Surprised my boyfriend with a flight with David out of Livermore. It was an amazing experience and one that won't be topped anytime soon. Highly recommend booking a flight - we did the "First Flight - The Aviation Adventure" and it was SO cool!

What a blast! My children and I took a tour over the Bay with Epic Aer. David our pilot was a pleasure to meet. He was wonderful to my two boys. Kind, fun and very professional. David explained to us all that was needed to know regarding our flight. Communication was clear and timely. We flew over San Francisco around 5pm. The weather and the sunset light were wonderful. We were able to see the many beautiful places San Francisco has to offer. Golden Gate, Bay Bridge, Alcatraz, Palace of Fine Art and more. David flew over the Golden Gate at 45 degrees. Seeing the city from a plane at that angle is something that I recommend to experience. My two sons and I had a really good time. I highly recommend this tour with Epic!!

I booked my Wife and I a flight for our anniversary, but unfortunately our pilot got sick and we had to reschedule to our actual anniversary weekend. Our pilot David was awesome! He was funny and very easy going. Immediately felt comfortable around him. The tour was amazing! Had no idea how beautiful the Bay Area was until I saw it from above. We flew a few times over the Golden Gate Bridge, and came back to San Carlos along the cost. That was unforgettable, and I am definitely coming back!

Amazing ride! The pilot was very friendly, and the ride was truly breathtaking. We first went down the coast near half moon bay, and then flew over the golden gate bridge, alcatraz, and the city downtown. For each of those last three spots, he did two spins around, giving you plenty of time for great pictures and appreciating the amazing view read more

My husband surprised me with a tour booked through Epic Aer. Glen was going to be our pilot. The morning of our tour Glen texted my husband and said that the plane needed maintenance and our booked tour would need to be reschedule or a refund could be issued. Since we live 5 hours away and we were there for the weekend, we chose the refund. My husband asked how long till the money hit our account. Glen said about 4 days. It has been 11 days and no refund. We texted Glen for a follow up and he responded that he would have to investigate. That was three days ago. We have called and texted and no response. The lack of communication is extremely frustrating, and the $600 that has not been returned is upsetting. read more

What a blast! My children and I took a tour over the Bay with Epic Aer. David our pilot was a pleasure to meet. He was wonderful to my two boys. Kind, fun and very professional. Celebrated my wife's 50th birthday with a tour over the Bay. Epic Aer made it easy to book and did a great job keeping us informed on weather and travel related items. We did a 7pm flight which caught the sunset and the night lights of the city/bridges. I highly recommend asking for Dave as the pilot. He made us feel extremely comfortable which was important since this was our first time in a plane this size. He was also a great guide for our trip. Truly an experience we will not forget. Our 1-hour tour of the bay area was an 18th birthday present for our flight simulator loving son. We had a great time with Glen, who let my son fly a good portion of the hour wherever we wanted to go. If you ever wanted a quick getaway, book one of their tours and you're guaranteed to have an amazing time. The pilot was professional and highly knowledgeable of the areas. HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking a tour with Epic Aer. In my opinion, there wasn't a single thing this company should change. I could not ask for better. The whole process from start to finish was flawless. I purchased a flight over the city for my boyfriend's birthday, and he was all smiles. He said it greatly exceeded his expectations, and we both really enjoyed the experience. I really can't recommend it enough. We booked online with Glen, who was very quick to respond and accommodating. The night before our reservation, our pilot, David, texted me to introduce himself. Meeting at the airport was straightforward and everything went smoothly. David was just a pleasure to be around. He was knowledgeable, experienced, safe, etc. etc. You could tell he enjoyed flying, and he really wanted us to have an experience worth remembering. Both my boyfriend and I actually walked away wanting to work towards our private pilot license someday (ideally with David as our instructor!!) If you're second guessing the experience, don't! It's absolutely the most amazing experience that I've ever had. I barely write Yelp reviews but need to give Epic Aer a 5 stars for their professional and excellent service. I saw the tour on Viator but glad we checked out their website as they offered 30% off there. So about $130/person if you book on their website. Guys, seriously no one can beat that service at such a reasonable price. The airplane is clean and modern with comfortable seats. We came to Palo Alto Airport 10 mins earlier but the pilot was already waiting there. He is experienced, super friendly and vaccinated. The tour was about 45 mins, so fantastic to see the city from the above. We flew over Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Coin Tower, etc and took hundreds of photos lol! I also purchased a gift card for my newly wedded friends as a Wedding gift. I'm sure they'll have unforgettable memory together. If you are looking for a fun activity to do in the Bay Area, I highly recommend to try this SF Bay air tour. It's a once in a life time experience and worths every penny! read more

