I hadn't called ahead but for a simple tire and tune replacement it was an easy visit. It was a tad busy on a Saturday afternoon but everyone was taken care of promptly. As a walk-in I didn't expect same day service and was prepared to leave my bike for the day, but I got lucky. They offered free water bottle in the mini fridge while I waited for my bicycle to be serviced. The bathroom was clean. There's plenty of inventory of various bikes and accessories. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Parking lot is a good size. I'll be back!

He walked me through the Trek Checkpoint's features, took time to answer all my (many) questions, and made the buying process simple and pressure-free. What sealed the deal was that Mike worked with me on price and made sure the Checkpoint was the best fit for my riding style, needs, and budget - he personally helped to adjust the gears, added fresh sealant, and swap the saddle and pedals to my own personal set! I've also stopped by a few times after my purchase to pick up a few things every now and then and each visit I have, I'm met with so much kindness and support from all of the Trek Livermore staff! I was missing exactly one screw for my SPD pedals, and when I asked one of the busy mechanics, they dropped everything and found a replacement screw for free! After 15 years of buying bikes, this is easily one of the best shop experiences I've had. Highly recommend!

Here's how it went down. First off, this is not a brick and mortar bike rental shop. I sent a text to the phone # listed on Yelp and Robert texted and called me back to make arrangements regarding a time and place to meet up. Payment was made in person via Venmo, but other payment options were cash and whichever works best for you, just ask him; ($25 for each bike, all day rental). I was just looking to do some leisurely bike riding, not necessarily wine hopping, so he suggested riding the biking trail at Sycamore Grove Park. We met up at Independence Park's parking lot and he delivered two bikes, helmets, and a lock. We got to test out our bike and he brought more to choose from just in case it didn't work out. My bike had a basket which came in very handy. He rode with us from the parking lot to the entrance of Sycamore Grove Park (probably a 5 minute bike ride), which was very nice of him. From there, I loved my bike riding adventure that day! Sycamore Grove Park is the place for leisurely bike riding. I saw so many families, single riders, etc. riding their bikes. Some were pros and some were not, just like me, but I felt like I was at the right place for bike riding! People walking share the same trail. There was a winery right across the street from Sycamore Grove Park and many other wineries you can bike to, if you want to turn it into a bike for wine kind of day. Returning our bikes was hassle free, too. We just locked our bikes to the fence of Independence Park's parking lot and sent Robert a text to pick them up. We did not need to wait for him to arrive. It's a very safe looking park, so you don't have to worry about people stealing the bikes. I would rent from this company again and highly recommend it to others!

From tandems, to rickshaws, to old school beach cruisers, All Together Bikes has everything you could ever want - and great service to boot. We rented 20 bikes from Robert for my birthday bike riding event, and from start to finish he made sure that each person had a bike that fit them, we all knew how to ride (despite a learning curve or two), and that we all found our ways to the wineries. From discount coupons and maps to adjusting the bike seats for us - Robert covered it all. Again, if you want a fun day in Livermore Wine Country, and don't have a DD - this is your Golden Ticket my friend.

While the shop appears to excel in its core rental business--reflected in consistently positive customer reviews and a strong reputation for providing a smooth, enjoyable rental experience--the same level of performance does not seem to carry over to its sales and customer communication practices. In particular, the sales process felt less organized and attentive than expected. Communication around product availability, follow-up, and overall customer engagement could be improved to better match the high standard set by the rental side of the business. Clearer, more proactive communication and a more structured approach to sales would likely enhance customer confidence and satisfaction. Given the success of the rental operation, there is a strong foundation to build upon. I would suggest that by aligning the sales activity that has been primarily driven by the 2025/26 AVA rebate program to closely match what has been demonstrated in rentals would significantly strengthen the overall customer experience. In addition it appears based on investigation additional costs to consumers ( shipping and to some users higher assembly costs) were added when submitting a sales request via the AVA program. Based on these experiences I would not recommend using Pedego for the reminder of the 2026 AVA program.. I hope this constructive feedback is helpful and contributes to continued improvement.

