Very friendly and straightforward. My son just got his first BMX bike and it was easy to get what we needed. They made adjustments to his bike and we were out of there in less than 20 minutes. read more

I went to Epic BMX yesterday because I needed help with a bike crank arm. I only needed one crank arm replaced, but before really looking it over, I was told the pedal was stripped, then that the crank arm was stripped as well. The shop tried to sell me both crank arms, then said the chain would not fit the new arms, so I would also need a new chain and another part. I was told the size was traditional, which made me question why so many extra parts were suddenly needed. When I asked if we could just replace the one broken arm, he kept saying the arms "wouldn't match." I had to keep asking for clarification before it became clear that he meant they would not match visually, not that they would not fit or function together. I was not worried about how it looked -- I just needed the bike to work. Then I was told the other arm was bent and that everything should be replaced. The quote was $120 just for the crank arms. After checking online, traditional-size crank arms were around $20. I understand shops need to mark up parts and charge for labor, but this felt excessive and like I was being sold parts I did not actually need. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back. This could have been a chance to earn a long-term customer, but the experience left me feeling taken advantage of. read more

Excellent service and attention to customer service. Great job on getting my bike set up properly.

Epic is amazing love to support small business. Well worth the drive from my house in Corona to come see these guys for what I need.

The best bike store and service in Southern CA .... Shopping experience comes complete with comedy show

They do great work, even teach my son how to work his bike! Efficient and good vibes.

Amazing food would recommend. Very fresh fish caught in the morning in before opening. Cut and cleaned in front of me. Noodles cooked perfectly and cucumber is very fresh. read more

Epic Bike Shop should rename itself Epic Online Presence, because the friendly, welcoming vibe they advertise in videos does not exist inside the shop. As a new customer, I made the mistake of walking in expecting basic courtesy. Instead, I was met with a snobby, dismissive attitude that clearly starts at the top. The Asian owner sets the tone, and that tone is: if you're not already an expert, you're an inconvenience. The disconnect between their marketing and reality is impressive. Their videos go out of their way to look inclusive and helpful, while real-life interactions feel condescending and rude. Even asking for something as basic as a receipt felt like I was committing a personal offense. If you already know everything about bikes and just need to grab something and leave, you might be fine. But if you're new, curious, or expecting normal customer service, don't believe the videos. The attitude is real, and it's not friendly, a total fake. Great bikes. Great videos. Terrible vibe. Clear leadership problem. read more

Awesome shop, full of knowledge and highly recommended for any of your bike needs! The staff was super friendly and able to help me get the parts I needed for my old school BMX build. In my 50s. Went there to get a bike to ride around with my kids. 99% sure I wanted a 20" BMX like when I was younger. WOW too small. They let me try two 24" BMX which was better, then I tried a 26" BMX. WOW the sweet spot, just like I remembered it. The bike was full Chrome too! So the lesson learned is try the bike in person! Just like shoes, it needs to feel right. I tried 6 bikes and found the one. Also helped that the folks at this shop have many years of experience to fit you. Prices were pretty much online pricing, which is good! read more

Phu and his team are the absolute best! The fact that it's a family business is icing on the cake. His daughter was patient with us as we asked tons of questions regarding the right bike for our 4 year old. Phu worked with our son to help get him comfortable using his new bike as a balance bike first (he took the pedals off). About a month later we came back to get the pedals put back on. Phu spent the time to guide my son on how to get the bike moving and get his feet on the pedals. Within 30 minutes my son was riding a two wheeler on his own. Thank you Phu for your patience and guidance. We will for sure be back when our daughter is ready for a bike and once our son outgrows his! read more

The adrenaline starts to flow! You're thrashing all around, acting like a maniac! Whiplash! Beautiful to see a shop dedicated to off-road recreation, racing and freestyle cycling. Being a long time and still an avid westside rider, this shop covers all my needs when I need to replace or just looking for new BMX gear as well as a new sweet ride. The shop is small but loaded with all the merch you'll need to modify or enhance your ride. The bike selection is nice with all the eye candy in sight you'll want to pick up all the rides on display. Customer service was spot on from the time I called over the phone asking for my specific needs and when I waltz through the glass door. All the employees were very informative and gave me great recommendations on what I wanted to do with my ride. Great experience in and out the door. And that's my take on this bike shop. Peace... read more

Stopped in for the first time today... guys out front helping customers were friendly on my way in. Get up to the counter and guy working had crappy attitude and didn't seem to want to help once he knew I was only looking for small part for my bike. They didn't have exactly what I needed so no biggie thanked the guy and asked if I could trouble him to put some air in my tire I had brought in. Instead of turning around to grab the free air hose behind him he slowly walks to the back and comes back with a manual pump. To the owner didn't catch the employees name but dude is a TOOL I'm sure you know who he is and good workers are hard to find but u would honestly be better off without this employee. Maybe I'll give u guys another chance in the future. Def a bummer since your my local shop in the city read more

I was into BMX when I was a kid. That was a long time past. I Got My girlfriends daughter an old school BMX second hand that needed a lot of love and attention. Yelp led me to Epic BMX. Figured it was just another small mom and pop kinda place. Sure a Mom and Pop place on steroids! They answered my questions and did a great job on the bike! The place was pretty busy, lots of staff, customers, BMX enthusiast/loitering about ( j/k). And then there's the owner, I believe his name is Phu ...... he's the one that sets the tone with his energy, enthusiasm, and knowledge. The dude got me so pumped up I even went out and picked up a BMX bike for myself lol. In short...."Epic BMX" is where you go, if you know bMX..... lol. read more

This shop is friendly, family-owned, and filled with knowledgeable people. I couldn't say enough positive things about the people who make up this store and how they treat their customers. They really wanna see you happy with what you are buying, and to me that makes all the difference. Just a huge shoutout to the best BMX shop in California. I came in here with a broken spoke and a sheared nipple fully expecting to leave the wheel for at least a week to get fixed. Ethan immediately hooked it up, fixed the wheel within 10 min and even gave me some anodized blue valve caps because he thought they would look cool on my bike. Dude is one of the best Street riders out right now and just a solid, nice dude. It speaks volumes for the shop. This wasn't a one off experience, it's like this any time you come in here. No pretentiousness, no BS, just helpful people that run a great business and care about their customers. read more

Went looking for a certain bike in a certain color for my son. They had other colors available but had just sold out on the one & only color my son wanted. The lovely lady at the counter got on her phone & tracked down the very last one... BUT it was at a complete different shop that had absolutely no ties to her business!! WOW!!! Now that's customer service!! I left, bought the bike at the other place, and immediately came back to her shop and purchased 4 pegs + install as a small token of my appreciation. I went in today indecisive between a dirt jumper or a BMX style bike. Ethan and Jesus were so helpful with helping me make a decision. They were kind, patient, and answered all my questions. I asked for a lot. I had them take out like 5 bikes for me to try and they genuinely seemed happy to do it. Most bike shops give off a stand-offish feel but these dudes were rad; they welcomed me immediately. I actually purchased my first ever FIT BMX bike here 16yrs ago.