ADDITION ------ 06-13-2013 Okay.....(sigh), our daughter, " just isn't very interested in flying." Sure, go ahead and break your father's heart. However, her littler brother is showing interest! Out to Red Sky to give our son an Introduction Flight! At Red Sky Aviation, we met our Certified Flight Instructor Pete. Pete understood we didn't just want to go for an airplane ride; we wanted to get our son excited about flying. Pete put the focus on our son and included him in the preflight process; explaining why we check the aircraft for safety. Our son is little - Pete got cushions and positioned him so he could control the plane and increase his visibility. Our son is shy. However, Pete was able to get past that and had our son control the aircraft during take off and flying. After the flight, our son had a Big Smile across his face. If Pete can get a shy boy to smile; he can get you to be happy you went to Red Sky Aviation. ADDITION ------ 10-26-2013 I haven't flown since 1980 but, wanted to find out if there was still enough of the Pilot in me to get back up there. I have this dream - my son and I go flying together and when he is older; gets his Pilot's License too. I went back to Red Sky Aviation and explained this to Pete. I may have a dream but, a Certified Flight Instructor is biased in reality. In in the cockpit, Pete handed me the checklist and observed as I slowly fumbled my through it. He didn't rush me but, guided me from time to time by diplomatically pointing to where I should be looking on the instrument panel. He let me taxi out to the run-up area, do the run-up and proceed to take off. I was surprised how much I still remembered and intuitively knew when to trim, check for traffic/airspeed/altitude and more. Yes, I was very rusty after 33 years. However, with Pete nudging me with positive comments was able to do 3 touch and goes. Now, do I think Pete can walk on water; well no.....but, if my wife and I have another baby boy, we are going to name him Pete.

She's the best! If you love the sound of a WWII high performance engine, love speed and appreciate the 20 year old pilots who flew these magnificent machines during a war, the P-51 is a plane to experience. Drove to the Schellville airport on Mother's Day for my ride. Travis pulled the P-51 from it's hanger, went through it's extensive pre-flight check and fueled her up. At this point, my heart was pounding with excitement and anticipation of a ride in a P-51! I told Travis I was also taking another P-51 crew with us that day, he had a quizzed look. My mother's deceased husband was stationed in England during WWII and was assigned to a P-51 squadron as an armourer (loaded 50 cal ammo and fueled the planes for their next flight). Found a picture of Mick, the pilot, mechanic, crew chief all standing beside their assigned P-51, the GlenGaryGuy. Pilot had his wife's name "Jackie" on the other side. They all got to go for one more ride! Chris Prevost, the pilot, asked where I wanted to go? I'd done the Golden Gate Bridge, out over Marin County to Tomales Bay and back in the Texan. Chris had a suggestion - Schellville to Lake Berryessa and over into the San Joaquin Valley, up along the Vaca Range to Middletown, over to Santa Rosa, out to Bodega Bay, Tomales Bay and down to Mill Valley and Mt Tam with a ride down Miller Ave, out to the Golden Gate Bridge and back to Schellville - heck yeah, sign me up!! Travis gave me instructions on how to climb onto the plane and into the rear seat, tight but comfortable and buckled in. Thank goodness I had a hat. I'm 6'1" and just barely had head room (though I was too excited to care). Chris brought the Merlin V-1650 to life and we taxied down to the end of the runway, brought the oil temp up, closed the canopy and we rolled down the runway - full speed ahead. Pulled back and up we went - what a rush! Travis had taken my wife to a point where she could record the whole liftoff - yeah! My adrenaline rush was in high gear! I immediately thought of the young pilots who risked their lives for our freedom; here I was just on a joy ride in a plane they flew in actual combat or escorting bombers - kind of surreal. Great sidebar to the flight was being actually being able to see the devastation from all of the fires from Lake Berryessa all the way too Middletown - scorched earth. Bodega Bay to the mouth of Tomales Bay gives a real perspective how beautiful our coastal area is. Chris did a couple of sharp turns, the P-51 cut the sky like a sharp knife. I kept the headsets halfway on, wanted to "hear" the roar of the P-51's engine. Down to Mill Valley, lined up on Miller Ave and out we went to the Golden Gate Bridge. What a day! I guess I should end my story, though writing about flying in the Mustang brings back all the fun I enjoyed that day. Travis and my wife had been monitoring our flight and were ready for our landing. Again, Travis set my wife up in a location to capture the event. Thanks again to Vintage Aircraft, Chris, Travis and my wife for an epic day of flying in a P-51 Mustang.

