There is no way that was prepared correctly. Tortilla soup was quite plain. I kinda wished there to have more depth in flavor. We ordered the signature tacos for my kid. There are some unique salsas you can add to your tacos, the one I've never tried before - is the one with pineapple, we couldn't get enough of it. We've tried the usual suspects - carne asada and al pastor, but they have more on their menu, some of them I've never heard of. The owner is a super cool guy who with a great personality and the service was excellent. I know there are tons of tacos options in Mexicali, but if you are reading this review - seriously, drive to this place and enjoy probably the best tacos you can get in Baja.

The bar is long and roomy with tables along the wall if you would rather face your friends or date. It was hot and sticky in Mexicali when I was there, but when the weather starts to cool down I will definitely sit in the patio and enjoy an ice cold beer and maybe a smoke.
