I am truly disappointed and dissatisfied with the service I received. I went in with a coworker because I was in need of a mani and pedi. The person who seemed to be the manager made one of the manicurists stop eating and start doing my nails. I asked her if she could do a French fade manicure and she said yes. She painted my nails baby pink, which is not what I wanted. She had no towels, she used paper towels and clearly sanitation is a big problem here. She had no tools and was stoping every minute to get things she needed. She cut my cuticles and my big toe started bleeding, not once did she put alcohol or something to stop the bleeding. It now looks infected, red and disgusting. PLEASE BEWARE THEY MAKE UP THEIR OWN PRICES!!!!!!!! Juana charged me 30 dollars for a gel manicure and 20 for a pedicure. HORRIBLE . I've been a loyal client for 5+ years with JOSE. And that last couple times I went he seemed to be very busy and a little cold with me and would tell me go to his co worker Amy whom also did beautiful nails, so I had no problem. Today after a long day of work and getting soaked in the rain to go do my nails I went to see if JOSE was available and he was, He was sitting on the couch and I was so happy for him to be available to do my nails because he hasn't been available, then he said he wasn't working today. I assumed maybe he was there doing inventory or something due to him having some papers in his hand. I sat down waiting for a worker to finish her client to do my nails since Jose said he wasn't working but I was hoping he would just do them for me. Then another client comes in and he gets up asks her what does she want done and she reply's tips and he tells her to sit and starts doing her nails. I was so confused because he just told me he wasn't working. I got up and asked him why he didn't take me and he said in Spanish "I can take whoever I wanna take I don't need to do ur nails if I decide not to, it's my decision" I asked what was his problem and if it was cause I went to Amy a couple times because the last few times I was there I saw the division with the workers in the salon and he had a problem with his costumers going to the other workers which didn't make sense to me because it's a business and its his staff so it should be team work and if someone is busy then go to someone else until next time. But no he embarrassed me in front of everyone in the salon yelling out that he just didn't wanna service me and doesn't have to if he chooses not to. I left very hurt and upset that someone I went to for so long and always gave good tips and sometimes offered coffee or McDonald's apple pies to when I would stop before going in the salon would treat a loyal costumer like that. How he acted today was way out of character because we always had great conversations every time I've been to him for the past 5 yrs+ but I spoke up for myself and I'm glad I did because if he can't treat his costumers like that I can only imagine his staff. read more

I love this place. its not too expensive and the service is really good. everytime i go i always come out happy and my nails come out better than i expect. while I'm getting my nails done i always thing that they are going to be terrible and I'm going to hate then but i always leave with a smile on my face. i was there on thursday 8/15 with my sister and i was like "hey i dont think think i like this because I'm not sure this is what i actually asked for..." but it wasnt done and was still in the process. in the end i turned out loving them and all the people i have taken there with me loved the service and their nails and they keep going back. the place isnt to fancy but its welcoming and its worth it. my nails always last me a while there unlike all the other places ive. I have visited the location several times. I am a very patient customer, sometimes too patient. In past visits, I have waited up to two hours to be seen on weekend afternoon. They have always done an okay job, i wasn't amazed but was never a bad manicure or pedicure. Due to this, I began to trust in them for basic touch ups. Until today. I went looking to CLEAN my eyebrows, and made no mention of shaping or anything else. I think this worker thought I looked better with thinner eyebrows, so she did just that, she thinned my eyebrows. I could tell with how much lighter the skin around my eyebrow was. Her response was unprofessional and she didnt care less how dissatisfied I was. I told them multiple times, even in spanish, that I wanted it black. They even asked me if i wanted black or white and I kept saying BLACK. Black matte. All they did was put a matte coat on top if the white and gave me the bill. I needed my nails black for a outfit for the weekend and now I just wasted my time and money on something I DIDNT WANT! Worst service (Do not come here) and the manager out of all people tried to take the tip away from