I had a cracked phone screen needing replacement. I made an appointment on their website, which asked me for the phone make & model before allowing me to book the appointment. I gave the make and model a few times - once there, and once in my "additional comments". They booked the appointment and I got a confirmation text message. The day of my appointment I got another text to remind me of the appointment. I took off work early to go to the place and dealt with traffic, and when I got there, they said "Sorry we can't fix that kind of phone." I dropped my iPhone and even with a nice case, my front screen cracked and I was not able to hear any sound when making or receiving a phone call through the phone or ear piece. . :( I went in and and ask about replacing my screen and how it may have affected hearing my phone calls. I spoke to Moussad. He is probably one of the most honest business owners I have ever met. Moussad, could have charged me $69 to replace the front screen and put the phone back together without guaranteeing I would be able to hear the phone calls I make. He said, just go to Apple store. Pay the $150+ they will charge you to swap your phone out for a different one. "Do not waste paying me for work i can not guarantee". Honestly, great customer service! Even though I did not have work done here...but was willing to pay, I give the honesty and service 5 out of 5 because it just does not exist anymore. I walked in to the shop this morning, and I walked out less than 15 minutes later with a phone that looks like new! Ali, the proprietor, was friendly and quick, and we were even able to chat about Persian vs. Afghani cuisine while he worked. Got my iPad 2 Glass fixed here and it cracked in less than 7 days without dropping and just by using the iPad. Decided not to take it here the 2nd time and instead went to iFixer in Cupertino. They looked at the iPad and said "Did you open this iPad earlier?". I said "Yes, but it was opened by E Phone". They said they do not know this repair shop but they can tell from outside that the glass they used is very cheap quality Thin Glass that you can buy on ebay for less than $10. Another thing they said is the Glass is not flush to frame and is raising from the frame as they have used poor adhesive. I am waiting to get my iPad back from iFixer and will write a review for them after I get my iPad fixed by them. Created a account on yelp to write a review of the E Phone iPad quality. Brought my iPhone 5S 3 months ago for a broken screen. Cost me about $150 to have it fixed. After I brought it home I had some problems with the headset speaker distorting, could have been from dropping the phone but wasn't noticed. I brought it back and the girl opened the phone back up and we finally got the speaker working. No charge. Then I had another problem with the screen, I forget exactly what now. Brought it back again and she ended up giving me a whole new screen. No charge. A little while later I tried making a phone call and realized the sensor which keeps you from pressing buttons with your face while on a call wasn't working, and I kept hanging up on people. Unfortunately I couldn't bring the phone back right away since I was leaving to Europe for almost 3 weeks. Then I noticed the glue on this new screen was starting to separate. So I brought it back in again once I returned home, now about 3 months from the initial repair. The man that works there (who wasn't in before) said it was out of their 60 day warranty but he would sell me a new screen for cost. And he said this new screen was from a different supplier and should be a lot better. I ended up also having to replace the sensor and the speaker to solve all my problems. In the end he did all this at cost which I appreciated. It was annoying to have paid $150 only to have to redo the work 3 months later. But I realize they couldn't send the part back to the manufacturer at this point since 60 days had passed. Another $100 and my phone is as good as new. I tipped them $20 for the labor. So yes, it cost me $270 in 3 months to have my screen replaced twice but I can't put all that blame on them, they didn't come out far ahead through this whole thing and made sure I left as happy as I could. I appreciate their concern for their customers satisfaction. I'll be back if I need my phone fixed in the future and will tell my friends and family about it. I'll also just make sure to come back within the 60 days if I have any problems. read more

Service isn't bad but they are more pricey than another place I went to in Cupertino. $55 vs $39 for battery replacement. Not sure why I went here, convenience I guess. They also only take cash. They emailed me an invoice that said they replaced my screen but they replaced my battery. Now I'm wondering if they charged me for a screen replacement instead of a battery. I've emailed them three times asking them to correct the invoice but have yet to hear back. Ordinarily I wouldn't care but I am going to expense this and need the invoice to be correct. Open on Saturdays with many parts in stock. Cathy replaced my screen and helped me put a protective screen on my iPhone 5 in only a few minutes. The parts and labor came out to $90, which was way cheaper than most places. Usually parts alone would be around that much. Cathy was very knowledgeable about servicing these phones, so I was able to get a lot of helpful tips from her. I highly recommend this place. My recently purchased Samsung GS5 has been great, with one minor annoying issues - the microUSB charging port flap kept breaking off. Well, showed up inside their tiny shop, Kathy was serving other customers but made sure she acknowledged me (Can't say that for a lot of businesses!), a very good sign! When it was my turn, with her nice smiles and very friendly helpful manner, she told me that they don't have the parts yet, but immediately, she turned to her computer and helped me find on eBay and Amazon while continue to apologize not being able to help me. I said to her, "oh no, you've been great help!" And, if in the future, I have any parts need replaced, I'd come back for Kathy to help me out. My phone wasn't starting and I took it to some other near by repair shops and after a week they said the motherboard is dead and they cannot fix it instead tried to sell me another phone. I was sad and I didn't wanted to give up since I had important photos. I called this place and they said bring it in so we check it for diagnostic. I felt it won't hurt to try once again. I brought it here, and while I was waiting they were able to power it ON via a different battery but my phone was still not charging. They suggested me to backup my important datas via airdrop and they can send it for repair for $250. I was okay with price because my photos worth a lot. I backed up all my photos to my Macbook and asked them to repair it. Within seven days they called me back to pick up my working phone. Told me what was most likely wrong (which he verified as the case after opening up the phone), what it would cost to fix, why the phone was eating up battery life (thanks to Apple trying to get people to buy new phones) and how I should just get a new battery while the phone was open. He also came prepared to show me some used phones just in case the phone was not reparable (it was and is now working just fine). He also noted that the tempered glass cover had a small crack in it and that I shouldn't bother replacing it. In other words, did not try to sell me something I didn't need. I've been having issues with my IPhone 6s battery life. My options were to send it back to Apple for battery replacement and possibly not have my phone for 5 days, replace it myself through Amazon DIY kits or pay someone to replace it. I decided to see how much it cost at this shop. While it wasn't the cheapest option the replacement was immediate. I mean, the dude stated he could get it done in 10mins! I don't even think it took him that long.
