Rented a car for 8am so I could pick up my children at the airport at 9am. It's only 30 minutes from here. I preregistered and completed everything possible before arriving. Checked in on my phone at 8 and I am still sitting in the Enterprise lobby at 9:05am waiting for the car. My son has landed already. This is ridiculous. This is my second time at this place. Never again! There is ABSOLUTELY no reason to do anything in advance bc you still wait a long long time!! The first time here the poor employee was terrified of getting in trouble for numerous reasons. This place is just insane! It's anyone's guess when I'll be able to pick them up. Not even middle of the line offerings in features. Basic putt putt. Had to take a video of the vehicle so we weren't responsible for all the dings and interior ware. Also we did not notice a chip in the windshield and it's starting to crack. Took the vehicle back to report it. They said not to worry about it. If it cracks more they'll fix it. Don't know why they just didn't give us another vehicle. If it weren't for another insurance paying for a replacement for the damage done to our brand new car. I wouldn't rent from them. read more

But as I stated before I had a bad case of food poisoning and I am finding out that there was a bunch of my personal items in that car and the complete disregard for my property is unbelievable. Again I lost a brand new coat a nice winter hat and I'm also realizing that I lost all the paperwork for my new puppy it's a bright blue envelope there's no way they could have missed it. I have searched my house multiple times it is not here. I know without a doubt. It was in the car when I returned it . The attitude of both the male employees there only confirmed my suspicions. We weren't happy with our car rental for several reasons, (car issues mostly, that weren't Enterprise's fault) however once returning our rental, we were taken care of by the Assistant Manager Romero, who listened to our concerned and made the rental experience that much better. ;) The door clicker fob key device didn't have batteries in it that worked which made the trip alot more challenging only because you could only unlock the car from the driver's side. There were other car issues but not all the fault of enterprise. No windshield washer fluid or floor mats in the car. Otherwise it was a decent trip. I just would never buy a Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, 2020 model, not a good car. don't use the ECO mode either! read more

This is one of the only Enterprise rental car locations that is located in the Northwest Tucson area, so it is the one that we tend to go to the most. We have generally had pretty good luck with this location and, even if they don't have what we reserved, they usually will upgrade us to something considerably better. Due to everything going on with the Corona virus, they have moved to a much speedier check in system, where they basically just take you right out to the car and have you sign off on the paperwork. So, it's kind of nice to not be asked 50 additional questions like the satellite radio and all the other up-sells. I'm hoping that they keep this model even after things calm down, because it's a lot more efficient than it used to be. So overall, I would probably recommend this location to most people if they have a need to rent a car. read more

My Enterprise experience is a bit complicated but only because it features two different reservations from two different insurance companies. I called them several times and spoke to various people but somehow still got the short end of the stick. I was told I'd be getting a Nissan Altima or something similar, upon arrival, I was offered a Nissan Frontier with the option to come back later when they had more cars. Mind you, a woman (with a reservation) walked in and got a brand new Dodge Challenger. So why was I given this for a more than week long reservation and she just needed the car for the day? Also, what happen to the mantra "Enterprise, we'll pick you up?" Apparently, that's only if you ask. I was picked up after the place I dropped my car off at called them, then made to wait about half an hour while they cleaned the truck I didn't want. So of course I came back later, mind you after missing four hours of work that morning dealing with them because they don't open until 730 and business doesn't start until 8. So I had to put gas back in the frontier to turn it in only to be given the option of a Nissan Sentra, that isn't an Altima!!!!! I ended up in a Jeep Wrangler after pointing out the type of vehicle the insurance was paying for.. long story long, go somewhere else. read more

If I could put negative stars I would. Oscar which claims to be the manager at this location was rude. They didn't have the car we reserved and he kept trying to put us in a huge truck. When they had a smaller car but just needed to clean it. I've never encountered someone with so little regard for any source of customer service specially when it was their fault. Need to review these guys before I forget. We are going to California tonight and booked a mini van two weeks ago with this location. They were to pick up my wife at 4:30pm from work which is about 5 minutes from them. After several call and run around on the pick up they finally got her 5 minutes ago (5:55pm). They had been giving her attitude when she was asking where the heck they were and also disclosed that they do not have any minivans available. Great! Ryan the Branch Manager at this location is a great guy and runs a good operation, however, the corporation leaves a great deal to be desired. The cars that Enterprise corporation now rents are just plain boring and no longer fun to drive. I've rented from Enterprise for a couple decades at places all over the country and I have some fond memories of some snazzy and fun cars. A new Infinity in LA, a mondo purple Maxima that was the talk of the White Mountains and a Volvo Sports car, with heated seats and unique lines, that was the bomb on the Monterey Peninsula, to name just a few. So many fine memories Now what do you get? A white Altima (one of the worst cars there is to drive), a Honda Fit ( a noisy cracker box on wheels), a gutless plain white 6 cylinder Dodge Magnum and a Crown Vic that was powerful and fun to drive if you could forget what a geezer car it is. These cars are memorable only because they were so bad or so embarrassing. What has happened to this fine company and its once fine cars? read more

