The phone agent Thiago I spoke to was very understanding and accommodating when I got stuck in weekend SF traffic. Thiago also went above and beyond to communicate with the pilot, who was willing to reschedule my flight to a better time. Shoutout to the pilot Sebastian for being a good sport and for conducting a splendid, safe aerial tour of San Francisco!

We had the BEST experience with Andrew and Specialized Aviation! They were extremely communicative and accommodating with scheduling and logistics. Andrew was an AMAZING pilot. He walked us through every steps and calmed any of our nerves. Once we got in the air, we had zero nerves - we had a blast. Andrew is a great SF tour guide even for people who live here, you can tell he really enjoys what he does. We had an unbelievable evening and will definitely be back! Thank you Andrew and Specialized Aviation!

I highly recommend the 60 minute San Francisco photo tour!! We rode with the windows off and were able to capture some insane shots. We had a fantastic pilot named Benjamin who made sure we got all the shots we wanted. He even tried to get to and from the city as quickly as possible so we could spend a majority of the 60 minute tour taking photos like the ones below. Can't wait to fly again @noahfrenchmustard

The entire staff was amazing, from our first call with Andi, the payment process with Sierra and especially amazing with our pilot Andrew!

I flew with FlyNYON June 2017 in New York City. The coolest 15 mins ever! flying over Manhattan in…read morea helicopter , doors off , feet hanging out and enjoying the view. Everything was great from start to finish from service to experience . So much so, I decided to buy SIX 'buy now schedule later' tickets to give as gifts and for myself back home in the Bay Area since I learned they fly in San Francisco too (approx $3100 in flight credit ). Thinking I'd have the same experience in SF. March 11, a FlyNYON helicopter crashes in the East River in New York City killing 5 passengers who could not get out of their safety harness. Articles blame the company for not addressing the safety issue with their harnesses and other speculated issues with the FAA. Tons of people who had purchased tickets already requested refunds for various reasons (articles explained the FAA was no longer allowing these types of doors off / feet hanging off flights) . Although it was a very tragic event , i decided not to demand a refund like so many others since it's not the same experience I initially purchased for. I still wanted to use my tickets after the air was clear and they made the necessary changes to insure safety. May 28, 2018 I decided to use two of my tickets for the San Francisco Classic Experience scheduled for June 1 @ 6:35pm. I booked this flight online and it was fairly simple . I received a confirmation email. I was going to fly and see how it was before giving my parents and sisters their tickets to fly next week as a gift . On the evening of May 31,2018 I received an email from FlyNYON stating the minimum seat requirement has not been met for my booked flight (3 seats need to be booked) . If the minimum isn't met they will reschedule it for the next available flight . They were going to update me the next day. On June 1, 2018 (flight time 6:35), at 12:12pm I received a call from a New Jersey number which was FlyNYON explaining the minimum seat requirement still hasn't been met but I could purchase the 3rd seat at full price or reschedule for the next day. Today was the only day I could go and I thought that was ridiculous paying full price for an empty seat. Especially since two days before there was a 40% Memorial Day sale. I offered to buy the 3rd seat at the 40% off price which they granted. At 3:00pm, I received another call from FlyNYON explaining due to Temporary Fly Restrictions (TFR) from the SF Giants game , the flight time has been moved to 6:00pm instead of 6:35pm. This would allow some fly time before the restriction take effect. Although I had to make some adjustments to be there by then, I said that would be fine . At 3:23pm, I received ANOTHER call from FlyNYON explaining due to Temporary Fly Restrictions (TFR) from the giants game, the flight had to be CANCELLED all together because of the TFR until Wednesday. Umm what?! y'all didn't mention this earlier ?! Why couldn't y'all of mentioned this earlier ?! I just got off the phone with y'all 23 mins earlier! Shouldn't y'all of known there was a giants game before accepting my booking ?! I explained how dissatisfied / frustrated I was with the entire process and the best thing the rep said they could do is refund my credit. Well I'd hope they would refund me my credit. I explained I will not be flying with FlyNYON again be attempting to get my money back from ALL my credit . I would HATE to give my FlyNYON flight credit to a family member as a gift (intended purposes) and have them go through this headache of a process. She explained I'd have to email someone requesting that and would send me an email with all her information . Still have yet to received the email she said she would send me. FLYNYON YOU LOST A GOOD / RETURNING CUSTOMER !

