    Līlīko'i margarita (nice!)

Unbearable was Stop #1 on a pub crawl, that was part of the business event I attended in Santa Barbara. Positives: Cool bartenders and good food; Unique līlīko'i margarita; Big place Negatives: No live music; I would return here to grab a drink and bar hop.

I love unbearable! I would recommend to everyone to sign up for Cruisery rewards, you honestly get so much back! My fave is room 4 activities :)

Came here around 6:30pm on a Tuesday night and it was empty. Hubby and I each ordered a drink and found it flavorful. We ordered the toast with Brie on the happy hour menu and while it was good, it didn't feel like each piece was worth $3. I would've preferred 2 slices for $5 as opposed to $3 per individual order. I dunno....just my mentality. I loved skee ball and it was only $0.25 per round of nine balls. We also had fun playing the arcade game. I know it gets packed later on in the night but it was lovely having the place to ourselves

Finding indoor spots to relax with your dog can be tough especially when traveling. While hiking and beach trips are fun, there is only so much our feet and paws can tolerate. That's why we love Unbearable. I visited on a weekend, when they open at 1 pm. It was quiet until 2 pm, allowing my dog and me to enjoy some quality time to play. We had a blast playing Connect 4 and Skeeball, and appreciate all their tasty drink options. We stayed until it got busy and a little too rowdy so I recommend coming early with your pups.

    Lots of people and games

Honestly, the games was what kept us here for an hour. We played ping pong and connect 4! The vibes were loud and chatty, it looked like a huge bridal party was taking over this spot. There was a huge puddle of water on the floor, and no caution sign or any attempts to clean it up. It was pretty packed with people and pretty loud. The games kept us entertained and in the competitive spirit. We did have to leave our leftovers outside as they don't allow outside food or drink. They also have other large games like jenga but those were being used. I like the decor and they're pet friendly!

If you're looking for a casual, laid back night - this is where it's at. They serve a selection from Wine Therapy down the street so that includes the famous Frosé (frozen blended rosé) and chambongs (champagne flute bong). Helps that they serve those items because Wine Therapy is a bit higher up on State so this is more convenient. They have a variety of spritz' which are very popular as well. I was taking a trip down memory lane visiting all my old stops with a friend while in town and it reminded me how much I loved it here during my college days. Young crowd and sweeter drinks forsure but could easily ask the bartender to adjust the sweetness of the spritz which I'd recommend. I love the Halle Berry or the Drew Barrymore (also can we appreciate the naming!) I love the Meryl Streep or the Drew Barrymore (also can we appreciate the naming!) The space here is what makes it and a good way to come in large or small groups with tons of seating*when not busy. Lots of board games in addition to arcade games from pinball, pool, ring toss, and skee ball +. There's a photobooth as well but it ate our $5 and that sucked... If I was in SB again, I'd just come here for the champagne bongs as a quick pit stop before going out and after grabbing opting for other cocktails down the street.

Perfect place to chill, hang out and rest for a bit while spending the day in downtown. Plenty of sitting spaces. Surprisingly not busy at all on a Saturday afternoon. Drinks are great. Didnt get to try their food, but they seem tasty! Fun place with skeeball, table tennis, and jenga available!

I've been a handful of times and so far all my experiences have been great. I've been on quiet days with my dog and busy Friday nights with a local kickball league. It's a great environment with quality food and drinks and management is nothing short of great.

We loveee this place!! Best happy hour bites and such a fun environment - must stop in SB

Lavender Frosee. 2/5. Tastes like iced wine. IG: @amei.eats
    Alex M.

(Overall: 68% | D) - The unfortunate irony here is that consuming this frosee was unfortunately unbearable. The drink tasted like if you poured red wine on top of ice. None of the fruity or lavender flavor came through in the slush, making this very dreadful to consume. While the bar was a bit loud, there is some interesting activities and the service is reasonable. Unfortunately, this drink was not bussing.

The cocktails are highly creative, diverse in flavor and design, and really could stand up to any you would find at a top cocktail bar in a major city. The exterior doesn't scream "must come in" but you absolutely should. Is it a tiki bar? Yes, but in the best way. And the bartender deserves applause for pulling off 3+ quite complex cocktails every 5 minutes off of memory and without any support.

In a stretch of Lower State packed with breweries, wine bars, and roaming weekend energy-drink humans in vintage bowling shirts, it threads the needle nicely between cocktail bar and tropical escape pod. The menu leans tiki-adjacent rather than deep-cut exotica, but the drinks are smartly built and avoid the "every problem can be solved with more rum" philosophy. There's a solid spread of spirits across the board, which makes the place feel more welcoming to a broader nightlife crowd instead of strictly rum disciples clutching vintage Trader Vic's mugs. The Oaxacan Dead was the standout for me. Smoky, balanced, endlessly sippable. One of those drinks where every sip quietly talks you into ordering another without turning into a sugar avalanche. The Jungle Bird was also great, though presented more in the direction of a Negroni than the punchier tropical versions you usually see. Bitter, restrained, and easy to settle into. Crowd-wise, things tilted a little frat-floaty as the night rolled on, but the staff handled everything smoothly and kept the vibe from turning into full pirate mutiny. Service stayed friendly and composed even when the volume of the room started climbing like a malfunctioning theremin. Big bonus points for the location and outdoor seating. Being right in the middle of Lower State makes it an easy launch point or final stop depending on your evening trajectory. Grab a drink, people-watch, drift between breweries and wine spots, repeat as necessary.

Appreciated the (at least two) beers on tap that were imports -- couldn't quite see what they were, but they had my Guinness, so that was enough for me. (They do have a good selection of taps, including 805, another blonde, etc. Again - since I really only drink Guinness, I can't say I paid much attention.) The (presumed) owner of the dog (and bar) was oblivious/ignored it all. The bartender, when notified initially, ignored the wet floor when we called it out and dismissed it as a water leak. He later came out after the second report of wet floor, and mopped/sanitized the area where it was wet. Several people walked through the "wet spot" and went throughout the space. Whether it was dog urine or water, it is still a wet floor. Please note, I personally witnessed the dog actively urinating when she came over to me for attention because she wasn't getting it from her owner. Final opinion/review from me on this space is please go and support, the staff are attentive and do a great job, but also consider it is potentially may not be sanitary throughout.
