We had one of our two RV AC units go out in July. We are staying at an RV park and couldn't take the RV to a RV service center. I called Dan's Mobile RV Service and that same day a technician came out to diagnose the problem. It was determined that the compressor went out. I went through my extended warranty to replace the AC unit. Dan worked with me and ordered the AC replacement unit so it was ready to be installed. Once my warranty was approved Dan came out to my site and installed the AC unit. He did an outstanding job. He stayed in contact with me throughout the process. I was very impressed. I would recommend him for repairs. He was very thorough and professional. read more

No call, no show. After reading other reviews, it appears that ghosting his clients is a pattern. He failed to show up for a scheduled RV repair that was supposed to address a rooftop vent issue. As a result, the problem worsened and ultimately required extensive repairs that cost over $3,000--work that may have been avoided with a simple cleaning and vent replacement. I recommend choosing a more reliable and professional contractor. read more

Dan was great! I would highly recommend using his service. He is honest and provides his service at a reasonable price.

I Called Daniel on a Saturday to help me. He was on his way to the beach with his family and he took time to Offer verbal help To remedy my air Conditioner problem. No request for compensation . I wired my new A/C unit up and it was working but I could tell I needed Daniel to review my work . He Found two key items I had missed on the installation and he fixed those . My brand new A/C unit is working perfectly without problems . Such a relief . I will Keep this company as a key to my future RV repairs and I cannot recommend Daniel highly enough . I met Dan of Dan's RV Mobile Service in Fresno. Dan was awesome and after hearing we were without a refrigerator agreed to meet us on our travel route. After 30 minutes of trying to trace the current flow through the system he determined I wired the converter wrong. While not being critical he was very respectful of my attempt and even said he prefers RV owners who attempt to fix their own RVs because they have more of an appreciation for the work. He rewired the connections and in an hour we were own our way and didn't loose to much food. His pricing was very reasonable and I was so pleased with his price and service I even gave him a tip. If you are ever in the Fresno area and need RV service I highly recommend Dan. read more

My wife and I were staying in Lemon Cove RV Park so that we could visit Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Our rear A/C wasn't cooling adequately so I called Dan and he gave me a tip over the phone of something that I should check. That tip fixed our A/C and it was cooling normally after that. I would highly recommend Dan for any type of RV service. He is very friendly and he knows RV's very well. I just wish that he lived and worked closer to our home so that we could use him for all of our RV services. Thanks Dan, Kerry Gardner read more

I almost hesitated leaving this review because I didn't want Dan to be so busy he wouldn't have time for me in the future Dans mobile rv takes the misery out of owning a RV Thank you Dan !!!!! read more

Great personal service. Excellent work. Great price. 'Nuff said! OK, Yelp wants 85 characters. Awning repair on Class C.

THIS GUY GHOSTED US FOR FOUR MONTHS. We contacted him in August for our RV fridge, which is covered under an extended warranty. He came out and diagnosed saying we needed a new fridge. He called us and said he opened a claim and we should have the new fridge in 7-10 days. Waited two weeks and nothing. He finally contacted us and said two fridges came but both were damaged. At that time I requested he keep us informed on progress. He said he would. Again nothing from him. In October he said he has been unable to find the right fridge, and that the company had been sold to Lippert so there was a lot of confusion. I told him then this was his last chance to make good on all his promises. He assured me the fridge would be shipped November 5, 2024. I texted him twice with no response. Called the extended warranty company and HE NEVER OPENED A CLAIM AND THEY HAD NO IDEA WHO HE WAS! read more

I have called Daniel on 3 separate occasions. Once when my refrigerator was not cooling properly. He opened and cleaned inside the back of the fridge and adjusted the slide bar inside the fridge, Embarrassed to say I didn't know that adjusted the temp Next he came to my home and serviced my trailer brakes and packed the bearings, never replacing anything that did not need to be replaced. Finally I had a leak under my bathroom sink but only when I back flushed my black tank??? That one had me puzzled. Daniel knew exactly what to check/replaced and never had an issue with that again. His pricing has always been fair and at times even gave me advise no charge over the phone. I highly recommend Daniel and the quality of work he does. I never hesitate when there is an issue with my trailer. I have a 2011 Keystone Cougar 27' 1/2 ton series. Robert read more

I was having issues with my RV AC. After explaining the issue to Dan he asked me a few questions. Basically was able to troubleshoot the issue and gave me the likely cause over the phone ... no charge. Talk about saving me time and money. I can now decide how I want to proceed and I will be calling Dan to do the work for sure. A+ customer service! read more

