Stayed here for a night. Sky Level. Not worth it . When I booked the day in person, the receptionist gave me falso hope. Stating my room is really nice that it even had it's own living room! Got to the room. No living room. Places needed definitely to be wiped dowen and cleaned still. There was a crack in the sink. Bed skirt was so old it had a big whole in it. Tried to call to complain. Took forever for someone to pick up until I eventually gave up. I am like whatever I only have to put up with it for a night right. I was too tired too from a long day. What a disappointment. And to add to it TV was so small. For it to be on a SKy level. Would at least have something nicer. I can get more for else where and pay less. Don't waste your $$$$... When I was checking out I tried to tell receptionist of my ordeal she just brushed me off no apology whatsoever or anything.

Main Hotel is very lavish; side Hotel Estrella is okay, newer, more family friendly. Conference area was straight forward and labeled well. They provide maps, it was pretty easy to get around. The service is what made it great for me. Loved the Estrella Tower front desk, when I checked in, and checked out both times staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Parking behind and in front of the building. Before I came, I purchased my stay online but ran into an issue, called, and their customer service fixed it, and were so friendly. I also called for late check in and late check out and they happily applied it. Excellent service.

Title: Terrible Anniversary Experience - Rodents, Undercooked Food, Lost Property, and Unresponsive Management I rarely write reviews, but our experience at Casino Del Sol in Tucson was so shocking and distressing that I feel compelled to share everything. My girlfriend and I were celebrating our fifth anniversary on September 25-26, 2025. I had planned this special night carefully, having finally turned of age and excited to try the casino for the first time. I had heard so much about it over the years and was really looking forward to finally experiencing it. Sadly, it turned out to be nothing like the advertisements or our expectations. From the start, our plans were stressful. We booked a hotel online, called to confirm, and were told our reservation wasn't in the system. We had to buy another, more expensive room, which we couldn't cancel due to Experian policies. Still, we tried to make the best of it. That evening, we headed to the buffet, hungry and excited. The food options were extremely limited--mostly sides--and what they did have was poorly prepared. My girlfriend ordered pasta with broccoli and chicken, made in front of her by a chef. The broccoli was hard and undercooked, and my small plate of baked vegetables, pizza, and baked potato was equally disappointing. We sat down, took our first bites, and started a conversation about how even Olive Garden or Texas Roadhouse would have been better. That's when everything fell apart. Within minutes, my girlfriend spotted at least four rats running around our table. She was terrified and ran from the restaurant crying. I looked and saw 2-3 more rodents under our table and immediately documented the incident with photos and videos. What made this worse was that the restaurant continued to operate, letting more guests in and not informing those already eating. Diners around us had no idea there was an infestation in the dining room. Despite undeniable proof, the casino staff were reluctant to help. They only refunded our buffet after I showed the video but still charged us for my girlfriend's drink. We were given no apology, no compensation, and no reassurance that they would take corrective action. The buffet carried on like nothing had happened. We left shaken, nauseous, and still hungry. Uber Eats or DoorDash were outside our budget, and we had been drinking, so we ended up going to bed hungry on our anniversary. We told ourselves that maybe breakfast in the morning would make up for it, but the next morning things only got worse. While packing at around 10:30 a.m. (with checkout at 11 a.m.), we realized my girlfriend's watch was missing. I rushed to security while helping load the truck. The handling by security was completely unprofessional: * I was told a staff member had found an item the previous night but wasn't told what it was. * After 15 minutes, another guard said it wasn't my girlfriend's watch. * They never documented the situation, never asked for a photo or description, and never offered me an incident report. * Instead, I was told to simply call back at 4 p.m. to check if housekeeping had turned it in. I then spoke with hotel manager Nicole to see if anything could be done: a refund, compensation, even just an apology. She told me she couldn't compensate me. When I explained how poorly security handled the missing watch, she informed me that I should have filled out an incident report--something security never even mentioned. My attempt to escalate to the Food & Beverage Director was also ignored. At this point, the failures were overwhelming: undercooked food, rodent infestation, unsafe dining, unprofessional security, lost property mishandled, and completely unresponsive management. It left us emotionally distressed, worried for our health, and robbed us of a special anniversary I had worked hard to plan. It's been days since the incident. I have called, emailed, and left voicemails, and I still have not heard back or received my refund. This shows a total lack of care for customers. Maybe next anniversary will be better--certainly not at Casino Del Sol, because I would never come back here again. Honestly, a night at Olive Garden or Texas Roadhouse would have been a hundred times better than this nightmare. We've since reported the incident to the Arizona Department of Health Services, Pima County, the Arizona Department of Gaming, and the BBB. The fact that the casino has yet to provide even a basic apology speaks volumes. In my opinion, this experience also highlights why we need more small businesses, because smaller restaurants usually show real love, appreciation, and quality. Bigger corporations like this casino just focus on advertising and profits, while ignoring serious health violations and customer safety.

