We had a fun time at EOS while passing through Santa Barbara. Really glad we made time to check it out. The lounge has 3 areas - a EDM side, a hip hop side and an outdoor patio area. There are bathrooms at both dj areas. There are also 2 bar areas. It was nice to be able to switch to another dj if we were feeling the music where we were. Female bartender on 3/11/26 was AWESOME! I think her name was Belle/Bella??? I'm pretty sure she mentioned the drinks on the menu tonight were created by her! She said we were birthday twins :). Came for a wedding after party here and it was really fun! It has an indoor and outdoor space, so it doesn't get too crowded. They close at 1:30 though. The music was a bit repetitive but that's just personal taste. read more

There aren't a lot of clubs in the Santa Barbara area, but I was able to find this one through my Yelp searching. I've had the craving for some good music, dancing and the club atmosphere recently and it was a no brainer when the tickets were free! My fiancé and I needed a chance in pace from our work routine, so we're came on a Thursday night, not expecting too many people, but it was a decent crowd. The place was poppin' once the buses from Isla Vista arrived. They have multiple areas with different vibes, and we spent the majority of our time on the outside patio or on the main dance floor. The space was very safe and clean and felt comfortable to someone with no intentions besides enjoying the music and dancing. Of course, it also courted to those that were there to "play the field". It's nice to know there's a club we can get in for free every week and have a good time. Would be nice if there was a bit more mature crowd that was our age, but maybe we'll try Friday night for that. read more

I hosted my brother's wedding after party here and it was the BEST experience ever! I worked with Shasta to rent out a private lounge with our own private bar, bathroom, and dedicated DJ. Shasta was EXCELLENT. Throughout the whole planning process, she was informative, responsive, and an overall pleasure to work with. She made everything so easy and was accommodating of everything we wanted. She even threw in a couple surprises for us that just made the whole experience so special and even better than we could have ever imagined! We truly felt like VIPs with special wristbands and our own bouncer. The lounge itself was perfect and easily accommodated our ~60 guests. Our DJ (Curly) was outstanding! He took our music genre preference and small sample playlist and CRUSHED IT! The dance floor was packed the entire time and there wasn't a dull moment the whole time from 10-2am! Shasta and another gentleman were the bartenders and they were super quick with service and made amazing drinks the whole night! My favorite were the green tea shots! The two seating areas and the private restroom were so convenient. Overall, I know everyone had the most perfect night and I will DEFINITELY be coming back soon! We had our afterparty at EOS Lounge when we got married in 2013. Our wedding planner, who gave us choices for almost everything, said this was the only game in town. My friend who went to UCSB in the aughts also remembers EOS as the one place he went clubbing as a college student. All these years later, it's still Santa Barbara's hottest and only nightclub. I figured this out when I was planning Melissa K.'s bachelorette party. I'm a 36-year-old pregnant mom, many years past my clubbing days, but a bachelorette party is a bachelorette party--we needed a fun place to drink and dance with a large group of women. I did a little research and landed right back at EOS. I inquired over email about booking a table for a Saturday night in April. The staff got back to me quickly, and they were responsive and accommodating throughout the reservation process, which was straightforward and easy. All I had to do was commit to a $250 minimum for bottle service. Our party size and arrival time shifted once or twice without causing any problems. If you come with a big group and are just too old to deal with nightclub hassle, I'd highly recommend springing for bottle service. Split so many ways, I'm not even sure it was more expensive than getting the same amount of alcohol and mixers a la carte. We got to skip the line when our host (I think her name was Sidney? definitely something like Sidney) met us at the door and escorted us in. She was very nice, though I guess also on the slow side once we were seated. She was the one person on table service, and we had a bit of a wait after ordering. Cups and mixers came before the tequila, which did at least arrive with some fanfare, with sparklers and a little bottle dance from Sidney. She checked on us periodically after that, but it was easier to grab additional mixers, shot glasses, etc. directly from the bar. The space was fun, and I was surprised to find that I didn't recognize it at all. I guess it's been renovated in the last nine years (I don't think I was THAT drunk on my wedding night). There's a big outdoor space now, but we were inside the whole time, at a table across the bar, slightly elevated and roped off from the dance floor. The table was spacious enough for us to use as a private dance area, a definite plus for a bunch of 30-something women. The only time I ventured out through the dance floor was to use the bathroom, and I did not enjoy that crush of humanity, especially after these last two years. The music was good, not that I'd know, and the rest of the party enjoyed the tequila while I contented myself with pineapple juice. I was dead sober all night, but I still had a great time. First off, the clientele looked more suited for Adrian's Kickback than State Street. Did not beat the B.O. allegations bc that place stank. However, DJ was okay. Dance floor had dece vibes. Outdoor space was appreciated. People smoking hookah was interesting. Puff bars for sale in vending machines felt like one stop toward a propheticized techno-utopia. Hookah galore. Appreciated the interior design of the bathroom. We got a Long Island and a vodka shot for $23 total. Long Island was pretty yummy. Cover was $5 each. Wish they dedicated more of their budget to the visuals and screen behind the DJ. Overall, worth it, but you should pregame heavily. read more