Will never rent a car from them again at any of there locations. I was in an accident and my insurance company rented me a car from them. First the lady that picked me up at Gerber collision drove like she was on the indy 500 she didn't even wait until I got my seat belt on. Just started driving fast to get back to the office. Then when I returned the vehicle I was told I could leave the car at Gerber Collision and I saw no dents on the car but got a call the next day from enterprise saying it was dented and they wanted my $500.00 deductible. Guess what their bill turned out to be for the damage $529.00. I think they are nothing but a rip off company and have also relayed this to my insurance company. Manager is self centered, no grasp of customer SERVICE! Indifferent about repeat business, makes up his own rules that are entirely inconsistent with published Enterprise policies and will spring them on you when you are thereto pick up your reserved rental! Last time I was there he demanded I show proof I had purchased an insurance policy to cover whatever auto I rented, or buy Enterprise insurance which would have taken a $30 rental to almost $100. I refused to allow him to do that to me. So I wound up with no rental and had to hire Uber to bring me home! After receiving my monthly Enterprise Plus statement touting the end of weekend special rates and offering $75 bonus points if I reserved a weekend rental, I decided to see if I insured a vehicle I'm restoring, not in working condition, if a policy would cover a rental car, it would!?? I discovered Chub offers rental car insurance at $9-$10 daily with comprehensive no deductible coverage. They also offer an annual policy for less than $250 with comprehensive, glass and flat tire coverage plus more! I have enough points to rent a car costing $50 daily thirty times at no cost using the points. So I bought the insurance, and rented a vehicle via their weekend special. I selected the beginning and ending dates, hit enter and discovered it is not offered any more??!! Plus with Monday a holiday Enterprise is closed, cannot return a vehicle that day. I got a price for the four day rental, over $200 and paid for it with my points aster buying the Chub annual policy for around $240. Since the manager has ambushed me in the past I called customer service to get the exact requirements needed. They ran through what is on the web if you use a Debit Card and I pointed out that the local manager did not follow enterprise policy, demanded more including proof of insurance to cover rentals and that I cannot provide a pay check stub since I'm retired on SSI(the local manager complains I'm unwilling to provided needed documentation when I point out people on SSI do no get pa check stubs!!). They went back to telling me it isn't necessary if I can provide to current utility bills. AGAIN I pointed out that this manager does not follow policy and demands proof of insurance for rental vehicles and a pay check stub. AGAIN I pointed out that I need to know exactly what documentation I need to provide to rent. I got transferred to someone who mentioned that the manager is protecting how much he gets paid because any any damage to a vehicle, including a flat tire is charged against him and is only removed when it is payed for...Self interest top priority, customer service not considered! I relayed how the last time I was thee he ambushed me so I needed to know exactly what documentation was required to rent so that I could bring it all, and asked what to do about a pay check stub when SSI does not give paycheck stubs. I offered a Social Security statement and a bank statement showing a monthly deposit from SSI. He put me o hold saying he was transferring me. After a long wait someone answered and asked what can I do for you? GREAT!! I get transferred with out the person brought up to speed as to why I've been transferred to him, dumped in his lap! I start explaining I need the exact documentation I needed to bring to rent a vehicle because the local manager seems to keep making up things and does not follow published Enterprise policy. The reply was proof of insurance when using a debit card is published policy and he will NEVER rent a vehicle to me, and he hung up!! I called customer service again, absolutely no help except telling me they would notify the area manager. Fine! What do I do about the plans I've made for the four day weekend, the places I'm supposed to be,the people I've lined up to visit, the errands I've lined up at HomeDepot/L:owes, pharmacy for medication refills, food shopping a three different grocery stores, 20 minute trip to Total Wine and More and my dinner date tonight? He will notify the area manager who will make accommodations. RIGHT!! Enterprise was not going to do ANYTHING!! So here I am at home for this four day vacation, doing without my prepaid rental, after spending $240 to make sure I could meet this mangers demand for proof I'm insured when driving a rental! Hiring Uber to take me around Tucson should come under $100. Thanks Enterprise for making this Memorial Day four day weekend so memorable!! Anyone notice the age discrimination!!?? My service was quick, the compact car I reserved was not what they had and what was left at this busy time of year (3/2018) was sooooo small, my husband would have never fit. Upgraded to a full size and they worked some magic with my numbers to keep me close to the range that I was expecting to pay and had a much more comfortable vehicle to share with my husband and be able to take my 80 year old mom in easily. Their door to door service for pick up is one-of-a-kind. We had a slight delay getting me there,but it was a no fault situation and the gentlemen upgraded me out of sheer courtesy.The car, a 2015 Camry, behaved wonderfully with only an air pressure light popping up in Arizona's far north. My driving supervisor noticed this and we called their office. The only drawback with quick-fix was that the closest Sam's Club was 20 miles north of our destination. So we rolled with it, saw some snow and a dead deer,and the guy in Tires at warehouse took care of the rest. There was some initial concerns about deal made but the VP in(480) was very responsive so I say thumbs up overall! read more

