I called Ocean Chem-Dry on a Friday and I got an appointment for the next day! My carpets and couch were horribly stained. The couch is 32 years old and the carpet is 5 years old. They had never been cleaned. My off white couch was yellowed and my carpets had dirt and food stains. Edwing did an incredible job! He worked very hard and the carpets and couch are so clean now. I totally recommend this company. read more

Alonso came by as scheduled between the allotted timeframe. He was professional, friendly and did a fantastic job cleaning my bedroom and an area wool rug. He first explained why certain staining can't be cleaned completely like new. But he still did the best he can and I am happy with the results. read more

Outstanding customer service! Edwing came by and explained in detail the different methods of carpet cleaning. After I agreed with the price, he proceeded to provide me with the best cleaning my carpet has ever had. Edwing is honest, knowledgeable, and a fantastic person to do business with. Alonso (owner), is vey nice and professional. Going forward, Ocean Chem-Dry is the only carpet cleaning service I will ever use. read more

Excellent service and cleaning from Edwin at Ocean Chem-Dry! They were able to come the same day to clean up a water spill as well as clean two other rooms. Edwin was super courteous and explained their environmentally friendly cleaning process/solutions. This is the cleanest I've ever seen my carpets! Beyond satisfied!! Thanks Edwin! read more

I want to thank Edwin for teaching me the different methods of cleaning your carpet. By using chem-dry is does make a difference how you clean your carpet cause is better for the environment and safer for your family and if you have pets. Plus just in a couple of hours my carpet was completely dry except for a few spots but no big deal. Plus I got a great deal so thanks again. So when is time to clean my carpet again I know who to call. read more

Outstanding service. He is a Gem. We used his services for our pre inspection move out. He made it look new.

Saw great reviews for this on a local facebook group. For the first time in forever, my carpet is not a soppy wet mess after cleaning. Also had my sofa and cushions done, and EDWIN spent over an hour doing it meticulously (believe me, other services sometimes just kind of blast through furniture requests). Price was very competitive and they showed up on time. What more can you ask for? read more

Showed up exactly on time...Excellent job...very polite...removed all stains....great price...I left for a few hours and was completely dry when I got home...Highly recommend. read more

Edwin did an amazing job on my carpet! He was very professional, very approachable and didn't try to "up sell" me on services that I did not need or want. His work was very thorough and detailed. As suggested, I waited for 2 hours and came back to a dry carpet that a week later still smells clean! Pricing was done online which was fair and reasonable. When it comes time for my carpet to be done again, Ocean Chem-Dry will be my one and only call! read more

Super impressed and extremely happy with the wonderful job done to clean my carpets. Edwin was prompt, professional, friendly and hard working. The carpet looks brand new! I will recommend them to everyone I know. The best!!! read more

These guys are the best. I've been getting my carpet and sofas and even bed mattresses cleaned by them for years. I always come back to them because: (1) They are environmentally friendly. I have 2 dogs and so it matters to me that what is being used is non-toxic. (2) They are able to get out some major puppy stains! (3) The guys are super courteous and actually remember you - it's rare to have that personal touch nowadays so that always makes a positive difference for me. I've always never had any issue booking them just a couple days before I need them to come out. They are prompt, fast, and call you when they are on their way. I definitely recommend them to anyone who values a high quality yet all natural service like I do. read more

Made an appointment a week ago for today and was given a schedule of 12 noon to 1pm. Edwin came at 2:30ish what Alonzo has promised. I expected to pay $82 based on the coupon at bestbuyguide but after assessment of my carpet I was told I have to add $45 for spot removal. Disappointed of course but I had to do it. My disappointment was understood by Edwin & he seems to be apologetic. Day after Alonzo asked about their service, and I told him about the additional charge & he did his best to refund the amount... even personally went to my place! Thanks Alonzo & Edwin! read more

Best carpet cleaners ever! Edwing went above and beyond to clean my carpets and remove pet stains at a very reasonable price. He got out tough stains I thought would never come out. Highly recommend these guys. Their service and prices are great! read more

I don't have very much carpet but every once in while it needs to be professionally cleaned, and they have done a great job several times. They're always very responsive, show up on time, and do a good job. read more

