Overall, there were some positive aspects, but also areas where we wish there had been more proactive communication and guidance. As first-time brides, we were hoping for a bit more structure early on. Our initial call didn't happen until about a month before the wedding, and while we shared detailed information (and updated things along the way), it sometimes felt like we were still responsible for following up with vendors directly on timing and logistics rather than the coordination team leading those conversations. During the rehearsal, we would have appreciated more direction on ceremony flow and small but important details--such as where everyone should stand, when guests should be prompted to stand, coordinating music timing with the DJ, and guiding the wedding party (for example, bouquet handoff timing). These details weren't clearly communicated, which made the rehearsal feel a bit unstructured. On the wedding day, the setup itself turned out beautifully and matched what we had envisioned, which we truly appreciated. However, throughout the event, coordination felt less seamless than expected. Some vendors (including the DJ) came directly to us with questions about the schedule, and there were a few timing hiccups--such as music not starting at the right moments, food service delays, and small details like champagne needing to be requested. At times, we also found ourselves looking for the coordinators when we needed support, which added a bit of stress in the moment. After the wedding, we noticed that a few personal items from our tables (such as polaroids and small keepsakes) were not returned, which was disappointing as they held sentimental value. Overall, we're grateful for the effort that went into making our day special--especially the setup--but we had hoped for a more hands-on and seamless coordination experience. For future couples, I would recommend being very detailed, proactive, and confirming expectations multiple times to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Our wedding took place on February 4, 2024, at the Mission Inn Hotel in Riverside. Due to a tight budget, I decided to plan all the pre-wedding details myself (which, while rewarding, was extremely exhausting -- I wouldn't necessarily recommend it!). However, I knew I would need a professional coordinator for the day of the wedding itself. Also, the Mission Inn Hotel has a preferred vendor list, and by choosing vendors from that list, we were able to avoid additional vendor fees. To be honest, I initially chose Ana because she was the most affordable option on their list. But after working with her, I realized she was absolutely essential to the success of our wedding day! Ana has many years of experience in the wedding industry and is incredibly knowledgeable about every step of the process -- she even holds a minister's license. On the day of the wedding, she flawlessly managed the timeline, handled unexpected issues with ease, and allowed us to fully enjoy every precious moment without stress. I can confidently say that without Ana's support, our wedding would not have been as perfect as it was. As first-time bride and groom who had no prior experience with wedding planning, we wholeheartedly recommend Ana as your wedding coordinator.     So happy we booked Heather for WTW's month-of package. We were actually looking for a day-of…read morecoordinator but after speaking with Heather, we realized that month-of would be more beneficial especially with vendor logistic/timing (plus WTW prices were reasonable). Heather saw us 2x before the big day: final venue walk through and our rehearsal day. She was super organized during those 2 days and helped guide us with our venue and corral our entire wedding party during the rehearsal. Heather also provided us with a day-of timeline, even for the hours she was not physically at the venue. On the wedding day, she arrived with Annaleise (team member) around 3pm and immediately got to work with the decor set up before our 6pm ceremony. All we had to do was hand over our room key and off they went! To be honest, we were so busy that day that if we didn't have Heather helping us out, I'm not sure how we could've accomplished what we needed to do. No amount of uncles and aunties could've done what WTW did in the same amount of time hah. Plus we had a cocktail hour "flip" during our ceremony, so having WTW help us during that time was crucial. At the end of the night, all our items were returned to vendors or packed away in the boxes we brought them in and stored in our room. During the month of, WTW used Google's suite to keep everything organized and documented, which I found very helpful since its a program that I am familiar with (vs learning a new program). And Heather also provides some rentals if you want to add more to your decor, which was also VERY helpful when we needed more candles and stands. Heather is professional, calm, and assertive. She knows what needs to be done to help make your day run smoothly and is a team player with the vendors and venue. For reference, our wedding was in Riverside, a church ceremony, 8 people in the wedding party, 120 guests, ~10 vendors, plated meals, and a hotel venue reception. We had a couple funky additions in the night which made the reception feel nontraditional, but Heather handled them like it was normal. We haven't received official pictures yet, but when we do, I hope to update this review so any new potential clients can see her magic. Thanks again!!