The WORST place to go for a rental! Collision shop sent us over with a reservation number. Quickly realized that means nothing. It was 8am and we were told they didn't have anything available at the moment but vehicles were getting detailed and it would be about 15 minutes. We were pretty patient until 15 turned into an hour. "Almost done" turned into another 30 minutes. At 9:40, patience wore out. Had a10am appointment I needed to get to! The guy told he only had a mini van but we could come back and switch it for a car after my appointment "no problem." Returned at 1:30, was told they had a car they're finishing up and it should be about 10-15 minutes. A lady near by said, "they said 15 minutes and I've been waiting an hour." Here we go! 20 minutes, no car. Another person came in with a reservation, was told to be there at 1:30, which she was and was told it would be about a 30 minute wait, the car was getting cleaned up...LIES! Then we were told ours would be up in the next 5 minutes. It wasn't, patience gone. Walked around back, "our" car was sitting there, just been sprayed down, they had not even started on the outside other than the spray but no one was working on anything. Did the walk-around and took the car. Amazing how they just flat out lie to people. And their go-to line, "They're just finishing up. It should be about 10-15 minutes." Watching people come in or call and they get the same line. Couldn't believe it. Not to mention, phone ringing off the hook, half the calls don't get answered while the "office mgr" sits 10 feet away in her office listening to upset customers, phong going unanswered, trash can spilling over, flies galore. Then became defensive that our reservation was not until 2 hours later so they do not have much for us now... It was a bit too combative for me. This place is absolutely terrible!! I had my insurance set me up with a reservation. I was there over an hour 1/2 waiting. They had a total of 2 people working and a lobby full of people waiting. I ended up in this disgusting Hyundai which is not even equivalent to my car! This car smelled like an ash tray and cat piss. I was lied to and was told my insurance didn't cover me if something happens to the car and ended up paying for the additional coverage .They didn't walk around the car to inspect anything or give any details on the vehicle. I was told I could call later to swap it out.. when doing so this lady was incredibly rude to me and said we have more cars now but we don't reserve for anyone.. I ended up trading the car in at the Wetmore location and was only there 5 mins. They already had the premium car reserved for me and I was able to receive a receipt. I've been renting from Enterprise long before this location was opened. Once this (Ina) location opened I've rented here ever since. My biggest complaint is the management turnover. I used to rent at least twice a month prior to the recession. The manager and staff would just start to get to know me and then POW, they were transferred somewhere else. That is still the case a decade later. Their quality of cars is hit or miss. You might get a newer clean car or a 30k mile job with stains on the seats. Often the cars are filthy, especially the windows and mirrors. A couple of times I chose to drive my own car over what they offered me. A couple of times, as was the case this time, the car was there, but hadn't been cleaned. I had to wait 15-20 minutes for a quick and not so good wash and vacuum. On my last rental I dropped of the car 20 minutes early and put the keys in their key drop for convenience. The vehicle wasn't checked in until 1:45 pm and I was charged for a 3rd day after returning it early. This also happened to me a couple years earlier as well. I returned the car Saturday morning before they opened and was charged for an entire weekend! I was asked to bring in a gas receipt to prove I had fueled it right before I returned it Saturday morning. It would have been easier for them to check their security footage to see when I returned it. I also rented in LA had a tire problem with the car and exchanged at John Wayne airport. They didn't do a thorough inspection with me. When I returned it to the Tucson airport I was accused of damaging the car even though the damage was preexisting. It was a horrible experience and the manager on duty nearly pushed me to have a panic attack. I think I've been loyal to Enterprise too long. Next time I rent I'm going to give another company a try. read more