Being right across the street from our neighborhood, we figured it was worth a visit--and we're so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, AJ welcomed us with enthusiasm and genuine positivity. His customer service has been exceptional throughout our entire bike-buying journey. He took the time to understand what we were looking for, let us test ride a road bike, and patiently answered all our questions. Then, he casually suggested we try out one of his electric mountain bikes, given the great trails in the area. We took him up on that offer--and wow, are we glad we did! That test ride completely changed our minds, and we quickly realized an e-mountain bike was the perfect fit for us. AJ is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and transparent. He spent hours helping us explore different options without ever making us feel pressured to buy. Unlike most bike shops that limit test rides to their parking lot, he let us fully experience both road and electric mountain bikes, which made all the difference in our decision. On top of that, he has been super responsive--even outside of business hours--via text, email, and social media. Thanks to AJ, we found the perfect bike that not only fit our needs but also came in well under budget without sacrificing quality. His passion for what he does shines through in every interaction, and his commitment to customer satisfaction is truly unmatched. Working with him has been an absolute breath of fresh air--you just don't find this level of service anywhere else. If you're considering buying a bike, do yourself a favor and visit AJ's Family Cyclery. Not only will you get expert guidance and outstanding service, but you'll also feel great about supporting a genuinely good person and his small business. He absolutely deserves all the success coming his way!

Alameda Bicycle on Park Street is a part of the community, and I feel so honored to spend my money here. Gene, George and Crew are unmatched in the Bay Area. They sell mid-price range bikes, so no $300 bikes or $14,000 bikes. I bought my first new bike here after graduating from Cal, and got my first Wall Street bonus, moons ago. It was my dream bike, a black Cannondale, top of the line. After that, got married and had children and Gene saw me through training wheels through teenage years, then sadly through a divorce. Back in a bike and climbing mountains - loving life! Anyway, today, after trying all night to get my chain back on my new e-bike (not possible on the road) I walked in and George was at the door. He sensed my frustration and said, "Come on in." It wasn't an easy fix. But they worked on it, two guys 25 minutes, and 5 tools. Meanwhile, I walked into the showroom to check out the bikes (tee hee hee). Then I noticed a new coffee and tea station with a couch and chairs, and Madeline cookies. It's just what I needed after a frustrating night and morning trying to fix it myself. Such a mindful and kind touch. People easily complain, so positive heartfelt reviews are gold. Alameda Bicycle is a solid community member and business. Honest. If I don't need something, George will say, "You don't need that." Last time, I picked up some gorgeous Ortlieb panniers (which they installed) and a fix-a-flat for on the road flats. I forgot it on the counter -- it was here waiting for me when I returned a few weeks later. They only had my old digits! BTW, I didn't eat the last Madeline cookie. I saved it for you! Come and get it -- and remember to support these incredible bike angels. Super, super Good Vibes. The absolute best Alameda bicycle shop -- to me.

The equipment is ideal for the area, with plenty off choices for more intense rides. The options for "trails" are urban for the local area, and north and south for the Wineries. We had a package deal that has a guide for the first day and on our own for the second day. Our guide, Taylor, was way cool. A local farmer/roadie/ San Fran local, with keen intel on the farming/bio-dynmic/ foodie/ family history. He clearly has a great history and relationship with the folks we stopped at and every bit was personable and flexible. He had an excellent read on the strength and weakness of the group. Overall, we did a gentle 20 miles on cushie bikes and drank a touch more wine then is good for willfully concurring the hills. We had a group of 6 and took a north loop that peaked at Quivira with the most spectacular bio-dynamic gardens. I mean bees, pigs, chickens and just the coolest raised beds I have ever seen. Seriously, I could happily retire and intern here. Our second day, was on our own on the southern route, me thinks just about 23 miles. My Aunt made it to Porter Creek (not on purpose) but I peaked at Thomas George Estate. We followed recommendations and lunched at Arista. Worthy!!! This is another heaven on Earth spot. It is not over rated. My only small complaint, on the second day (far beyond the control of the good folks at Wine County Bikes was the aggressive construction truck drivers. Mind you...there is a consistent "you're going to get hurt bad if you come off the road" with no clear bike lane. With that said the greater majority of cars, albeit fast, are very good about dealing with "tourist bike riders". Highly recommended!!!!!!