Casino del Sol has the best bingo, and I've won before! The service is great and the people are really kind.

Been here a few times, but never ordered food from the hotel lobby bar. The first server (mgr) was great but the bartender wasn't. The food was to go - confirmed 3 times, but was delivered at our table. The frys w my burger were horrible and the $13 side salad was just as bad and super small for the cost. Not sure if we are coming back, and even had plans to stay at the hotel in January.

My sister and I both visited the ranch on a day pass and were told that one of the restaurants was closed for renovations. The construction was not mentioned when we booked which I would have thought to be worth mentioning in order to set expectations. Unfortunately the restaurant we did eat at left us both quite sick. I will spare details and just say avoid eating here! After spending a day on the property I do believe renovations are much needed... far far beyond just the restaurant. The entire property is quite run down. At the spa I booked a collagen lifting facial - the aesthetician asked a few questions and found that I was not a candidate for the treatment as I have had a metal disc replacement in my neck (the microcurrent technology for VENN required there to be no metal in between your face and where they ground you with a wet sponge in your armpit... makes sense - however... why was this not asked in advance? The aesthetician had to scramble to come up with another treatment option for the time slot that I had booked and essentially did a custom makeshift job so it was a "sort of" collagen lifting facial. This could have been avoided with due diligence. I will give credit to the aesthetician in thinking on her feet and being pleasant when another staff member put her in a predicament. The last thing that was a bit off putting on our visit was an elderly blonde lady in the Pilates room... she was working out and jumped up when we came in with a quite rude and loud "Can I help you?" - As if we interrupted her workout rather than us being guests of the property. I am a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor so wanted to show my sister a new move on the machine that I thought she would love. However when I asked about using the machines she told us "Management policy - you cannot use the machines" ...which also makes me wonder if she's the Pilates instructor? I don't know who else would try to implement fake rules that aren't posted. We chose not to cause a scene or question her so just left the bad energy. At least we got a good laugh about a crazy women on her high horse after! It seems that the great reputation that Canyon Ranch had is no longer - perhaps the MA property is different and holds this one up. Certainly not recommending the Tucson establishment to anyone anytime soon. We walked away from our spa day not only disappointed but quite sick from the food poisoning. Not recommended in the least.

After my first visit, I will plan to return - it was honestly really transformative! There were alot of activities across mind/body/heart; we did a bunch of classes (improv, painting class, mindfulness, nutrition, cocktail mixing, hiking, bird watching, mountain biking, massages, yoga), worked with the rescue horses, and i even got a personalized posture assessment with personalized work out plans. All snacks, meals and non-alcoholic beverages are included. The green juices, golden milks, turmeric shooters are bottomless here along with burgers, tiny portion meals and healthy desserts. I felt rejuvenated following my visit and privileged to be able to experience. I believe they also offer day passes potentially as well. Heads up, the rooms are very dated! And for the price ($1500-$3000/nt) you would definitely expect nicer rooms but the experiences (both paid and free) really make up for it! Many of the food items were stale (bread, cookies, tortilla chips). The "hors d'oeuvres" were stale tortilla chips, crudite, and various dips. My sister had a prenatal massage, and the provider smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which is completely inappropriate and was very uncomfortable for her. My own 50-minute Sacred Sounds massage was disappointing. The session started 5-6 minutes late, but still ended on time. It was advertised as including breath work, but there was no breath work component. The advertisement does not make it clear that the sound bowl portion dominates the treatment, leaving me with maybe 15 minutes total time for a full body massage. This felt misleading and not what I paid top tier pricing for. It was difficult to find the location of a couple activities, which led to us missing them. One was the stretch class, which is supposed to be at the Body Mindfulness Center. Once we arrived to the BMC, there were no signs directing us where to go. There are several rooms off the main gym, but none had a sign indicating which one the stretch class was in. The 2-hour archery class included at least a full hour of talking and information before you even get to try the activity. Checkout was unnecessarily complicated for us and another group of women. This caused our airport shuttle to leave late. The shuttle took longer than we were told, which led to us getting to the airport only 45 min before our flight took off. Miraval had been a bucket list experience for my sister and I for years. To say that we were wildly disappointed is an understatement. While our room was beautiful, we found ourselves looking at other luxury wellness resorts to try in the future. Miraval charges top tier pricing and is routinely on many travel publications' lists for must-do wellness experiences. It certainly did not live up to that reputation.
