I don't understand why this place has such bad reviews. I've always had a pleasant experience. The food is consistently good. Their pizza bread sticks are so delicious (definitely recommend)! I usually do phone-in orders and for the most part have always been told a pretty accurate wait time. It's Wings and Things! Honestly, there are some places you should just know what you're getting into. Fast food, the gym, Wings N' Things, you're not going in looking for candlelight and table service. Here, the floors are slippery with grease, the bathroom rivals a gas stations', everything is coated in some kind of sauce, the lone video game is usually broken or turned off, and the chicken is pretty damned good. And so it is here. I've been a fan of these dives for years. In Oceanside, down here in San Diego, and this particular one in Vista, they all have my favorite BBQ sauce on wings, the best crisped-up skin, and give you that tired, disgusted feeling with yourself that's always sure to follow your chicken. It's seriously a good way to end your day; even if it's for lunch, because you sure as hell won't be able to do anything but try and cope with your hyper tension and high blood pressure for the better part of the following week. Anyway, I've gotten everything from a simple BBQ Strip Meal, to a bag full of Breadsticks, to a tub of 50 Buffalo Wings, I've never been disappointed in anything. About the only gripe I can think of about Wings N' Things is there insane stinginess with their Blue Cheese and Ranch dips. Even when getting those party packs of wings, they only seem to want to give you one small bag with a couple of carrots and celery and just one thing of dip. I remember having to argue with the kid behind the counter, and eventually the manager, that you couldn't use that for an entire tub of 50 wings.
