Everyone was extremely helpful, understanding, and did everything possible to make sure I was treated like a VIP. Their customer service went way beyond what I expected. Whenever you're in Sturgis, this is the team to go with! A very special thank you to Dieter, as well as Melissa Guerrero from headquarters, who helped make it possible for us to drop off our motorcycles at the airport. The two of them went above and beyond to help us find a solution, anthat alone showed me what real customer service is all about. A little background: We tried to arrange transportation from EagleRider at Full Throttle to the airport early in the morning. A taxi/Uber/Lyft option was going to cost us over $300 just to get to the airport! I understand it was early in the morning, but that price was outrageous. Dieter and Melissa stepped up and worked with us so we could drop the motorcycles off directly at the airport, saving us a huge amount of money and making everything work out perfectly. That is customer service at its absolute best. Instead of saying, "Sorry, that's not our problem," they found a solution and took care of us. The bikes are well-maintained and very clean. He is very knowledgeable about motorcycles in general, and Harley-Davidsons in particular. I enjoyed talking about their history and innovations. Fascinating! His shop is decorated with all sorts of cool stuff. We were even offered a great cup of coffee while we were getting ready for our ride. Kevin's passion for motorcycles really shows. Unfortunately, the day we arrived the water main broke Anna had no water for a day and a half. However, the office refunded one night stay without us even asking. I will say the RV's were only feet apart from each other so was a little noisy in the morning. The office store was nice. It had a coffee machine and many souvenirs. The people running the faculty were amazing. My husband needed emergency dental work and they gave us a few hours extra to check out.

The good: The two showers that one half of the entire park shares are pretty nice and big with a toilet and sink in it. A private area to shower. The bad: The water pressure. The good: The one-room cabin is nice. The bad: No refrigerator in the cabin. The very worst thing is that the night we got there, the front desk did not know that the trolley was regularly running, with several people on it. Instead, they said we would have to text or call the driver. (He is busy driving.........!) So needless to say, we drove and as we were driving down the KOA driveway,leaving to go to Deadwood, we had to move out of the way for the &;&;)@$ trolley that was driving up. Would have been nice if the front desk would have made it their business to find out trolley info. One more thing: The two donkeys running loose made all the dogs go nuts.

Room was also next to where they served breakfast, so at around 6 am you could hear them preparing for the morning meal. Lots of clunking and slamming things. Shower head leaked like a sieve, so it made for an interesting shower. Place was neat and clean, just REALLY LOUD. Things might have been different if it wasn't for that weird room we had? After stopping at the Holiday Inn Express in Mitchell, I looked to see what that room was here....sure enough, it was storage and restrooms. If they try and give you room 125, RUN.

She has a rose tattoo on her right forearm and she has a GREAT attitude. Our boxer dog even took two treats from her. && Kenya doesn't even like treats! We stayed at this campsite and event center for the 75th anniversary of the famous Sturgis, SD…read moreHarley rally. This was the first year for this campground. The whole team there did a fabulous job! There was nothing they would not do to ensure their guests were comfortable, taken care of and having all their needs met. We were in a RV, our water and other plumbing needs were taken care of every day with no wait times. Breakfast was served every morning and was delicious! Every single person there was cheerful and seemed happy to be there. I highly recommend this campground. Please be sure you get the armband for "da bus" so you can just hop on and off at various destinations and not have to worry about driving. Truly a great experience- we will be back!!
