They tried to upsell my carpet cleaning and sofa cleaning for 2600 I had someone else do it for 650 plus I tip the guy 200 was at my house for 5 hours and did a fabulous job. Yes, THIS company that has been in Costa Mesa since the 1970's and is family owned and operated. I had a HORRIBLE experience when I accidentally hired a cleaner that has a similar name (Orange County Steam Masters). After investigating, I found out that this isn't even a real carpet cleaning company! They are just a call center that sells leads to independent contractors! Turns out they only use this name for marketing purposes. They did a terrible job on my cleaning, it looked worse than before and they scratched my wood floors. I was furious! I left a 1 star review! However, I ACCIDENTALLY put the review on the wrong page! My apologies to "The Original" Steam Master. Please know... "The Original" Steam Master and "Orange County Steam Masters" are as different as night and day! Our dog wasn't feeling well and had an accident on a heavily textured rug with woven details, small and large loops, and different heights. We treated immediately and repeatedly with vinegar, baking soda, and enzyme spray, but the color wouldn't come out of the white loops. Try as I might, it was also impossible to get all of the debris out because of the way the rug is woven. I couldn't use my Bissell because any rubbing with the brushes would cause significant damage and feathering/fraying to the loops. Enter Steam Masters. Once again, they were able to rescue one of my rugs. I don't know what kind of magic technique they have, but they were somehow able to get the stains and debris out. It's clear they also got any smell out because neither of our dogs has shown any interest in marking at all. The price was incredibly reasonable and included both pickup and delivery. My carpet was cleaned well. I was informed by the cleane that if a spot resurfaced within the next few days, they would reclean it as part of the first cleaning service. I called about a section of my carpet that had a line in the carpet that resurfaced. I called every day for a week. I finally spoke to a woman who told me twice that they would reclean the line for a deep cleaning fee. Despite my explanation, she would not authorize a free reclean, so now I'm stuck with this unclean section of t carpet. I'm not satisfied with their service. read more