I booked this venue as an after party after a family gathering. Working with Anna was a lovely experience. She had food vendor recommendations so we could provide our guests with some late night snacks. Our guests loved the cool set up with the neon lights everywhere and we had so much space in the back patio to spread out and continue the party. The space had a music control center that was easy to navigate. The bartenders were really friendly and helpful. If I could give it no stars I would. This place was so disappointing. Just full of rude and entitled college kids. So many people cutting in line and the bouncers were choosing who to let in or not. It wasn't until a party of 20 showed up in front of the line that the bouncers began trying to regulate things. I am almost certain it was because they were all African American that they didn't let them in. We were right up front when we told the bouncer we had our ID's ready and money ready. Cover charge was $5 per person but the bouncer took one good look at my boyfriend who is black and said to give him $30. Getting a drink was impossible. ALSO!!! I promise you I am not exaggerating when I say this...There were so many drugs there! You could tell everyone was on something and one guy even had cocaine laid out on one of the tables and was just chain smoking cigarettes. So forgive me if I'm typing this super drunk, it is a bit NSFW but does not break Yelp guildlines, I swear. So this establishment Definitely had the upscaling with the Insomniac partnership( known for running EDC, other EDM music festivals).... the artists nowadays are hella on point, with little boring stuff or average dj stuff since every dj is now a fecking professional. O to the drink... it's standard for every club, but if you talk to Vincent, he seems chill about it and gives hella drinks (usually found outside, Asian dude, very nice when you tip a bit:). ) Expect to drink a cost of between free to $15, depending on how turnt or entertaining you are... So, this unconventional review needs some light it up moments, right? Hey, sometimes you have to just savor the moment. Other times, you just spend $40 on something randomz. Randomly ended up at Eos Lounge with old friends, reminiscing about the times we spent at The Beach Shack (circa early 90's when I bartended there). As much as I am clearly too old for the downtown scene, Eos carries a quality, panache along with it. Of all late night bars in SB, this is by far the classiest place to sit down, order table service; enjoy the people watching. Management is clearly on point, as they run a tight ship and do not put up with shenanigans. I recommend anyone, of any age, to make some memories at Eos. Sidebar, ask for Nelson. EOS! You know there's a lot of ways this review can go so I'm just going to wing it. Eos could absolutely get a 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 star rating from me. I settled on 3 because it's not fair to punish Eos for what is invariably a symptom of Santa Barbara ratchet-ness. (See the picture I uploaded lol) Eos is actually not that bad, it looks worse outside than it does inside. Eos is pretty big so there's a lot of room to roam around and mingle. Bathroom is crazy busy but I've had some of the best bathroom line conversations ever here - weird I know. Keep in mind that the bathroom is usually where frisky activities go down. Heck, it happens in plain sight on the dance floor too. Eos is kind of a sloppy mess. There's a beauty to that I guess. (That rhymed) Don't expect anything life changing... unless of course the stall action going badly. Eos is a cool place if you have a group of drunk people. From "why did I come here?" to "this night is soooo awesome" you really don't know what you're going to get from Eos on a given night. Enjoy. read more
