Brenton picked me up right on time (GREAT customer service!) and he was polite and professional. He knew I was tight on my budget and did his best to answer all of my questions to select the coverage I desired, while not paying a penny more! I had reserved an Intermediate and received a compact but Sean and Brenton made up for it so I could save money. Brenton and Sean were patient with me even beyond closing on Sunday! Sean clearly knows and represents Enterprise exceptionally well, and took extra steps to make payments smooth for future rentals. Brenton and Sean alerted me of the weekend special which is so perfect for my family since we are car-less at this time. I plan to use it most weekends to enjoy life with my child and to be able to do more errands quickly. Please know these 2 staff members are why I will return and way more than I expected to. They should be commended for their excellent customer service!

I like the app and website for Enterprise. I've rented multiple times from Enterprise. I'm a part of their Enterprise Plus loyalty program. I've always found Enterprise to be a convenient, painless experience. On this occasion. I've never had to wait so long for a rental vehicle with so few people in line. And the vehicle was dirty inside and out. I had to ask them to clean it again before I left. REALLY DIRTY. I made my reservation on the website for a Saturday , 4/25, 9 a.m. pickup. Easy peasy so it seemed. I actually got a call the day before from a rental agent who said they might be short on vehicles if someone doesn't return on time, but they would pickup up a vehicle from one of their dealers if necessary, and 10 a.m. would be the time I'd be out of there if that was the case. She asked if I wanted to show up later just in case that happened. I said I'd show up at the original time in case all the returns were on time. I appreciated the call and heads up. I try to be flexible and roll with things. When I arrived on Saturday morning, before they opened their doors, I was optimistic because I saw a vehicle from a distance matching what I reserved in the lot. Still dripping from being washed. Confidence was high. When they opened their doors there were I think 3 customers in line ahead of me (not including spouses, etc..). At least one of the people in front of me was a walk-in. No reservation. They took forever, and weren't picking up a vehicle until later in the day from what I gathered . Great. There was only one rental agent to start with. And another one showed maybe a half hour later. We were going nowhere fast. At one point the agent announced she was checking everyone in first. And then people would get their cars. Understaffed, she said. That's a TERRIBLE system. If you can call that a system. Another customer was on some deadline pressure to return a loaner vehicle at the dealer and they weren't going to make it. When they got to me, I did the walk around with the 2nd agent and the car seemed pretty dirty on the outside once I got closer, although you could see water droplets from being washed. I mentioned this to the agent, and she said, yeah, the previous renter probably went out to the woods or something. We finished the checkout process and she went on to the next customer. Before I left, I wanted to make sure I understood how to fold down and stow the seats, that's why I rented this particular vehicle. Supposed to be effortless. When I opened the compartments to stow the seats it was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY. Food, crayons, garbage. I was going to put my bag in one of those compartments. Even before I opened the compartments there were wrappers and crumbs visible still under and behind seats. I was 100% grossed out (see my photos if you want to be horrified too) . I didn't want to get blamed for the mess and dirty vehicle. And I shouldn't be paying to rent a dirty vehicle. I waited until the rental agent was done with another customer and I told her I needed the vehicle cleaned again. To their credit they took it back and took another crack at it. It took another 10 minutes maybe? They apologized again for being understaffed (only one detailer and he did his best but their vacuum isn't good for detailing. That sounds problematic to me.) Anyway between standing in line, having the vehicle cleaned again, adjusting the mirrors, etc.. I didn't get on the road until about 10:15 a.m.. It shouldn't take that long to pickup a rental vehicle when pickup time was 9 a.m. I'm still a loyal customer. I'll continue to rent from Enterprise, but customers shouldn't be standing around waiting for that long or receive vehicles this dirty. If you choose to rent from this location, be prepared to wait and hour or more before you get on the road. I suggest taking care of people who made online reservations first. Especially if they did the online check-in process already and are Enterprise Plus members. If staffing is the underlying issue, please hire more people. If training is an issue, please do more training. And please buy a better vacuum. And charge the customer that rented this vehicle before me $10,000 for trashing it.

Using a hack that I learned from Dan O., I went online to Autoslash.com to find the lowest price for an economy car. I was referred to Priceline where I made a reservation with Dollar Car Rental. When I arrived at SeaTac Airport, I caught the free shuttle to the Rental Car Facility and followed the signs to the Dollar desk. Because it was early morning (around 6:30am), no one was at the desk. I caught the elevator to the First Floor (as directed by the sign) where I found the small office with no air conditioning. The agent told me to leave my luggage outside of the office while I completed the paperwork. Yikes! Anyway, I answered all questions and found the blue, 4-door Toyota Prius in the assigned stall. However, I wasn't able to shift the gears. I went back to the office to explain my dilemma. The agent followed me back to the car and gave me a quick tutorial. Ahh... hybrid engines are quiet. I need to shift to drive before shifting to reverse. The Prius turned out to be a good choice because I was able to squeeze into tight parking spaces. The apartment where my niece lives doesn't have a parking lot nor parking garage. Street parking is limited. Also, the Prius was very fuel efficient! I drove from Seattle to Victoria, British Columbia, (through Vancouver) and back with one tank of gasoline! Everything worked out fine!

The price was high but I also booked fairly late. I loved that I got a Subaru Outback. It was familiar and comfortable since I drive a Forester at home. The staff was friendly and efficient, pricing was straightforward with no surprise fees, and the whole process was actually quite stress-free. I would happily rent from them again when flying into SEA.

I…read morecalled them and was told I could receive a voucher and that AAA would pick up the Tesla Model 3 for delivery to the Pep Boys Tire shop. However, the shop they referred to was closed, so the drivers decided to drop it off at Les Swab, which was nearby. Swab replaced the tire with a bill of approximately 288 dollars. Swab called the Aurora office and reached the Hertz representative. She said I had to pay. I returned the call and told her they would cover it. She disagreed and insisted I had to pay for it, then corrected herself and said she didn't care who paid, but they wouldn't be, which was false. After I explained that I didn't have to pay and that, even if they refused, I'd have either my credit card insurance or my business insurance (State Farm), she hung up on me. I called back and stated, "Maybe we got off to a wrong start. I was only trying to say that I wasn't required to pay for it." She kept cutting me off, insisting she didn't care and that somehow it was my responsibility, then hung up on me, again. I called back to ask why she kept hanging up on me. She has repeatedly hung up on me, even before this interaction. When I rented a car from another location, she promised to switch me to another car if I called back in the morning, but when I did, she broke that promise and, without another word, rudely hung up on me. In the last conversation, I asked for her name, and she countered, " What is your name? I don't even know you. I told her my full name, and she reiterated that I was responsible for the car's repair and hung up. I tried to call back to speak to a Supervisor, but no one answered. Also, I paid for the car repair because the corporation did not provide the voucher to the right autoshop. The AAA driver took the car to the wrong shop. I called maintenance, who lied and said I was told to go only to network shops, but no one, or an email, told me about a specific shop. The AAA driver decided to take it to another tire center, not me. Had I known, I would have course-corrected the driver's mistake. I am filing a complaint not only with your local office in Aurora for rude service, erroneous information, and a car with low tread, according to Les Swab. I will tell Amex, my credit card company, and review sites that Hertz at these Uber locations consistently provides poor service, making it difficult for Uber drivers to do their jobs.
