I'd give zero stars if I could. I signed a contract due to multiple carpenter bee nests around my house. The sales guy indicated this was a treatment they provide, so I proceeded to sign an annual contract. Each treatment proved to be as ineffective as the first, and had zero impact on killing the carpenter bees. Over a year later and they are as active as ever. The "office" extended a courtesy treatment a few weeks ago, but again, it had no impact. I then reached out to the office for a refund, and they flat-out refused. Extremely frustrating experience! We got serviced twice for the same bird call. We cited the two vents that needed to be serviced one kitchen exterior and bathroom interior . The bathroom fan smell and suspicion of bird up there was our main concern. The first crew "got" all the birds and left without checking the bathroom. Called that night reporting a strong smell still lingered and sounds of a loud squawking from the fan. The second crew came out next day and found one bird in the exterior vent, and was captured being asked to come inside to inspect and service, but then "professionally" (less than a minute) turned off and on the fan to "solve" the warranty call . The day after the second service, the bird was found by myself on at the entrance of the bathroom exhaust fan by uninstalling it ( took 3 minutes) that the crews both times ignored. I called the service because I am pregnant and should not be on a ladder and was super worried about the disease that could be flowing through my house. Call was placed 5/2 and not scheduled till 4 days later 5/6 the first time and 1 day later 5/7 the second time. So this company left us almost a week with this problem when other company's for the same price of $499 would have done it the same day. We even provided a tip for the guys because we had faith in the service industry instead we got half of the effort. We have doorbell cameras on both front and back that luckily made us aware of this blatant disregard for our concerns so that we did not feel like karen customers when reaching out to management. Current status of the concern: Management and Service department gave only partial refund and have pushed back warranty service til 5/15. So an extra week of dead bird smell was the solution. read more

This has been one of the most frustrating cust service experiences I have ever had. To start their technicians are very professional and quality, so no complaints there. unfortunately the same can not be said for their mgmt and office staff. The office staff is constantly changing so there is never any consistency and a total lack of training. I have reached out to them several times and very rarely do you receive a follow up/response. However they are always sure to charge your credit card on time, even when services are not rendered. As a business owner, I can appreciate that communication is key to any successful relationship, so I attempted to speak with mgmt on several occasions to determine a appropriate solution to my mole problem. Over the course of several years and over $1000 my yard is in total shambles and Environmental choose to walk away without mgmt ever speaking with me after numerous requests. However they did feel the need to charge me for a general pest control service after terminating me. When I reached out to the office to discuss I was told that mgmt was not available nor would they reverse the charge. They also informed me that I would be subject to a termination charge, but that they would waive that (which is laughable as they terminated the agreement not me!) Finally I have asked for a copy of the service agreement that outlined the scope of service and billing, on multiple times and they have never been able to provide, however they would continue to bill me and attempt to assess a termination charge. I was finally able to have the charges reversed. I would highly recommend you to look at other pest control companies, there are a number of reputable groups out there. read more

DON'T CALL! I had a wasp issue and decided to register for their annual service since this was my second issue with wasps. Their full service includes the placement of multiple rodent stations placed around the perimeter of the home. I was not informed of this nor did they identify the locations of the traps. Three (3) days after their visit, my cat ingested a poisoned mouse and consequently died. I explained this unfortunate situation to their office and they were defiant of the situation and charged me $325 for the initial visit and and additional $275 for early termination fee. I won't be using this company again. They don't follow through with their guarantee. The first visit the man wouldn't stop and listen to me when I was trying to SHOW him where the silverfish were coming into my garage. With his back to me, he said "keep talking I can hear you." I live in a 3 story townhouse, and I paid for 3,000 sf application. He sprayed the exterior (all of 30 feet front and back), a portion of the garage and nothing else on the first floor. On the 2nd floor he sprayed in the kitchen and considered his job done. I had to tell him to spray along the bottom of the French doors that go along the back exterior wall (24 feet.) Never went to the top floor, nor sprayed along the rest of the floor boards. Within a few days I saw a huge silverfish crawling up my garage wall. Had them come back out and spray garage and exterior again. I would have felt happy with that, but the woman in the office and the man who came to do the 'guarantee treatment' tried to make me feel like it was my fault by the comments they made, for example, I was told it was my responsibility to supervise the man who came to spray. The 2nd man told me I needed to sweep the a scattered leaves out of my garage that the wind had blown in because they would cause a bug infestation . However, he did tell me I still had a guarantee if I saw more bugs. Two or three days later I saw a small silverfish in the master bathtub on the 3rd floor. I called them once again. I was given the run around - even told me their computers were down. Haven't heard that one in a long time, LOL. The women in a sugary sweet voice assured me that I would receive a return call that same day even if they didn't solve the "computer problem." It's been several days, and I still haven't heard back from Environmental Pest Control. I had a mouse infestation last winter. I signed a contract agreeing to 4 further treatments, unbeknownst to me my dishwasher is bolted to my kitchen counter and per landlord cannot be moved. The exterminator from environmental Pest Control pointed this out. Since the dishwasher cannot be moved to block the mouse hole, further treatments are not helpful. Environmental Pest Control billed me for $210. I sent an email explaining the situation and asked to release me from my contract or to turn me over to collections. INSTEAD THEY FELT FREE TO ROB MY CHECKING ACCOUNT OF 210.00 without the courtesy of advance notice. I filed with my bank to try to resolve. I am a senior widow living alone & feel that l was taken advantage of. Customer service is not in this businesses mission statement. STAY AWAY. read more