This experience has been an odd one with these guys…read more.. My friend bought us tickets/passes/whatever you wanna call it when they were having one of their sales. "Buy now schedule later" type of deal. There was an issue with the upgrade and he went on the online chat and talked to Vincent, who was very helpful and was able to upgrade us to the sunset flight. Our flight was supposed to take place yesterday. However, my friend got a message from the company stating that they had to cancel our flight because they were using the helicopters for the fires. Now, I am grateful that we got about 48 hours notice (unlike some people), but aren't the fires under control by now? Not to be insensitive at all to the people going through the fires, but I feel like the company should have known about this more than 48 hours ago. I was also grateful for the rep my friend talked to who said we could reschedule or get a refund. We decided to get a refund since hearing all the reviews, this company seems to be unpredictable. Maybe we will try again with FlyNYON, or maybe we will pay a little more for quality and go with someone else in the future.

Here is the rundown:…read more They do not confirm your seats until 3 days prior but they take payment. Don't you find this bizarre? I don't understand why they cannot confirm at the time of booking. You are picked up at a designated hotel (not your hotel) and then two additional stops at two other hotels to pickup additional passengers. Then the shuttle drives you to the airport. You watch a very outdated video on safety. Then 6 of you are jammed into a helicopter plus the pilot. If you are bigger you will be uncomfortable and if you are smaller you will be uncomfortable because of the bigger people. The pilot does a 15-20 minute tour that goes over the bay, golden gate bridge and Alcatraz and then you land in Sausalito where the shuttle meets you to take you back. I could not understand the pilot AT ALL. I had no idea what he was saying during the entire tour. In total it takes about 2 hours and is $215 per person. Is it worth it? Yes if you book with a different helicopter touring company. This was a bottom budget tour.

Read the red flags and don't ignore them…read more First and foremost the Instructors are professionals and really do care about the quality of training HOWEVER, as soon as they reach their 1500 hour milestone expect them to leave This happened to me 3 times and I don't blame them they want to reach their goals as much as you want to. Red flag 1 Student to instructor ratio It was challenging for me to keep a consistent training schedule when an instructor has more students than they can handle although they try their best to manage but from the student's perspective it can be infuriating when you want to keep a constant schedule and the instructor isn't unavailable due to his many students I tried to manage but it couldn't work out. Red flag 2 "You're still not ready" (69.2 hours later) This may sound biased but when 4 pilots say you are ready to solo based on performance and knowledge you would think you are ready. Now I have no quarrel with any instructor because in the end they are being told what to do and how to do it. I come from a background with Aviation Safety; currently employed by an airline at SFO and I work closely with well seasoned pilots so I can understand if there are a few corrections needed to be made in order to solo but if its been little over a year of some-what consistent training and almost no progression and with lesson rates increasing more than once due miscellaneous reasons, this could cause frustration. Beige Flag Summer Upwind Program Summertime here in the SF Bay Area provides a phenomenal weather for flight training. You would think there would be a wide selection of free time to train. Unfortunately that wasn't always the case due to the Summer Upwind Program for High School students to obtain their Private Pilot's License during the summer. Now, before I continue this is all observed from my perspective. I am all for youth to excel in their young careers but should that be prioritized? While they are occupied for the summer and have attention from CFI's what about the students who are paying? Personally, there should be a mutual balance. I support this program but it felt congested with the amount of students struggling to reach the same goal especially to those who are paying. Final Thoughts I do not blame the CFI's or the Chief CFI because in the end of the day someone else is telling them what to do, but I do feel there should be some accountability to the owner. Based from former CFI's and colleagues who are now airline pilots, it used to be about a passion to provide quality training to aspiring pilots, but it became more about money. Apparently this owner is also fairly new according to said airline pilots. It is a shame it took me almost 2 years to catch on to this. Could it have been a different experience? Perhaps However, the fundamentals from the instructors were phenomenal and business aside they were passionate about their craft and are truly proud on creating the next generation of aviators. I wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors but I do wish the school shifts its focus to how they once were. My new advice to individuals seeking guidance "As soon as the school starts asking for more money, time to find a new school" Airline Captains agree when it starts to become about money, the passion is gone be better
