! The dreaded words of my plumber... you have "another" slab leak.. I was not happy as my first leak was in Dec of last years.. 6 months, here we go again.. On my last slab leak, I had it repaired by the plumber by working around the leak.. As I have now learned, there is an issue with a water additive in Orange County that damages copper pipes leading to the very high incidence of slab leaks.. Ask your neighbors if they have had one and you may be very surprised at how many of the respond in the positive.. It would cost you less to go with a patch..or work around.. but.. if you have to do it again and again, I'm sure it would cost a lot more in the long run, not to mention the inconvenience and potential property damage. I chose to address my leak by utilizing E-pipe to put an end to this problem.. no bandaid for me... A couple of days before the job, they visited my house and set up a temporary fix so that I would have water in my house for the weekend.. that was really appreciated. My repairs were done this week 6-8-16, the crew arrived on time and began work early on that day.. It is amazing the amount of equipment that is required to complete a job like this.. A couple of points: The crews were very careful to cover my hardwood floors with a soft carpet to prevent any damage during the repairs. The job took a day and a morning to complete.. The crews replaced all of my water valves in the house.. nice, I will not have to worry about frozen or cruddy valves for many, many years.. At the completion of the job, any holes were patched, the house was cleaned up and it is now better than new.. Better than new ? you ask ? yes, I now have a water system that should not leak for decades (I hope).. I'm sure it will add to my re-sale value when it is time to sell. I highly reccomed E-Pipe to anyone who want to put an end to the nightmare of slab leaks.. these guys are quick, clean, professional and have a lot of respect for your home.. This means my house value will goes up with leak free warranty. 4) They discounted $500 from original $8,115 since I have a homeowner's Ins. I had them epoxy pipe two of my rental homes. The first one went without a hitch so I hired them do the second one. Unfortunately their crew installed a wrong connector at the upstairs master bathroom so a few days after the job was done, we noticed leaking coming from inside the walls. Ironic since the epipe was supposed to be a preventative measure against future leaks. I contacted them and they sent someone out right away. When things go well, it's easy to give someone 5 stars but for me, it's more important to know how a company responds when they make a mistake. Many companies will fight you tooth and nail to avoid fixing an issue they caused but in this case, ePipe completely owned the mistake, hired a mold remediation company, and repaired the damage. My HOA scheduled ePIPE to epoxy coat the pipes in my condo due to failing copper pipes that are some 38 years old. I wasn't sure what to expect but I must say, I was quite surprised at how professional and courtesy Antonio and his crew was. He informed me of what the procedure entailed and explained every step that was being performed. They replaced all the valves and lines at each water outlet with the exception of the dishwasher hose and clothes washer hoses. They pressure tested the entire water circuit for leaks and verified a leak free system. That being said my five star rating is well deserved. And a 10 year warranty came with the work. read more

11 years ago we had a number of problems with slab/pinholes leaks and all the pipes in our home were treated with epoxy. We have had no problems since but last week the tiles were suddenly warm and we realized there must be a leak. I called and the team was out the next day and sure enough, there a leak in one of the pipes due to the fact the pipe itself had lost structure from age. They decided to repipe rather than take a chance and did an excellent job with a small hole in the drywall and a small hole in the ceiling. All around top notch company. We first got an estimate from Tommy a year ago after a we had a copper pipe leak in a concrete slab, he came out and went through all the details, super nice guy. We ended up not doing anything about it but a year later we had more leaks. We contacted Tommy and there was absolutely NO "I told you so" attitude coming from him, very professional. They sent an excellent, knowledgeable team (Martin, Hector, and Daniel) out to epipe the line but after a close inspection they said the pipe was most likely too corroded to successfully epipe, but they were willing to try if we wanted, the other option was to reroute the pipe and abandon the pipe in the slab, they gave us a good quote and time frame so that's what we did. The house is complicated but they were able to figure out the best way to do it. The company and team were very accommodating to our schedule and the job was completed quickly and cleanly. I live in a condo and have one attached neighbor. One day I noticed water in my atrium. Plumber said neighbor had slab leak. She got it fixed. The next day the leak had moved a couple of feet but was coming into my atrium much faster. She then had her pipes moved to attic. I decided to get my pipes done before they too started leaking. A water district employee came by to see why our water bill had increased so much. I explained situation and he recommended e-Pipe in Santa Ana. E-Pipe came next day. They cut a hole behind each shower and used a chain type auger to clean out all of the pipes. They then forced water thru pipes to wash out 40 years of crud. They went to lunch and came back to blow the epoxy into pipes. Next day they came back to repair drywall behind showers. They were professional, friendly and I have not had any problems. They said they had access to white tile & are now claiming they only have yellow tile. As far as I know, the pipes have been restore which is quite an expensive insurance policy but provides peace of mind. There have been a few things that I have been disappointed by. The first, I had to make arrangements for an inspection after restoration was completed. I had to wait all day for the inspector only to find I didn't pass because ePipe did not put tags on all necessary connections. I had to make another appt. for ePipes to come out to house to tag everything. With the second inspection this issue resulted in an unnecessary two extra days of my time. Second, after my cold water clothes were ruined by hot water, I figured out that they switched the hot/cold connections on my washing machine. I called to request a fix ASAP leaving a message and writing them through their website but received no reply. I called them to follow-up and they initially told me it would take 5 days to come to house. After I debated with them they accommodated me with a next day appt. This resulted in additional 3 unnecessary days of service. I just hope I don't need them within the warranty period read more

