We searched for over a month and a half for the right RV until we came to Epic RV Liquidators. Jim was very friendly, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful as well. It is a family run buisness and they make you feel like part of their family when you are there. We went there to look at a used toy hauler. We wound up buying a brand new Genesis Supreme Vortex Fifth Wheel because their prices were very reasonable. It was a better deal than any other RV's we had seen in our month and a half of searching. Their service over the last 4 months for the couple very minor issues we had with our RV was great as well. Extremely poor service and very unprofessional. In October 2020, we were displaced during the Monterey/Santa Cruz fires. Purchasing a Toy Hauler to live in was an urgent matter and scarcity of these RV's was real at this time. So, we had no choice but to buy from Epic RV when we located a Toy Hauler that was a good fit. They've got a weirdo salesman walking around with a stuffed animal flirting with every woman who walks on the lot. This guy tricks my partner into giving him her cell #, pretending he wanted to use her business services. We had to block his number because he would not stop calling her. When it came to our purchase, I had to call and call right from the beginning all the way through pick up. No efforts by Mike in Finance, or Jim the owner to assist us in our time of need. Despite having excellent credit, Mike who never took the initiative to make a phone call to us; turned us down after only running our application through Bank of the West. Lazy! Mike said, I'm gonna refund your deposit today, sorry can't help ya. Never probing for an alternate lending solution. I called my Credit Union and was approved for a $76,000 RV loan the same day. It took Epic RV a few weeks to finally give us a pickup date, only to be notified the day before we were to pick up the RV that it was gonna be another week or so before we could actually it pick up. Epic RV's after purchase customer service is disgraceful. Since we have had the Toy Hauler there have been a number of small issues arise that we have needed to reach back out to either Jim the owner or Chris the foreman in their shop. I tried working with Chris for over a month to get a strut for a cabinet that was not put on initially. Don't bother calling their shop directly, no one ever answers, if you leave a message, no one will call you back. I finally called Jim the owner. He said he would call me back same day. Didn't happen. I had to reach back out to him after 2 days and he could not even remember who I was or the problem we had spoken about just 2 days prior. Then he goes on to share his personal problems giving me every excuse. Never placing his customers' needs first. read more

We went in to look at a used toy hauler. We had looked at some prices online before we went and it was 7995. When we got there we also wanted to look at a few New ones and found one we liked. The sales rep told us the trailer was 21999. We sit down to ask about pricing and apparently the used went up to 10k and the sales rep gave us the wrong price and it was 22999 for the new. Owner wouldn't honor prices we had seen or been told. Left went to RV Liquidators in Clovis and they were willing to beat the 21k price epic failed to give us. Bought a brand new trailer that day. Only go to epic if you dont care What you pay because they chance prices based upon how the owner feels at that moment. Not a good business practice. read more

Save your money! These people are liars. I asked if we would need to bring our rv back to them if anything went wrong or under the warranty, they said no... lie! I had to go to Forest River to get them to intervene in my local area to assist with getting my RV looked at. They left my rv down for days before we wicked it up, the front legs all the way down and when Armando said never to do that it will ruin your refrigerator, it's true, it ruined our refrigerator before we even got to use it. Over a month later and we are still not able to use our refrigerator, what we now refer to as our beverage closet cause it does nothing! They didn't get our rv ready for transport like they were supposed, our shower door shattered and that's still waiting to be fixed...our batteries weren't charged, so we had to hotel it on the way home and they refused to assist with that. It's been a nightmare, don't go here! Handing over a $58000 check and we were treated as if we were a nuisance. They didn't even do the tax correct, so now I owe way more to get my plates and tags on my trailer than I expected. They told me they did the math correctly and I wouldn't have much to owe on transferring title to me. Another lie! Stay far far away! read more

Spent many hours searching internet for the right RV. Found what we were looking for at Epic RV. We are located 2 hours away and filled out info online, credit ap online and made phone call. No one ever answers. We left a message and received a call back that same day which was a Saturday. They said they would work on it as we were financing. We were prepared to put $15 K down. Never received a phone call back to say we were approved or not. Left 2 voicemails and never received a call back. Pretty disappointing when you are ready to spend $50 K on a trailer. read more