Very affordable compare to other Chem drys and Alonso is by far the greatest. He will satisfied your needs and make sure the job is done correctly. read more

I am very unhappy with the service because they advertise specifically that they specialize in pet odors and stains. I had pet urine odor on my couch and chair and paid $228 for a " special treatment" that was supposed to illuminate the stain and odor. However, it only Made it worse! Even weeks later it was such a strong smell of chemicals and urine that I could not be in my own living room. I called and they came out and retreated it to no avail. The gentleman who came out to my house both times was very nice and I believe he did a good job on his end. But the company owner gives false promises. I had to throw out my furniture and buy new. Don't fall for the false claims! read more

These guys are awesome and fast. I was able to schedule an appointment to get my home carpets cleaned last minute and they were able to accommodate the next day. I love the fact that they use environmentally friendly products to clean the carpets and the best part is the carpets dried quickly! I also had Ocean Chem Dry clean my office and the carpets turned out great too. I highly recommend Ocean Chem Dry! read more

After a few delays we were able to get my carpet cleaned, and it came out great!!!! Thanks again to the owner and Edwin for working hard to make this happen..... carpet came out really good, Edwin did a great job and said to contact them if spots returned etc....added extra treatment too read more

This is the second time I've used Ocean Chem-Dry. They are easy to reach, do a great job at a very good price. Edwing, a great technician and co-owner is very punctual, pleasant and does a great job. He moved all the furniture and cleaned every inch of the main room plus 3 area rugs. I think the price is very reasonable and I will definitely call again. I highly recommend them. They're great! read more

Reposted my 2011 review because some AI at yelp supressed my review 2.0 star rating 7/9/2011 Ok, if I could give them 2.5 stars, I would. Because they were available on short notice (although this is not always a good sign), the price was very competitive, and the guys who showed up were cool and did a really good job on our little apartment carpet--the part that they actually cleaned anyway. It was really soiled, and they got it all out. Dried in hours, too. Which is a plus. Before I describe my problem with their service, let me say up front that I understand that carpet cleaners must have nightmare scenarios that they deal with all the time when someone pulls back a couch or large piece of furniture and exposes dust, dirt, food, and hair and gods-knows-what that hasn't seen the light of day since 1977. I get that. I intentionally pulled every piece of furniture out and cleaned and vacuumed before they arrived. Then I put them back in place. I have a large sectional and a few medium sized tables. Nothing real heavy. All slide-able. I pointed at them and said to the guys, "I vacuumed under there." After they finished and we paid them, I pulled back a sectional piece to see how it looked. It was a different color. It still is. They didn't clean under there. We were outside while they worked, but it turns out their policy is, "We never move a piece of furniture unless you ASK us too." So they just go around anything that is in their way. I was very disappointed, especially since it was CLEAR that there were no nightmares waiting under my couches, and I specifically said so. The small time one-man operation I called in to clean my carpets last year assumed that when I asked to have my carpet cleaned, it means the entire room. Everything. So....hopefully this post will help both sides of the operation: Don't stick your cleaners with nasty grime from the Reagan administration, but make sure you tell them to clean every square inch of carpet in the room! read more

I called ChemDry after receiving a money mailer to do 3 rooms for $76. While I saw other places advertising for cheaper, they had terrible reviews. Plus Ocean Chem-Dry advertised the carpets would be dry in 1-2 hours. I was worried it would be a bait-and-switch operation or they would hard sell you additional spot cleaning. The carpet cleaner showed up early (!) and recommended the spot cleaner, but he in no means pressured my husband into buying it. He cleaned the carpets quickly and helped move the couches back into place. I was in the shower when he showed up and by the time I got out, my husband said he'd already left. So it didn't take long. The carpets look much cleaner. While the results are not miraculous, I can definitely tell a difference and I'm pleased with the result. We had a couple set-in stains that were pretty visible now. They're not completely gone but you have to look for them now. It's been about two hours since he left and the carpets are probably 90% dry. Overall I would use Ocean Chem-Dry again. read more

be careful give you one price on the phone like "special" and then when they show up they give you another price more then 50% higher read more