the worker who did my nails-bad joke at the wrong time especially after not being able provide their workers with the right supplies. At any moment they could've stop and said oh we don't have enough to do your nails but they went ahead and kept doing even though I asked do you have enough since I wasn't familiar with it. Walked in yesterday to get a pedicure and tips. Now DONT COME HERE. there is like 7 ladies waiting for clients. And seems like they get paid by client. They will talk you to get to try everything when you only need the regular pedicure and regular tips. They ask if you want a scrub a crystal gel, one those things don't wrk. I came in to get acrylic tips and a design. I wanted them to be coffin shaped I opted out of a matte top coat. The nails were so thick and filing was done horribly. Two put of my ten nails looked somewhat like a coffin and the rest were uneven and bulky. The man who did my nails spoke no English although I wouldn't mind that if he did my nails right. The acrylic leaked over to the side walls and fused with my skin making it really painfully. However I would not have let a negative review if it wasn't for the fact that I was unfairly charged. I came in with two other friends who got exactly the same thing. One of them paid 17 for their acrylic tips and the other paid 27. I had to pay 35 for a crappy job. I will never go again. 1st off I was looking for some new designs and from the look on the designs that every technician had displayed it was definitely telling me this was not the place to be but since its close to where I live I stood there beside my better judgement. The technician was not very friendly and looked like she just wanted to get it over and done with. The nail polishes are boring and old and not much to choose from. I go here every 2-3 weeks for fill-ins and pedicures. I find that some technicians are better than others, but overall everyone does a good job and they are very inexpensive and quite friendly. I recommend going in the off hours or off days..saturday and sundays can be chaotic with a long wait time..Only downside is that they dont take credit cards. read more

This is the worst place I've ever been to. First of all NO HEAT. Its colder than the outside.They charged me $50 for acrylic and gel and they didn't last not even 3 days. Also the pedicure I have 3 toes painted the other 2 are not anymore. I did this Friday and today is Monday. Same thing for my boyfriend. Inside its ugly and dark for them to charge so much. Use to go here religiously every week. Mani/pedi $15. Sometimes I was content other times I was not. I would have to remind the woman to put lotion and/or scrub my feet on more then one occasion. I went here a really long time ago but never wrote a review for this place, so here it goes. This place is literally the definition of ratchet. I went in with my friends and we get there and the place REEKED of nail glue. My friend and I couldn't even breathe because it was so strong. Not to mention the fact that they don't even have Essie and OPI... What nail salon doesn't have Essie and OPI?! Like no. Also the lady can't even speak English. I'm sorry, I am highly aware that this area is more Spanish speaking but at least learn how to speak English so I don't have to use my phone to translate what I'm saying. Horrible service !!!!!! Do not go to this place !!!!!! I have been going to do my nails for years at this place , they changed management so they have new staff. Do not go this place I went in with my boyfriend looking to get my tips done , the minute I asked for regular tips the guy made a face and sent me to the lady next to him she made a face as well. After I sat down she asked me what I wanted and I told her tips now 2 months earlier I got tips done and they charged me $17 she told me it was $22 now the prices went up I said okay I didn't know I normally go to envy in Jamaica , she then responded that every envy was different and that I could go to the one on Jamaica so I could pay $17 I told her the money wasn't the problem. While she was putting my nails on she asks me if I want them round or squared . I tell her round and she then says it's going to $30 now cause they charge for shaping them now. At this point I laughed and asked another lady next to her . The minute I asked the lady and she agreed shaping the nail came with the service the lady got really mad and completely changed her story made it seem like I didn't want to pay or something. She was still gluing my tips she finished putting them on and right after she goes well she can do them for you , I moved to next seat and her co worker says I'm going to lunch they both walk away to the back and I'm left at the table. All the workers were looking at me laughing cause at this point I didn't get it , I was waiting there for a while till I realized she clipped my nails and wasn't planning on doing them.
