Even if after reading some of the negative reviews, I decided to give this nail salon a chance. The nail tech that did my nails was pretty rude and looked like she didn't want to be there. She had on a mask so I couldn't hear her and when I asked her to repeat herself, she got irritated and really raised her voice at me. On top, of that she was pretty rough with my nails. More importantly, they keep re-using used utensils; used file, used aluminum to remove the gel I had on. Save your money and go somewhere else. It is not worth it. Amazing and incredible service!! I called them at 7:20pm and asked if they can do my pedicure that I was 5 minutes away and said yes. The lady who did my pedicure was so professional! The service was anything I have ever seen before!! Even the massages that is included in the pedicure is absolutely refreshing. Really wanted to like my gel manicure as this place is so conveniently located (three blocks from my place; and of course want to support my community) but it was just not great. The young woman who's name I didn't get seemed rushed, although there was no one else waiting, and when I was telling her my preferences, and how I like my nails shaped, and things to look out for (no one knows your nails better than you) I feel like I was being dismissed. Furthermore, when painting my nails she was very messy and missing getting into the corners and edges, and didn't cap the nail off (put polish on the edge; being that I've been getting gel manicures since CND first came out with the Shellac system years ago, I know what makes techniques lend to a long lasting mani) Finally the price seems very high for the Corona (27.00) which is the same I pay at my regular salon in Gramercy! Which i wouldn't mind paying there, if it was worth my while but it wasn't... and one nail already chipped-- 24 HOURS and gel?! No bueno UPDATE: it's now been 6 days, and my nails deteriorated further, lifting at all the edges (because there was no capping of the nail edge) and lifting the polish off. Less than one star is not an option. NEVER GO HERE! But I was highly disappointed in my experience here. I just moved to the area. And didn't know any better! The owner completely destroyed my natural nails with the SNS and tips. After I complained that they were not well placed on and that they were all coming off. The owner grabbed a METRO CARD and started yanking off the tips, along with my natural nails. I told her several times to soak instead of her metro card. The staff was very friendly and Rosa took her time doing my manicure and pedicure . The place is cleans and located near public transportation. As most places, after the visit they provide your with a card to keep track of the visits and will provide you with a free manicure once you reach 10 visits. read more

Their service was absolutely terrible. I got a pedi and full set. I didn't like how she did my feet at all and omg my nails. She was terrible. She put the freakin tip in the middle of my nails when they're supposed to go clearly at the tip of my actual nail. U can see the lining of the tip in the center of my nail even wit the polish on. I use to wear gel tips for years and went to the same nail tech for over 10ys unfortunately she relocated but thankfully I came across this fabulous salon the entire staff all there are awesome. I was educated by the owner herself as to how important it is to allow my natural nails to breathe and still show off my own creativity with brightness of color I so love I enjoy coloring my hair with unusual colors so having my nails to match my personality is an epic feeling especially when you have nail techs who actually know and love what their doing their very much dedictated to satisfying their customers the organic way I love this place so much and definitely recommend it read more

Went for the first time. Very clean and nice. But unfortunately I had to wait a while for a gel mani and a pedicure. I was left my feet soaking in jelly water for 30mins before anyone came over to start my pedicure. In total, it took me three hours and 20 mins to get out of there. It's been a week since my gel manicure and part of it has chipped in some nails. The prices are a bit high for the neighborhood too. Overall, the staff is really nice and they do a good job in pedicures. Just don't get there on a Friday afternoon. read more

I wish I can give no stars but unfortunately this is not an option. I called this business Thursday and made a appointment for Friday (the next day). I was going to get a pedicure and manicure. When the lady I believe who's name is Rosa sets me up to start the pedicure I let her know I have a small Calais and if she can just please make sure to remove it. After that it went downhill. She tells the owner and the owners daughter I want a Calais removed. She tells me I have to pay $8 to put a liquid on the Calais to remove it. I told her to give me second because I wanted to research the product that was going potentially be used on me. She then became irate and told me I have to make a decision right now because they have customers waiting. All I asked for was second to research the product as I could've potentially be allergic and I can not put all chemicals on my skin as I was afraid to get a reaction. I was on the phone with my sister having a private conversation and the daughter of the owner came and told me I was being disrespectful because I expressed I was going to right this review because of the failure to giving good customer service. I am so flabbergasted. I have never been told I had to pay $8 or any money at that to get a normal pedicure, this comes with the job. Them trying to upsell is not my problem it's their approach. You can not forcefully make a person pay for a product they do not want. I AM IN CONTROL OF WHAT GOES ON MY BODY AND WHAT DOESNT NOT THE PEOPLE AT THE BUSINESS! It may seem they are taking precautions against covid, and may appear clean, but clearly they aren't cleaning their equipment. My friend and I went to get our nails done last week and we both ended up with really bad nail infections. Two different chairs, two different nail techs. I'm so disgusted and freaking out am going to get tested for covid as well. Stay away from this place! read more

Horrible! Went in to get a mani and pedi with my sister in law and got hurt in the process. Have a huge cut on my big toe from the nail technician cutting too deep into the side that she actually had to hold pressure and apply medications to stop the bleeding. Had a small cut on my pinky also because she cut the side too deep but no bleeding. I let the owner know when I went to pay and all she said is you wont get an infection. Offered no discount for the bad job. Will not be going there again. I better not get an infection!!!! read more
