Greg is a real genuine person. He considerate, thorough about solving problems, and generous with his time.

Quality & it stunk so badly when he was done! We couldn't sleep at home. Was not a steam cleaner but a reg cleaner like I'd rent. He kept using my bathtub to empty dirty water & he didn't move or clean. Eat a stick of furniture. He did our stairs & the rest wasn't clean. & it stunk!! read more

Steam Master Carpet Cleaner did an amazing job on my high-pile Moroccan rug! They were incredibly friendly when they came to my home to pick it up, and the quote they gave me was more than fair. I also had a few questions about cleaning my couch, and they answered everything on the spot. The rug was delivered back to me clean, fresh, and perfectly dried. The finished product is a hit--our cat loves it, and we love stretching out on it in the mornings for sun salutations. We're always lying down on our rug, so having it spotless is important to us, and we never wear shoes on it. Thank you, Steam Master Carpet Cleaner, for the fantastic service! read more

First experience was good- Greg did a great job and the carpets looked great. When I reached out to him again, he was nonresponsive. It was unfortunate that I couldn't make another appointment. read more

They are quick to respond, fair quote, friendly and helpful people. The most important part is everything came out clean. I didn't take really dirty items but they came back looking like new. I had cloth dining chairs, bench and sofa cushions. read more

Tanner was awesome. He came out super fast to pick up our carpet and was able to work around our busy schedule, which we really appreciated. He was professional, kind, and made the whole process easy. We'll definitely be using this company again because of him. read more

I called steam master carpet, cleaners, and made an appointment. The lady could not give me a quote over the phone so she said when the technician gets there he'll let me know what he thinks. I'm not sure. I understand how a company is in business for such a long time and can't give you a quote on a one bedroom apartment. How different our apartments? So he gets there and then they call me and say well if we don't have direct access and there's no water we can't do it and that's interesting to me that you would ask that when you get there instead of asking that when I booked the appointment. Luckily they could get access and there was a water supply. Anyways, the job that they did was good minus the fact that there were lots of puddles and wet spots that I had to clean up myself afterwards and for the price that was very disappointing. I got quoted almost $500 for a silly little one better apartment which is outrageous to me. I actually told the guy that I got a quote for $100 cheaper so he took $100 off and the fact that he was so quick to take that hundred dollars off tells me I was being gouged. There's no way that a deep cleaning for laminate floor and one carpeted bedroom without moving any furniture should cost that much money. Is it all clean, yes do I feel ripped off absolutely. I will not use this company again. I will look pulse where a floor cleaning like that should not be any more than a couple hundred dollars in such a small apartment. I was charged almost 400. Please shop around.! read more

Friendly staff, do a great job. We've used them for years and have always been satisfied

We had our couch and rug steamed and cleaned. We could not be more thrilled. This for sure will be the only place we will ever use and trust to clean our couch and rugs. Wish we would've taken a before photos - - especially of our couch. It looks brand new again! The team is so efficient, professional, and timely. For the size of our couch and rug steamed and cleaned and how timely they are to do it, it's 100% best price and value in our opinion. Look no further!! read more

Just want to give a big thank you to Tanner and the crew at Steam Master ! I have an incredibly stinky bulldog who slobbers and creates unpleasant odors in my home. They did an incredible job on my carpet upstairs, carpet looks new again and it's been a week or so and still no foul dog odors. They also took a big rug I have down stairs and did some sort of magic to it. When they returned it, it was almost new with no hint of dog anywhere on it. I have used other cleaners in the past and haven't had the best of experiences. I would highly recommend Steam Masters read more

Greg the owner is very knowledgeable about getting out All kinds of stains. He always manages to accommodate me when I have emergency stains relating to my dog. They are my go to very experienced carpet cleaners. read more

HIGHLY recommended--they knew just what to do when I brought my old Xinjiang flower vase rug in for cleaning after some 'incidents' with my dog. A week later and for a very fair price, it was clean and beautiful again. I will definitely be back, as my dog doesn't limit herself to just that one rug, alas. read more

Extremely satisfied customer. This is THE best carpet cleaners. My 3 year old doodle is PO'd I returned to work and unfortunately my teenagers "forget" to take the dog out and/or fail to see him snooping for goodies in the trash. Anyway, diarrhea, vomit and my bedroom carpet used as a pee pad. Alex and his crew came out and took the carpets and cleaned and dried them at their warehouse. Price reasonable and I can tell they cleaned the rugs several times and let them dry out in between! Greg owns a class act business read more

I told the guy who came to give me the estimate my couch was pretty new still and what he wanted to charged me was pretty close to what I bought it for same with my other new couch. Then he kept asking me what did I pay before for it at that point I was please leave. Grateful for the other company who came to the rescue. This LOCAL, family run business has been around since the 70'S. My mom used them before I did back in the day. We have used them for home and office carpet cleaning and for area rugs. Steam Master Carpet Cleaners - No stains absolutely immaculate - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

