Worst Customer service! I have been using Elite for over a year and for the most part was…read moresatisfied with my service up until this past spring summer. I won't bore you with all the minor discrepancies - but must share what is baffling a company wanting to stay in good standing would even do. Two weeks ago I took off a half day work for a service. Elite was due to arrive within a two hour window. 10 min after that window expired they called and said they were having truck issues and had to reschedule. I said Really? You had the same thing happen last time (2 months prior) and had to reschedule on me . She said sorry , we are training a new person and he doesn't know the area yet. Confused , I was thinking so your truck is broke or your new guy is lost ? What it is? Whatever .... I reschedule for the following week - today between 10-12. I got TWO appointment reminders yesterday saying they would be here between 11-1. Ok- no big deal. At 12:55 I get a phone call from the secretary saying she was just informed Elite is no longer servicing my area and won't be coming . Who does this ? I am outraged to say the least that a company would do this 5 min prior to their scheduled arrival time. You people are horrible humans and don't deserve to be in business!

If you're dealing with raccoons, squirrels (or even mice) getting into your attic and causing…read moredamage, Hunt Country Wildlife Control is the team you want. We just had them finish "critter proofing" our attic and they did a fantastic job from start to finish. The whole operation was professional - both the back-office team and the installers, Kody and Rob. Communication was solid, they showed up when they said they would, and the work quality was top-notch. They're not the cheapest option, but you truly get what you pay for. As the old saying goes: cry once, or cry over and over. They handled things the right way - humane control and a planned exit for the critters first, then they sealed everything up to future-proof the attic/roof from new incursions. What I also appreciated: no pushy upsells. No pressure to buy a new roof, insulation, or extra work you didn't ask for - just wildlife control done the right way. Based on the quality of the materials and the thoroughness of the top-side exclusion work, I can't imagine anything getting back in... unless it's purely by a critter's willpower. Highly recommend.

Last weekend - a friend and I were driving down U.S. 15 South towards Haymarket - when suddenly a…read moreblur appeared in front of us - and we heard a loud thump. Something had flown in front of my truck. A few minutes later, we arrived at my house, and got out to inspect the front of my truck - imagine my surprise when I found a Red Shouldered Hawk embedded in my truck grill. The Hawk was still alive - so we snagged some thick leather gloves and carefully extracted it from the grill. We attempted to release the Hawk into the woods - but it would not fly. So I called the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center - it was late on a Sunday, so I was unsure if anyone would answer the phone. Sure enough - someone did. I recounted the situation - they instructed me to carefully place the Hawk in a box or laundry basket - with some towels or blankets over the Hawk to keep it warm and quiet. We retrieved the Hawk after some difficulty, it had landed in an area with a lot of briars and thorn bushes. I then cruised out to the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center facility in Boyce, VA - about a 40 minute drive from where I live. I checked the Hawk in with them, made a $50 donation to them (they are a 501(c)(3) non profit organization - and so need the support they get from donations). I was relieved that the Hawk at least now had a chance - as it was in the best possible hands. I called the next afternoon to check on the Hawk - sadly, it's injuries were to severe - and they could not save the Hawk, Still, I appreciate all that they do! Please consider supporting the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center with a donation! #BlueRidgeWildlifeCenter
