What I couldn't overlook which unfortunately came to light a few days after delivery. I unfortunately bought this vehicle in South Dakota when I live in Arizona. My wife and I were in a bind as our current vehicle broke down so I needed to get us something immediately so I decided to purchase a vehicle. Well after searching I found the Ram 1500 that they just took in on trade. They say they inspected it but just as soon as we get back into Arizona the check engine light comes on. I truly believe they erased the codes, but of course they deny it. I've put in an extra 2000 so far to try to resolve but am still chasing the resolution which is probably going to cost another 2k. So buyers beware of their used cars. They will erase the codes to make the sale and say you had 3 days and 500 miles to discover and return. I was in a bind and they knew what they were doing. Well guess what Arizona is a 16hr drive one way and well over 500 miles so before I even left Colorado I was beyond their 500 return policy. Save your money and go to a much more reputable auto dealer. Steer clear of Juneks or anything associated with them.

Seemed flippant when he came back and said that there were 65 water pumps on back order and appeared like he didn't care we were traveling from another state when are brand new jeep failed. If you live in or around Spearfish South Dakota please think what kind of service you want. We by luck made it to Billings Montana where a real Chrysler dealership help us out greatly.

A family vacation to see Deadwood, Mt. Rushmore, and the sights of western South Dakota came very…read moreclose to being a disaster, which was averted by the service of White's Canyon Ford and service manager Marc Weimer. After driving 3 days from California, we took a little side detour to Devil's Tower in Wyoming. Going up the hill, our van (a wheelchair adapted E-150) suddenly would not shift higher than 2nd gear. Instead of going into high gear, it would pop into neutral and suddenly over-rev. Nothing I could do would get that to change so we Googled the nearest Ford dealer, which was White's Canyon in Spearfish, SD...about 40 miles away. We limped it in, getting into the dealer around lunch time. Marc pulled a couple of strings to get our van looked at right away. Unfortunately, he had bad news...and worse news. Our van needed a new transmission (I suspect the lube shop that did the service before we left used the wrong transmission fluid). The dealer did not have a replacement in stock so one had to be ordered from Salt Lake City and would take about a week to arrive. Now we were looking at a lost vacation, a very expensive repair, and not knowing what was going to happen to us for the next week to ten days with a son in a very expensive and heavy wheelchair to deal with. Marc said not to worry, he was going to take us under his wing and do what he could to make sure we could at least still enjoy our vacation. He talked the owner into lending us a van, found us a place to rent a lightweight manual wheelchair (since we no longer had a wheelchair lift available to us), and promised to keep in touch to let us know when the replacement came in. Long story short, we still got to enjoy our trip...although it extended to 20 days instead of the 11 planned...they got the van fixed (it runs great, with a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty), and a big, dark cloud of worry and disappointment was lifted from our heads. We left the dealership shaking hands and wearing smiles, thankful for the helpful service and compassion of the service staff at White's Canyon Ford.

Great Service. A staple in the community, long tenured staff who know and care for their customers.read more

I want warn you to consider not buying a used car from Liberty based on our experience with them…read morewhen we bought a used VW Beetle last year. Literally days after our purchase the car's clutch failed catastrophically. We towed it in. The fix would be 6,000$. I protested. They would only agree to cover labor which I will admit is more than they legally had to. However, they basically said we caused the failure. Which was a lie not to mention extremely disappointing. Our independent mechanic confirmed that there was no way we could have caused that damage after a week(I showed them the photos sent to us from the Liberty VW Service department) Now we are almost a year into this car, and it has begun to throw an EPC light and check engine light. It randomly does this stutter and will often die at stops. We towed it in about a month ago. We had an appointment and got it there about 30 minutes late. A Tuesday, they did not even look at it until the following week. They eventually called and it would be 1000+ to fix. I looked at the bill. There was + 2 diagnostic charges that added up to nearly 400$. When I brought this to their attention they said. "Sorry there was an extra 200$ charge that should not have been there. Ok, great. Glad I caught that. The work was done. We paid 710$ and were on our way. The very next week the EPC and check engine lights were back on again and the car was again shuddering and dying. The car is in the shop again as I write this. The 2nd visit for the same issue we just paid close to 1,000$ to "fix". When I brought it back, I calmly explained my disappointment it this car from the very beginning till today. The service manager's demeanor immediately changed and he became very defensive. Dismissed my complaints as out of his control. My bad for not being happy to eat another repair bill on a car that should have been on the corner of Joe Bob's Used Cars. Lesson learned. Liberty is bad. Avoid.

After discovery I took it back to the dealer and they told me to take it to their body shop and they would repair it. Friendly people until they get your money and then rude and dishonesty. My first experience after moving here a couple months ago, these people can go to hell!
