Here's the deal. I don't trust anything that has the word "environmental" in it. If it's a dish soap, that usually means there's no suds. If it's a food substance, that usually means it going to taste like cardboard. So when my wife said a guy named Chris was coming over from Enviro Friendly Carpet Care, I thought to myself, "This has long day written all over it." Chris arrived with a capable helper and the two did our 2,300-square-foot house in three hours, leaving two airplane-sized fans behind to dry the job. He used a peroxide elizer to remove a huge dark spot and made it look new. No one has ever been able to do that. So Chris was great. I'm not saying I plan to turn into a tree hugger because of his service, but I'd sure call him back and I'd recommend him to anyone. read more

Chris cleaned my room the sunday that I called him (on labor day weekend, no less) because I was moving out and someone else was moving in. He even squeezed me in between other appointments! He not only got out the stains that had been there since before I moved in two years ago, but even got rid of pet stains and orders for the most reasonable price I've seen (I didnt a lot of research beforehand) and its all very safe and environmentally friendly. He went to my house twice in one day to apply enzymes to get rid of the pet stains and smell as well as properly dry the area. He also always called or texted to keep me updated on progress or next steps! He made everything so easy and painless and even sent me pictures of the room after! He is incredibly trust worthy, no one could be there to let him in so we just left a key for him. I assure you he will do everything and more to get the job done, he did it for me in a pinch and in a ridiculously amount of turn around time. Looks and smells like new again! Twas the week before Christmas....... Chris saved Christmas!! Mu dog got sick on my living room carpet. Chris went out of his way to fit me into his schedule. He did not up sell me at all even though he spot treated several areas on the carpet. He ended up doing my daughters bedroom because he had the time and I was already paying his minimum for the call. In my daughters room was a nail polish spill which Chris offered to treat (although he told me it was 50/50 that it would come out) It did not come out and he told me no charge for the effort. (I paid him regardless of the outcome because he used special product trying to get it out). Bottom line, great service, nice guy, good results. read more

NOT THE SAME AS "ENVIRO-DRY CARPET CARE" - I made the same mistake Vanessa P. made (see the only 1-star review below). I got the coupon in the mail - called the number, set up an appt, expected one price, but was told once the guys got here that it would be a MUCH higher one on the spot. Ended up talking him down to half of the original quoted price, but still much more than the coupon advertised (which is why I called them in the first place), super shady. Then after the work was done (which just smelled like bleach water imo), their invoice just says "Carpet Tile & Air Duct Care". I needed the couch and carpet cleaned so I used them anyway, and it appears cleaner but we will see how it dries out. Anyway - I didn't use this company (Enviro Friendly Carpet Care), unfortunately, as I was tricked! I kept wondering where this infamous "Chris" was! Oh well, lesson learned - from now on I will just pitch the coupons that come in the mail. I just wanted to prevent another person from making the same mistake I did. read more