Heads Up! I want to make sure nobody else gets ripped off like I did! Make sure you are calling "The Original" Steam Master of Orange County! Yes, THIS company that has been in Costa Mesa since the 1970's and is family owned and operated. I had a HORRIBLE experience when I accidentally hired a cleaner that has a similar name (Orange County Steam Masters). After investigating, I found out that this isn't even a real carpet cleaning company! They are just a call center that sells leads to independent contractors! Turns out they only use this name for marketing purposes. They did a terrible job on my cleaning, it looked worse than before and they scratched my wood floors. I was furious! I left a 1 star review! However, I ACCIDENTALLY put the review on the wrong page! My apologies to "The Original" Steam Master. Please know... "The Original" Steam Master and "Orange County Steam Masters" are as different as night and day! I could go on and on but the bottom line is if you want a great job at a fair price, make sure you contact Greg and his staff at "The Original" Steam Master in Costa Mesa. Make sure the name of the company is on the truck and on the uniform and on the paperwork. Just hoping to save somebody else from what I went through. You can't be too careful! read more

I hired Steam Master to clean my area rug because it stank from cat urine. They picked it up and a week later brought it back smelling like...nothing!! Yay!! I wouldn't hesitate to call on them again. I'm very happy with their work. read more

Our dog wasn't feeling well and had an accident on a heavily textured rug with woven details, small and large loops, and different heights. We treated immediately and repeatedly with vinegar, baking soda, and enzyme spray, but the color wouldn't come out of the white loops. Try as I might, it was also impossible to get all of the debris out because of the way the rug is woven. I couldn't use my Bissell because any rubbing with the brushes would cause significant damage and feathering/fraying to the loops. Enter Steam Masters. Once again, they were able to rescue one of my rugs. I don't know what kind of magic technique they have, but they were somehow able to get the stains and debris out. It's clear they also got any smell out because neither of our dogs has shown any interest in marking at all. The price was incredibly reasonable and included both pickup and delivery. Thank you guys so much! read more

I used Steam Master carpet cleaning today for the first time and I am in awe. In fact, I am so impressed with their work, I deleted other reviews for carpet cleaners in my area. They sent Noy to do the cleaning, and maybe I just got the luck of the draw, but what a wonderful job this guy did. I thought my carpet was done for, but it literally looks like it was just installed new. My wife couldn't believe it either. She was full ready to replace it altogether. Now it looks like we could get a few more years of life out of it. I now plan on having them out every 6 months and hope they can maintain the excellent work they do. So many times the business relationship starts off great, and then a business slacks off. Hope this is not the case, but I will keep you updated. For now, I can tell you that their work is way, WAY above the average carpet cleaning companies out there who are only interested in wetting down your carpet, grabbing the check and hauling ass. Not this company, the cleaning they do is for real. Today, they just made a 100% repeat client. read more

Steamaster of Orange County on Santa Ana Ave in Costa Mesa is a reputable, well-established family run carpet cleaning business that has served our area for many years. I am soooo happy with the results of my large shag area rug cleaning!! BEWARE to not confuse this family run business with Steamasters ( note the "s")!! I accidentally called the mobile van service thinking it was Steamaster. I had a very unfortunate experience with the mobile van service as they had no office, inexperienced cleaners and the company does not stand behind their work. After over-charging me, carpets under serviced ( pet odors were not removed as I had requested) and No phone call returned. Save yourself frustration and make sure you use the original Steamaster of Orange County in Costa Mesa. They are beyond wonderful!! Patricia B. read more

I have been using this great family owned business for over 2 decades. They are not one of those $99.00 whole house carpet cleaning companies. They spend time to clean your carpets and do an excellent job. I highly recommend this family owned business. read more

Absolutely awful service. We had Steam Master come to our house to do floors. They barely touched them, leaving the floors actually more dirty than when they started. Before the crew left I asked that they finish the work, and they said we did not pay for the extra service. I thought what extra service, Im only talking about the service I paid for. They left, and when I called management I was told they would not come back. This company is scamming people. They are taking people's money, and hiding criticism. Do not do business with them. Buyer beware. read more

My carpet was cleaned well. I was informed by the cleane that if a spot resurfaced within the next few days, they would reclean it as part of the first cleaning service. I called about a section of my carpet that had a line in the carpet that resurfaced. I called every day for a week. I finally spoke to a woman who told me twice that they would reclean the line for a deep cleaning fee. Despite my explanation, she would not authorize a free reclean, so now I'm stuck with this unclean section of t carpet. I'm not satisfied with their service. read more

I have been using Steam Master Carpet Cleaners since the 1990's and would highly recommend their services as they do a very complete and thorough job every time. I continually drop off carpets and area rugs to be cleaned and have had them come to my home to remove, take back to the shop and clean very large area rugs that are in very compromising places in my home. Best in OC, will continue to use for another 30 years. read more

Left a review 4+ years, have used them since and it's still a great experience. Everyone is nice and friendly, arrive on time, and most importantly, the quality is still high.