Wow! What a find this guy was for me. I am selling a motor home and want things to work properly for the new owner. I called Dan to lubricate the big slide on our motor home and he came to the house and did a wonderful job. No sqeaks, creaks or whatever. Love the job he did. Also, a day later, I seemed to have a problem with the electric jacks descending. He game out again and corrected a problem so that the jacks would go up and down the way that they are supposed to. This guy is really good with previous training and experience training from a major RV dealer in Fresno before going into his own. I absolutely without question would ask Dan to come back and service my rig. read more

The brakes on my 2011 Montana Bighorn were shot. I called a local RV tech that never called or showed. Dan came out and did a fantastic job. called Dan's mobile rv service today because my air conditioner quit working last night. I explained what was happening and he asked some questions. He was really busy but stayed on the phone with me and with me sending pictures and following his directions we were able to find the problem. It was a burnt wire. Two wire connectors had melted together and the wire broke. He told me how to fix it safely and walked me through making sure all the electric was off. I was able to make the repair the way he told me to. I would not have been able to do this without him. I didn't even know that control box was in there. I am so thankful for his help. I had called several mobile services and they either didn't answer or didn't want the job. I highly recommend Dan's mobile service. Thank you for making time for me. Took a long time to return calls for one. Did a sloppy half assed repair for two. Did not fix the issues on the RV for three, left the job half repaired for four, does not return calls for five.... Took the RV to a dealer for repairs, they had to re_repair all the alleged work we paid Dan for. The service manager at the repair place was not surprised when we told him who worked on this RV. He gave us a long list of unhappy customers who have reported the same slop repairs. To anyone thinking of using Dan please be aware that he has unfinished and sloppy work in the past. Find a good legit shop and take your RV to THEM not a mobile rv repair person who conducted himself like Dan. We have pictures and service reports to backup this review. read more

Dan was awesome! I'm new to the trailer game and was having some issues with my water heater. Reached out to Dan for a quote and got a response back within 20-30 minutes. Dan is very experienced and can fix anything on an RV or trailer and makes it look easy. He comes to our off-the-grid land in the mountains to fix things that break or need to be replaced on RVs and trailers we keep there, from an 1989 Class A on its last legs to an Airstream. He knows all of them. We trust him. He arrives when he says he'll come, he works quickly and efficiently. He also coaches us on how to fix things ourselves, and has taught us so much. When something goes wrong, we call and he can usually diagnose the problem by phone. We send him pictures of the leak or broken part, and he first tries to walk us through a fix. If it is beyond us, he will get the parts we need before he comes. He is also a really nice guy. One of the best service people we have ever worked with and worth every penny. read more

We called Dan's Mobile RV today when our living room slide would not come in. He was out to our location in a little over hour and diagnosed the problem in no time at all. Since we were at the beginning of our trip he was able to make a temporary repair that would solve the problem until we got home. Dan was very knowledgeable, very helpful and we would definitely recommend hm if you have an RV problem. read more

Dan came out to fix our electric steps and adjusted our door lock (we got locked in!) on our Tiffin! He was friendly, timely and knowledgeable! He has a wide range of experience too. He made sure that I understood what he was doing, and showed me how I might be able to fix the steps if they stopped working again. He also recommended that I have a replacement motor on hand since my issue with the step is a known problem with the step motor. He made some recommendations on best care for the steps, and tools to have available should the the door lock trouble us on the road. I'm happy that we found Dan's RV Mobile Service and will definitely be calling him back to handle service in the future! Pricing is fair too. He makes RVing fun again! read more

I had a problem with my RV dometic refrigerator while in Sequoia National Park. Refrigerator only work on gas and that was intermittent. Did not work on electric power. Found Dan from dometic site and on Yelp. Highly rated and he definitely deserves those high ratings. Left a message via yelp and he responded quickly. He is very much in demand. I met him at my RV park the next day and he troubleshot my refrigerator and found blown 120vac fuse. He described every step swap the fuse and stayed and watched the refrigerator cycle on and off. He also called dometic and left a voice mail with my serial number as it is still under warranty. He also told them my power module was failing and needs to be replaced under warranty. Could not ask for better service. He has worked on all RVs for decades and is a master craftsman for RV repairs. He is now on my speed dial. Thanks Daniel!! read more
