The sensor had to be ordered, so we took our truck back until that time. We brought our truck back on February 11th. During replacement of the sensor the service department broke the sensor off into the exhaust, which caused them to have to replace part of the exhaust and now our truck was not drivable. On February 13th they said they would need to order a new exhaust since they had been unable to extract the sensor. Then on February 18 they said they again they were unable to extract it and would need order the exhaust from out of state which was going to take a couple of weeks. On February 26th they let my husband know that the service manager he had been working with was no longer working for them. March 10th they told him the part should be there the next day and the hope was to have it fixed and back to us that Friday the 13th. On Tuesday the 17th they told him that the truck needed another sensor and that needed to be ordered. Finally on March 19th my husband was able to get the truck back. He drove the truck directly to his place of employment, about 10 mins away, at which time he noticed scratches down the passenger side of his truck. He immediately text the service manager pictures and a text saying he had picked up his truck and there was damage to the paint which was not there prior. The service manager never responded. The next morning he called them and was told to bring in the truck, they would look at it, and make it right. When he brought it in the service manager was on lunch and someone else there took pictures. Later he spoke to the service manager on the phone and he said he had enough pictures, but the general manager wanted to see it in person. Again that Friday it was brought back in and the general manager was already gone, but at that time the service manager took more pictures, said they would make it right, but needed to wait to see what the general manager wanted to do. Then on Monday March 23rd he text for an update on how they were going to fix it. On Monday they asked him to bring it in the next morning. Then on Tuesday the 24th he was told they wanted to try to buff it out and if they couldn't do that they would have it painted. They later text saying they had buffed it out. When my husband retuned to get the truck he brought a body tech with him and they pointed out a crease in the bed of the truck under the spot where the scratches were and places Lum's had now cut through the clear coat when trying to buff out the scratch plus 3 chips in the paint down to bare metal. Later that day he received a text asking him to send in a quote from his body shop and the service manager was going to try to get the general manager to pay for it. After he sent the quote he was told they would pay to send it to the paint shop they deal with to have it painted only. He told them he did not want to send it to their shop and would like to send it to one of his choosing. They refused and said they would only pay to have it repaired at their shop. He later went in to talk to the general manager. She proceeded to walk around his truck and tell him she can tell it is a work truck and she wanted to know why he was concerned about this damage when he had other dents. She told him he acts like his truck is pristine when it isn't. He told her he wanted his truck back to the same condition he took it to Lum's in and again said he did not want it sent to their shop. He said he would get other quotes from other shops he trusts and the general manager agreed. This morning on March 25th he sent them a quote from another shop. They later text back saying they would only have it repaired at their shop and they would only be paying for half of the repairs because they didn't even know if the damage was from them. He asked them for insurance information to file a claim and they ignored the request.

Before this weekend I would have given 5 stars. Here's why it's 2 now…read more I was contacted by the dealership on Friday asking if I would be interested in selling them my 2025 Tacoma TRD Pro and that were ready to make an aggressive offer on it. I said I would definitely consider it and scheduled an appointment for the following day at 11am. I arrived at dealership and was met by Austin who would be working with me. Tney did their thing and looked over my vehicle while I looked at a used 4Runner Pro I was interested in. Filled out credit application and told them I hadn't planned to spend hours in the dealership waiting them to run numbers and come up with a deal. I went home and waited for contract from them on next steps or if anything additional was needed. Didn't hear a word, emailed Austin at 3pm and he said they were working on it. No further communication the rest of day and I sent a second email just before closing with no response Saturday or Sunday morning. Sunday morning, dealership opened at 10am, no word. Drive by dealership at 11am and vehicle I was interested in was still on lot. 1pm I decided to go in to dealership to see what the hold up was, 4Runner was no longer on lot. Now I know my credit isn't the best but I y told them repeatedly I have a co signer just let me know if that is needed.....when I go inside I was met by a different salesman who checked on the deal and said they still were waiting to hear back from bank and asks me to take a seat while he looks in to it more. Salesman comes back and says they sold the 4runner I was interested in trading for. I give a couple other vehicles I'd be interested in, they don't have any of which in stock. During this time Austin walks by me multiple times and says nothing. I forgot to mention I also called at 11am to speak to Austin and was told he would call me back, which he didn't and still hasn't. Basically they wasted hours of my time not to mention running my credit for no reason if they were going to sell the vehicle that would have been part of the deal of them buying my truck back. If it was a credit issue, tell me, I have ways to make the deal work....but zero communication. I've purchased 4 vegetables from them in last 3 years and have had exceptional experiences, nit this time. Why play games considering that contacted me initially to buy my vehicle? Not sure I'd go back or recommend to anyone after this experience.

A huge disappointment!! You will see this following remark which I wrote initially when we bought…read morethe car "Excellent experience! No hassles or haggling with Nelson. We purchased almost exclusively via virtual throughout. The paperwork took 11 minutes. The easiest and best experience I have had buying a vehicle." When we are buying the car they said "we have one more thing for you to do"; and they had me write this review while they watched. Unfortunately that was not the end. My wife and I went to McMinnville auto sales to buy a car, and he sold us a lemon. Nelson, the salesperson, is going to come on google and respond with: (We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced due to the this circumstance. At McMinnville Auto Sales customer satisfaction is something we take very seriously, and that is why we offer numerous options to make sure our customers leave satisfied and confident. Each customer has the opportunity to test drive our vehicles, get a independent 3rd party inspection which we pay for if the car is purchased, and also the opportunity to purchase a extended warranty if the car has no current warranty attached. We offered the opportunity for the inspection and it was declined by you, We believe McMinnville Auto Sales did help you sir, but if you would like to discuss further please reach out to us locally.) Does that make it OK for you to sell worthless cars? I don't think so , I think you should be responsible for the vehicles that you sell and you are not! You sell cars that are bad; as you can see from multiple one-star reviews. Mcminnville Auto Sales knew it had a bad transmission and sold it anyway. Save yourself the headache that we have right now. we have a car at the shop and we have to spend $11,000 to replace the transmission. The mechanics at three different places said that it coded with a bad transmission at firestone and at the dealership and at an independent mechanic. All of them independently said that this is a code that would have been showing months not days ago while at McMinnville auto sales. They sell lemons. The do not stand by their word. If you don't have someone go over the car, do not sell it.

These issues were diagnosed instantly when I stopped at a nearby shop on a test drive. When I showed the service rep the report from the mechanic, I was told they could not lower the price because they had already replaced the transmission in the car and would do no other work on it. When I asked to see the paperwork for the transmission service, they said they "could not find it" but they would get it and mail it to me because the shop that did the repairs was closed. While still at the dealership, I called the shop where the repairs had apparently been done and someone answered--so I handed the phone to the service agent. I waited while he walked next door to retrieve the paperwork, and when he returned he had a printout that said the shop looked at the transmission, stated the issues with it, and recommended it be replaced, but had no record of actually doing the work. The receipt was for a total of $125 for services provided. I would absolutely steer clear of this dealership. I lost a little faith in humanity yesterday in dealing with them.