It was a tough year when she started kindergarten but LPS did an amazing job providing a nurturing and navigating through all the complexities due to COVID. I can't thank them all enough for everything they've done. We also have two little girls both in LPS in teach Sara's class and with Teacher Kathy and Becky! Our girls LOVE LPS. The staff has been there for 20+ years and even teacher Evelyn who retired comes back every now and then to help out when needed. She does this because she loves the kiddos. Robyn is now the Director which is fantastic she's been a teacher for many years and has always communicated effortlessly. Our kids love all the teachers but they absolutely adore teacher Stacey. We had our baby enrolled here as an infant and left before she turned 2. I would give 4 stars for…read morethe infant room, but knocking off one for the toddler classroom. The infant room was good, mostly because our baby had an excellent primary caregiver who communicated with us regularly and knew what she was doing (that teacher has since left). However, once we transitioned into the toddler room things really seemed to go downhill. Communication was poor, and we found out by accident that our daughter was being moved into different classrooms throughout the day before her transition date (not ok!). Staff turnover was crazy high, both with teachers and administrators (3 directors in less than two years!). Many of the teachers we liked and who seemed to genuinely care for our child left after only a brief time working there. There doesn't seem to be a lot of investment in hiring, training, and keeping capable staff. I was also alarmed to see that Lily of the Valley has been reported several times to the state or they have failed inspections for being out of ratio. For not having been open that long they've been in trouble a lot. One more thing of note was this center's reliance on tablets and screens in the classroom. I was upset to learn that every single day the toddlers were watching screens and the adults in the room weren't reading books out loud, just using an iPad and a Bluetooth speaker with a video playing. I complained and was told that they changed this practice, but when we were given paperwork for renewing enrollment, there was a consent form for my TWO YEAR OLD to use the internet and tablet unsupervised. So I think that's just the way they do things. I had really high hopes for Lily of the Valley. We've moved on to another preschool, but I hope they can turn things around so people don't keep leaving. The infant care was good though.

Today I had the opportunity to go up with Epic Aer on a Bay Tour of the City of San Francisco, San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge and Half Moon Bay. We flew an incredible Cirrus SR22 with our instructor and Pilot David. This was an awesome adventure. Pilot in Command David was extremely professional, gave us an introduction to the Cirrus SR22, flight controls and aircraft operation. We then took off out of the San Carlos Airport, transitioned to the west of Highway 101 and through the departing flights at SFO. The views and flight were magnificent. By far this is the best priced, professional Bay Tour I have experienced. Highly recommend this company and we hope you are as fortunate to get David as your tour guide. David is a true professional. We had a wonderful experience with Epic Aer. My son Robert is 9 years old and wanted to go on an airplane fight for 9th birthday instead of a birthday party. I was really worried and concerned about going in a small plane however, Dave the pilot was awesome. If I could give more than five stars, I would. If you're thinking of going on a flight over San Francisco bay I would highly recommend this company, Dave, the pilot let my nine-year-old son fly the plane and help land it. I was really uncomfortable in the beginning until we met Dave the pilot. We got to see the Golden Gate Bridge, the city of San Francisco the Fairlawn islands. two F16 fighter planes flying in the sky with us and Alcatraz Island. I was initially hesitant to book an aerial tour with Epic Aer but decided to take the risk and I'm definitely glad I did! The experience was very smooth, before we even arrived I got a text confirming our date and time, and they even asked if I wanted to move my flight back a little bit to catch the sunset. When we arrived at the airport we were greeted swiftly and pretty much went straight to the plane and got on. Our pilot Eric was really great, he gave us some basic information about what to expect on our flight and we took off! I had a great experience flying around the bay, we went right at sunset which I would recommend. We had an amazing experience! Our pilot, David, was very communicative leading up to the tour and was super accommodating during our flight when it came to our flight path. We flew up the SF Bay passing Oakland and the Bay Bridge. We then flew a few rounds over the Golden Gate Bridge and David made sure to give both sides of the plane the same views. We then flew over Alcatraz and took a quick tour over San Francisco seeing Pier 39 and the Palace of Fine Arts. The weather was perfect for our flight and it was pretty cool to see the fog roll into the Bay. It was an amazing experience to be up close and personal to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Great experience! My boyfriend made a reservation for him and I for my birthday and it was a beautiful time! Epic Aer contacted us and would keep us updated if our flight needed to be rescheduled due to weather. Our flight was rescheduled once which made us sad but it was sooo worth the wait! We went on a 8pm flight and saw a breathtaking sunset! Our pilot was very nice and informative the whole time as well! A night tour around San Francisco was a great way to spend my 21st birthday! I booked the tour for three passengers and we all fit comfortably. Each passenger had their own window with a clear view. The view of the Bay Bridge and Alcatraz were my personal favorites. I would definitely recommend booking during the holidays, we saw many houses and buildings decorated with Christmas lights. We flew with Pilot Dave yesterday afternoon from Half Moon Bay up to the Golden Gate and around. Dave was terrific - first introducing us to his plane and what to expect. He gave us an incredibly smooth flight and was so cool to fly us over our house in Moss Beach making sure that we saw it! He was great pointing out different points along the coastline.
