When you've got an early flight, convenience stops being a luxury and becomes the whole game. This place delivers on that front without making it complicated. Check-in was smooth, staff were friendly and easygoing, no attitude, no friction. The room was clean, well-kept, and had a small kitchenette. We didn't use it, this was a quick overnight, grab a bite and get some sleep kind of trip--but it's a nice option if you're staying longer. The bed was comfortable, which is really all you want at the end of a travel day. There's also a complimentary breakfast, which is always a welcome bonus when you're trying to get out the door early without overthinking it. Now, I've seen some complaints about street noise. I get it, the hotel sits near a busy area, and from our room on the fourth floor overlooking the Chelsea Street Bridge, there was definitely traffic. But for me? Not even remotely an issue. Walls appear to be quite thin so a neighbor blasting music enough you could make out the lyrics and then due to where it's located traffic noises (honestly that parts more expected). They are clearly aware this must be an issue as they had one set of earplugs on the night stand haha. Parking price has seemed to go up quite a bit looking through old reviews as it's now $25 a night. Still not the worst pricing ever but I think it should be cheaper. Despite the sound issues I was happy with our stay just due to the fact of how close it made us to the airport. Worth checking out if you are looking for a similar reason.

But the nightmare we were about to uncover is not worth the price. The walls were peeling, the room smelt of a smoker, horribly rude concierge, and the cherry on top BED BUGS! Yes, the bed bugs did indeed bite that night. While my friend and I were relaxing we saw a tiny creature crawl up one of our pillows. We immediately got up and saw that it was a bed bug, we then checked the sheet seams and behold, tiny black and brown dots everywhere. Bed bug droppings all over. We left immediately and after throwing all our belongings into trash bags, ended up sleeping in our car.

The only issue we had was with the valet parking. It didn't really feel like full valet service -- you're told where to leave the car and then they move it. In the morning, when we got our car back, we noticed a dent and scratch on the side that 100% happened while it was parked there. There are too many cars and not enough space. What was most disappointing is that the parking staff never mentioned anything about the scratch when returning the car. Aside from that situation, our stay was pleasant, but the parking experience was frustrating.

The rooms come with body lotion, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. I love the smell of these and have used it, even though I brought my own conditioner and shampoo. There's also a mini fridge and a microwave. Ice machine is nearby the elevators. Room service is only provided upon request and is between the hours of 9am-noon I believe, maybe longer. Breakfast during the weekdays is from 6-9am, with alternative hours on weekends. Breakfast usually always consists of waffles (self-made), fruit, juice, coffee, and bagels/bread to toast. They alternate between sausages, potatoes, eggs, and Canadian bacon. There are usually people already down there by 6am, some even before then while they're still setting up. There's lots of seating with a back seating area as well. There is a Starbucks (no-drive thru) and Chick-fil-A (drive thru) in the same lot which is nice. The hotel lobby locks after 11pm, so be sure to have your room key to scan to get back in.