Chris is had a big challenge with my dad's carpet. He hadn't cleaned the carpets for a few years and had issues with badly soiled spots from the dog. He was very professional in dealing with my dad and taking care to deliver the service needed. He made multiple trips with penetrating, cleaning and following up. Chris did a fantastic job. When he came by the carpet was a matted and food stained mess and I really didn't think he could get it out but he did. Chris really worked a lot harder than I expected out of most of my previous experiences with carpet cleaners. He stayed with the stains until he got them out or exhausted all his efforts to get them out. He was upfront about what he thought he could get out and what he couldn't, which was refreshing as most guys will tell you a vague answer and then make excuses why they couldn't. He double checked his work and made sure I was happy. He left blowers to ensure they dried thoroughly and did not charge extra. Chris was really great. He was the only place I called that called me back and could come out the same week. He quoted me a price and that was exactly the price we paid in the end. Our carpets at the new condo were beyond dirty. In fact I don't think the previous owners ever ran a vacuum. We had a ton of stairs as well and the carpet is so clean and stands up now, before the high traffic areas were 100% matted down. Chris is very easy going but works very hard. I have NEVER had my carpets cleaned better with more care than Chris took and what amazed me is that both jobs took way longer than he had quoted and he didn't change his original quote which was low!! I have never had my carpet look this clean and stay so clean until I used Enviro Friendly Carpet Care.! My carpet gets filthy from my 3 kids and my dog. I have had stains I was sure weren't going to come up and somehow Chris manages to get rid of them. The best part of it all for me is that he uses safe products to get the job done. I agree with Vanessa P. I SPOT clean 3x/year as I have a dog. Wanted to try this company as it is "pet friendly". Got Coupon for 1st time "discount". I moved my own furniture to patio to make easier for workers. His name was Chris & wouldn't be writing this review if he didn't call me a "Greedy Bitch". The cleaning was good. The behavior was scary as I'm familiar with Law & he kept making excuses why the Coupon wasn't honored. Kept calling him on the fact that these Coupons are MISLEADING. He manipulated me while my husband wasn't present, otherwise we would have told company to leave. I've never paid over $135 for spot cleaning but wanted to see what this company was like with Coupon. He charged me $250 which I wanted to file complaint w/Company tomorrow, being Monday. Truck had no name. Dented like some trash truck. Had I known this weird Company has that kind of image, we would have notified the Guard at our Complex not to allow them in. For a Service to call me today & call me a Greedy Bitch, doesn't end here. Don't use that company because when I tried to talk to Customer Service to complain, they were defending themselves..not interested in what the issue was & making it extremely difficult for me to get to the General Manager following day. So I basically said, I will file legal action, & demand that the Recordings of bad language & attitude of Customer Service be reviewed. They could have been cordial to make customers happy. Be careful who comes into your home. Research who they hire & is it a "sold Family business"...as they use that to make it sound that they're there for you. I am a first time customer and I did not have a good experience. We had the master bedroom and the staircase cleaned and they charged us $120 dollars; while the coupon book said $90 for 5 bedrooms. We had less carpet cleaned then what the coupon book said, but still, they charged us a lot for the cleaning. Also, the men that cleaned were really rude to me and were not friendly. read more

AMAZING PRICE & SERVICE!!! Use these guys w/out a second thought!!! My carpet cleaning encounter follows... I had 1 room in my condo I needed to rent, but the room had a 3ftX1ft pink juice stain on it from my last tenant1 month prior.. I tried everything, the stain wouldn't budge. All I needed is 1 small room professionally cleaned and I had 0 hope the stain would budge, but still needed it clean! I called 5 other companies and they all said it's a minimum of $100 plus extra hard work on particular stain will be extra + any extra rooms of course. Then I called Chris the Owner of Enviro Friendly Carpet Care, he understood my predicament and I texted him a pic of the stain. He called me back and he said the stain probably is not coming up, BUT if he can't get the big stain out 100% he'd clean the whole room for half the cost of other guys entry fee!! However, if I was happy and he can get it out w/out a trace, pay him a little extra, still less than anyone's entry fee!! Deal! So he came out to my house the next morning at 9 am sharp, having already researched the stain, asked around at the supply store, bought the best possible solution based on his research, and even got a special technique. After a few hours on his hands and knees w/ an iron and cloth on the stain (new technique), the stain was 100% GONE!! He finished up the rest of the room in no time! He was quiet, respectful of noise, gentle with furniture and other carpets, etc. Needless to say I happily paid him a little more, but still LESS THAN everyone else's entry fee!! (I later learned he also paid $40 for the solution, but did not bait and switch asking for cost of materials!). I couldn't be more pleased with his work and cost ! I'll recommend him to everyone! I called the #800 number listed in the Home Improvement Guide from the February issue because they had some amazing carpet cleaning specials and feature a dog for pet problems. $19.95 for two rooms, $89.95 for any five rooms. Well, I call for an upstairs hallway which is small and my dog had an accident. The tele-sales response was great and confirmed an appointment immediately. Their sub-contractor, sub-contractor (Must be) showed up and quotes me $425.00 for a small hallway. I quickly dismissed his quote and showed him the ad. He then reduces the cost to $275.00. I was so offended I showed him to the door. In the midst of calling the owners, he knocked on the door to let me know he would reduce his cost to $120.00. I needed the carpet cleaned and agreed. Bad decision. In the midst of cleaning the carpet, he kept trying to add costs to the cleaning. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS CARPET CLEANING SERVICE EVER! Also, when I paid him by check it wasn't to Enviro-Dry Carpet Care (name is another story) but to Carpet Care who then gives me a receipt named Carpet Tile and Air Duct Care. Chris say he has been cleaning carpets for five years and I believe he is the best value in carpet cleaning out there. What I mean is: he does a terrific job and undercharges, I think because he is a really nice guy. I don't know how he can live on such low prices but he must enjoy being busy. His service is good for anyone who wants his/her carpets cleaned right by someone with an attention to detail. He cleaned the old carpet in my apartment and it looks as good as new.