This is absolutely the worst place to buy an RV of any type. The employees are absolutely brainless! You can't believe anything they say because nobody there is knowledgeable in RV's. The guy that tried to help us knew nothing about anything and was just making stuff up as he went along. Also the owner or at least the guy that acted like the owner was a jerk and chewed out his own employees if front of us. I purchased my first Rv/trailer from Epic RV. First the price of my unit was great and was what I had been looking for on a used unit (2018) for a long time so positive there. The down fall of my experience was the people and the lack there of communication and service. My sales rep was nice but new on the job and missed a lot of key details I asked and needed. The finance manager was border line rude. few issue that should of been handled better. The whole time the sales lady told me they would do a complete walk through with me and make sure everything works and it would be detailed. Figured this was standard. Turns out in the end they charge $750 for this service. Maybe I should have researched this? When the guy did the walk through he was knew his stuff but it took 5 min? The unit was dirty and did not get detailed as promised. I asked multiple times what ball size I needed and let the sales person know I had a 2" on my jeep and let me know if I need a new one. No response. Showed up and guess what wrong ball on my Jeep. The finance guy rudely said you need to go get one. He with attitude told me I could buy there $350 set up. I ask if I could borrow one to get it home and he ended up selling me the one at half cost so kinda a positive. It was missing a cap on the bumper and the sales lady said she would take care of it. Nope I had to order one. Not a big deal just another "ball drop" I dropped my Jeep off early and had a brake controller and 7 wire installed. That job went great and looks clean. But The finance Guy told me it should be done around 12-1:00. He called at 4.30 and rudely demanded I hurry to get there because they were closing.but they close later but the service department was closing for my $750 5 min walk through. So price is great, service is not so great but service department does good work. read more

I can't believe there is only 1 review for these guys. My wife and I have been looking for over a year for the right toyhauler for us. Being from Sacramento we have a lot to choose from but ran out of choices and nothing was right so we ventured to Fresno and looked at a couple and then someone from another RV lot recommended these guys, we were getting tired and almost didn't go look because it was way out of the way. Found food nearby so we went over to look. This lot is small and soft gravel to walk in, so many rv's that you have to walk sideways to get around. Couldn't find a salesperson (I don't like to be bothered by salesman anyway)so we just wondered around until we got to the bigger toyhaulers. We found the vortex and a salesman showed up (Jared) and we explained what our requirements were. We looked through a few and nothing was right until we found the 3817V. Plenty of garage space due to open floor plan, biggest fridge ever seen in an RV, large shower, large sink. When he told us the price I said sell it. Now for the bad part, the financing that they have available is out of control unless you have terrible credit, We decided to bail on the only RV that fit 95% of our requirements and came home then decided to get our own financing Long story short: good people, worth walking sideways for good inventory and choices, stay away from the financing they offer unless you have no better choice read more

Worst experience ever. I drove down met my husband after his day of work wanted to look at the half ton towable trailer they were advertising. When we got there the one they advertised was full of stuff. My husband and I looked around with our two children and then left. Later called the sales man and stated we were really interested in the one advertised but wanted to make sure it was not banged up inside from storing stuff. Sales man said he would get it emptied. So the next day drove down a 1hour drive one way to only find out the sales man was off and another guy told me he would not empty it until I did the purchase paper work. But if I did that then I was agreeing to purchase it no matter what was wrong. So I called my husband and told him to not leave work. Since I we would not buy from a place that tells lies. Then I posted this on there face book page and the owner continued to talk trash to me pretty much stating how I couldn't afford it and I made a huge seem. Which I did not we ended up purchasing from another place I may have spent a little more about 2000.00 but I was treated with respect and not lied to. Also I did at epic they charge a 750 start up fee to get it ready to take on top of the purchase price. Don't listen to them not everyplace charges a fee like that and almost none were that much. read more

When we picked the trailer up we were given a packet of information and manuals along with Jim's cell phone number. It said to call if we had any problems at anytime 24/7. While getting ready for a four day trip dry camping in the desert we noticed our fridge stopped working. We called Jim and he put one of his service techs on the phone to begin troubleshooting. We realized it was more than likely the circuit board in the fridge and we were gonna have to take it in. We decided to make the trip anyway and use an ice chest for food and stuff. On the way back home we called and asked if we could stop by so they can take a look at it. He said yeah no problem bring it by. We showed up at 4 pm, 1/2 hour before they closed. Two of his service guys came in and began diagnosing the problem. They ended up replacing the circuit board and we were back on the road within 25 min. Epic rv sets the bar high when it comes to customer service. I would highly recommend coming to them based on customer service, integrity and their willingness to back the products they sell. read more

My travel trailer door handle broke and I was locked out one day before going camping. Epic RV liquidators got me in within an hour of my call and fixed it with a new handle immediately. I also paid almost nothing to get this fixed. I definitely have a new place to get my Travel trailer fixed or to buy a new travel trailer or toy hauler. They are excellent. Friendly.
