I like hanging around in the morning and make new friends in this place. It's convenient, clean and the (young) staff very friendly. During the rally the parking is packed with cool vendors. They also don't gouge the gas price. Make sure you stop say hi and check all the stuffed trophies.

Their small cabins have no running water however the bathrooms are only steps away. The bathroom building has showers and laundry available and they keep them squeaky clean. Very nice amenities. The cabins themselves come with AC, heat, Cable TV, microwave and mini fridge. Each cabin also has a provided picnic table, fire pit and BBQ pit. We brought our own propane cooktop and pop up shade. Both are not a necessity. The General store and gas station were super convenient and vendors fill the parking lot at rally time. The store has almost everything you might need while camping. The jerky and gourmet pickle selection was awesome! We also enjoyed the dried fruit. All available at the general store. Another great stay at a high class camping lodge!!! We ordered takeout from this restaurant and so I cannot speak to the dining experience. We arrived around brunch time, and it was around then that people slowly began to trickle in on the weekend. Of note, this was the only restaurant that comes up when you search "restaurants" on google maps in Cheyenne Crossing in the Black Hills in case anyone has trouble finding it on google maps. In addition, there is no service here by the way. The restaurant is attached to the gift shop, and there is a small gas station right outside as well. We just ordered their Indian Taco, which is basically a huge piece of thick frybread with various nacho toppings such as ground beef, sour cream, tomato, lettuce, cheese, and salsa. While it costs about $15, the size of this Indian Taco can feed you at least 2-3 meals, depending on how hungry you are. The takeout was quick to come out, and while we waited, we enjoyed some of the table games (nail balancing game, marble game, etc).

The campground is beautifully tucked between the walls of a scenic gulch, surrounded by greenery and wildlife--including a little black bunny that seems to call the campground home. It's incredibly clean, organized, well managed, and paved throughout, which we especially appreciate because it keeps the dust off our RV and vehicles. You can see the thoughtful care everywhere. All RV sites have full hookups, trash is picked up right from your campsite, and there's a basketball court, yard games, and a clean pool and pool deck--perfect after a hot day of sightseeing. There are also tent sites with water and electricity, as well as cabins, so there's something for everyone. The staff is outstanding--friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The charming log cabin office has a comfortable lounge area and basic camping supplies for anything you may have forgotten. Another great feature is the Deadwood trolley, which stops at the campground about every 20 minutes. For only $2, you can ride downtown and enjoy the restaurants, bars, shops, museums, and attractions without worrying about driving or parking. After all these years, we continue to be impressed by how much care goes into Whistler Gulch. It's beautiful, convenient, welcoming, and has helped us create many wonderful memories in Deadwood. We highly recommend it and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Ample room in the spots, a great pool and laundry room, nestled in between two peaks so the stars shine bright and they can accommodate everything from super long to popping a dang tent! Everyone in the office is soooo nice, I'm talkin to you Robin, Tammy and Linda! There's a really friendly man who rolls around in the golf cart too but I don't know his name. Communicative, helpful and making sure everyone is enjoying themselves is what this place is all about.... Also, this location is perfect to enjoy the rally (or whatever event is happening) in either Deadwood or Sturgis but not you're be stuck in the chaos. It's nice and quiet. We've met some great friends camping here though. People walking their dogs or just taking a stroll will stop by if you give them a smile, and I really like that. This is one of those reviews I hope works out well for the establishment but doesn't make it harder for me to get in...... that has happened lol Totally worth the risk though..... it's a great place to vacation so I had to share!

I've been telling people to save, so they can join in the fun next year. Marcus was always answering texts very speedily, sorry Marcus, I know I was a pain the first hour, texting you with so many questions. The camp was clean, the tents were convenient and efficient, and I liked the common area with fireplaces to hang out with fellow riders, also to get your morning java and charge your phones through the day. Also the light path to the tent was a great idea, especially if you need to go to the special, clean and locked toilets just for our guests, in the middle of the night. The location of camp was close enough to hear the amazing bands play, that's to say, if you didn't feel like venturing out over the bridge to see them in person, it's also located right opposite bikini beach where you will find some eye candy for the gals and guys, but more for the guys lol. Food vendors were good and plentiful too. After a long ride. Who feels like pitching a tent, this was all ready at Camp Easy. Literally arrive, sleep, party and repeat. The daily emails up to the event from Marcus was very informative as well. Marcus, and crew you have a good thing going over here.