I decided to use this service when I had a pipe that kept flooding my living room and leaks else where in my home. I did a lot of research on options to protect all of the pipes in our house without leakage. It was a quick and easy service and they did not have to knock out multiple holes in my wall, which was really nice. I think I had two holes total. Fast forward to today, it's now been a few years... I called customer service with a question and "Raul" sent out two professional employees on the same day... and they showed up on time. It was determined my problem is not related to the E pipe. I used ePipe for my rental. I had a very different experience than what others have noted. As it turns out, they did not check all the lines and the water line for sprinklers had too much epoxy and they had to come out and reroute the pipe. Secondly, they did not relight the water heater. Most importantly, while completing the work over the water heater, they caused a pin hole size leak in the gas line to the water heater. Thankfully, my tenant contacted The Gas Company who came out and saw the source and replaced the gas line. There was an opportunity to reach out by telephone to apologize for their mistakes rather than emailing me. This could have been far worse had my tenant not raised the issue with the gas leak. read more

This was our 2nd water leak in this calendar year. Our HOA is susceptible because of soil composition and other factors. DC Drains did everything possible to find the leak with no success. However there was a leak somewhere. They recommended EPipe. Rick was the representative who fully explained what the epoxy repipe does. This is not a complete copper repipe which literally tears your house apart. I went through their website that is very helpful. We agreed on the estimate which was a 2 day job. Sal was the head man. 30 years experience. His crew checked and rechecked to make sure the water was back at the right psi. Bottom line is there is no leak. My HOA was awesome enough to pay for an ePipe in our entire condo division! We all received a 10 year (transferable to any new owner) warranty! That gives good resale value. I moved into my condo 3.5 years ago and I can say there were always plumbing trucks and water restoration companies in the condo area. It made me nervous that my house might leak soon. So, about 6 months after I moved in I received the ePipe. I was not familiar with the process so they came to do the work and explained to me what it was. They were very nice, helpful, knowledgeable, and clean! They put runners down so they didn't make a mess. Didn't seem like they were here long. Gave me a reading of pressure before and after epoxy - slight improvement but they said my pipes had decent pressure before treatment. We had a leak in one of our pipes a couple years ago. Our house was old (built in the late 50's) so we had ePIPE coat all of the pipes in our house. They gave us a quote for the job and that was what we paid. There was a nice discount for paying cash. The work was done in one day. Recently we decided to have a water pressure regulator installed as well. Called ePIPE and were able to schedule an appointment within a week. We got a discount on the cost of the regulator for being a repeat customer. Dave installed the regulator yesterday. Dave was unable to turn off the water at the main junction on the sidewalk (the valve was frozen), so he had to do more work to install the regulator. He did not charge extra for the work. Dave also noticed that one of our other outside pipes was showing some wear. So he replaced it, also without any extra charge. And thanks to Dave I found out that our main water street shutoff was frozen, so I called the water company who will fix the main valve for free. I would recommend ePIPE to anyone. read more

most horrible experience. these people have horrible service. they were all set to come out to do my slab leak and do a cut and cap. and leak detection. gave me the price. sounded okay. then after i give all my info i get the bomb. you have to pay another 400.00 for asbestos check. firstly say that in the beginning. secondly who does that. not one other company i called afterwards said anything about that extra charge. they dont know what they are doing. do not use them. im so tired of companys trying to get more out of customers. greedy and unprofessional. takes so long to get an honest company anymore or one that knows how to do business right. straight forward and efficient. these people are none of that. they would have just kept adding to the bill in the end. stay away. read more
