PFC has been an awesome environment for my flight training endeavor. I started my training 3.5 years ago initially and was almost near the checkride stage but had to take a break due to personal reasons. I restarted my training this in March 2021 and completed my Checkride in September earning my Private Pilot Certificate. Mohamed was my instructor all along. He worked with me to see it thru. Despite my breaks he didn't pass me off to another instructor in his school. The one thing I appreciate the most with Mohamed is he is sensitive to his students' financial situation. His training methods are concise. The first time I soloed with 30 hours of training time and I have completed all my PPL requirements within 45 hours. I have heard of students in other schools/instructors who haven't soloed after 60 hours. The second time around I re soloed after 15 hours and my checkride was done within 45 flight hours of restarting my training. Mohamed does not drag along the training by taking you to different airports and sight seeing. Each lesson is focussed on mastering a skill. I am not good with studying from books and I grasp better with in person instruction. Mohamed tailored my training according to this for ground lessons and my written test preparation as well as checkride oral prep. In terms of school, PFC maintains a high quality fleet, a clean, elegant and spacious office space with large conference rooms and an atmosphere conducive to learning. Instructors and other students hang out in the office which is useful to have spontaneous aviation related discussions or even have some of your doubts clarified in casual conversations. PFC also has a number of highly experienced instructors, a variety of simulators for all levels of training and awesome packages for cost effective training. All-in-all, I would (and have been) recommend (ing) PFC as the best place to train in the bay area whether you want to get your private, instrument, commercial or CFI certification. read more

I did my instrument and commercial training here at PFC, no monthly fees, commpetitive prices and well maintained fleet of C172s, C152s, Pipers and Diamond. PFC also has simulators which can be used towards certain ratings and don't cost as much as renting an airplane. Instructors are friendly, professional and honest.