    WOW - where do I start? I've been waiting to give Lisa my review until I could post my wedding…read morephotos too, but believe me -- I have not stopped thinking about what magic she created for my wedding day! Let me say first that I was such a scrappy DIY bride, so I was really looking for a day-of coordinator I could trust. I did many calls with other coordinators and I was looking out for folx who really pressure you to have a cookie cutter wedding and play into the wedding industry. Lisa was not like that at all, she felt like one of my friends and was totally on board with working with the blank canvas of my venue. She was so easy to work with and made me feel really confident the day-of. She was hands down the best money spent from all my vendors at my wedding. Examples of Lisa's magic: - She was a serious partner in crime! I come from a background of event planning myself, so I recognized that I was a bit of a hyper detailed and logistically obsessed bride. I literally had made my production schedule before I had even met with her! This type of thing would normally irritate the hell out of an event coordinator, but honestly Lisa just felt like someone who was my partner. She saw what I had created and helped me build off of what I got started and she just made me feel like I wasn't in it alone anymore. - She would go above and beyond! We had a mix-up with our cocktail hour where our caterer came in and left some of the food on the side where it wasn't easily found. Lisa and her assistant jumped in immediately once she saw the need. She straight up started serving our hor d'orves to all of our guests so that the food we spent good money on wouldn't be hidden in the corner. - She handled extra coordination with ease! We had a mariachi parade and a shuttle coming in and out of our venue. She was able to coordinate all of this seamlessly with her assistant. I was worried about the coordination of our shuttle in particular- and without a single worry my guests were coming in and speaking so highly of the amazing coordination of the entire day. These are just a few examples of how amazing Lisa is. So do yourself a favor and give her a call for your special day. This wedding was delayed and changed several times due to the lingering effects of COVID, and with each audible called, Lisa was not only able to adapt, but to flow with the change, keeping the Bride & Groom's wishes in mind, offering calm and supportive ideas throughout the process to ensure their dream wedding came true. Lisa offered attentive communication to her clients and the guests of a wedding, while utilizing a kind but firm approach to vendors, suppliers, and other associates in order to create the most beautiful moments to be cherished by the wedding party and the guests. The day of the wedding could not have gone more smooth. The Bride & Groom, the wedding party, the guests, were all cared for and treated with respect and courtesy. There was never any worry, about anything because "We got Lisa!" The day of ceremony breakfast, the pre wedding details of prep, guest management, and support for anything requested by/for the Bride & Groom, the ceremony, the dinner after, and the night time celebration could not have been more beautiful, serene, or better executed. Lisa also found ways to take initiative and offer thoughtful gifts or words to those in the wedding party. The last piece I need to share, is Lisa treated everyone with kindness and respect. The staff at the venue was eager and willing to help with any items requested, the servers at various restaurants could not have offered any better service.. Lisa has an incredible gift to love others up, which they in turn pass along to those they serve. Lisa is organized, more then capable, professional, an attentive listener, and will become family after working with her on YOUR wedding or event. They were so warm and friendly and made me feel so comfortable. They let me and my party walk around and choose wedding dresses. I can't remember the name of the girl who helped me but she was very patient and helped me narrow down my choices. She never once pushed or pressured me. I enjoyed having a whole area to ourselves. They gave us all champagne and made us all feel celebrated and special. It was so special, I still remember it so vividly. 10 years later, I walked in with my 4 year old daughter. She wanted to see where I got my wedding dress. I told them I shopped there before and my daughter just wanted to look at the dress near the door. They greeted us warmly and invited us to look around! I was shocked they did that. After a while, the girl came by to check on us. She asked my daughter who her favorite Disney princess is and then showed her to all the Disney princess inspired dresses. She pulled out the Jasmine one for her to see. My daughter was so excited! Honestly, they did not need to do all that nor did I ever expect it. They made a little girls day so special that day. It just goes to show that even 10 years later they still have amazing customer service. And I'm glad this is where I picked my dress. I would highly recommend this bridal shop to any bides-to-be.

Linsey was assigned as our wedding coordinator through the vendor package at the venue and it was truly the stars aligning rather than luck. Linsey did an incredible job. She took time ahead of the event to get to know us, the other big players(photographers, DJ, our wedding party) which resulted in everything going perfectly throughout the evening. So many of our guests have told us it is the best wedding they have ever been to, and a lot of that credit is due to Linsey. She thought of literally everything. Her ability to ensure us as the bride and groom were having the best time ever while still keeping everything running like a well oiled machine is something I can't wrap my head around. She is a natural in this space and has very much found her calling. Maybe Leah was secretly there too. If we had the opportunity to start over, I would not hesitate to get the full wedding coordination services of the Double Knot Twins. Our day would surely have been even more magical with their support through the entire process. No matter what level of coordination you need, Linsey and Leah should be your first choice. Our wedding at Luminarias in Monterey Park had over 280 guests plus live music, and we couldn't figure out how to make the best use of the space, but they had it completely under control. They went above and beyond on the wedding day: calming my nerves when hair and makeup ran late, making sure we had an uninterrupted dinner together, and even packing up all the extras for family to take home. Their professionalism, kindness, and thoughtfulness exceeded all expectations. Thanks to The Double Knot, we were able to be fully present and soak in every moment. We are forever grateful!
