EagleRider is one of the few motorcycle rentals around as most places stopped. They have a variety of types. I rented two touring motorcycles at different times (Harley Road Glide, BMW RT). What a great experience! I would have given a 5 star but the rentals are a bit steep as I have rented in Hawaii and it is under $200/day. Staff is friendly and bikes are in good shape and close to new for the ones I rented. read more

Amazing customer service! I purchased a 3-day bike rental more than a year ago for my Sweetie's birthday. I had paid extra to reserve a specific bike. At the time, they didn't have the bike we wanted because someone dropped the bike heading out of the place. Bummer! Just as well, the weather wasn"t too nice then. They gave us a voucher to use next time. I had a year to use it. Well, that came and gone and they renewed my voucher and resent it via email. We finally used it on the weekend at the end of June. During this whole process, the staff has been amazing! We reserved a Harley Electra Glide and I paid extra for full insurance. You can never be too safe. We didn't get the towing package since we had AAA with motorcycle towing. From start to finish, it was a pleasurable experience. My Sweetie has never ridden a bike this big -- 900 lbs. minus me on the back with about a 1600cc engine. The guy went over everything on the bike - brakes, clutch, blinkers, radio, touch screen, navigation, how to start the bike, cruise control, etc. This bike has everything and I could see my Sweetie's expression of excitement. Cute! The guy even gave my Sweetie a few tips based on his own experience. My Sweetie geared up and off he went. He spent Friday getting used to the bike with me on the back as well. He mentioned it was deceptively easy to ride. The next morning we packed our bags and stuffed them in the saddlebags. We still had so much space and then some. We rode on and off for 12 hours on Saturday then more on Sunday totalling 535 miles. The bike was so comfortable minus riding through some really bad crosswinds. It was definitely an experience! My Sweetie did an amazing job handling the bike. It felt really smooth on the back. We didn't use the intercom system on the bike since we had our own Sena system attached to our helmets. I highly recommend them! The bike return process was easy and painless. Everything is done through a portable tablet. They also have a membership that's only $30/month, which I'm highly considering. It allows for a number of free rentals in a given year then a discounted rate therafter. Overall, this has been an amazing experience. I highly recommend Eagle Rider!! read more

I was in town for a week and wanted to ride with my buddy. Rented a Road-glide for a day. Picked it up on Friday at 5 and had it for the next day. The attendant was personable but when it came to the safety he was very serious. I gave it 4 instead of 5 because, for the age of the bike it was a bit pricey. Compared to renting a car that are within a few years old and cheaper by the day. Overall I would still recommend using them. read more

To commence the start of my recent local tourist play day, I hit up the ER (no not that one, ya doofus) and booked a bike rather last minute. I called probably a day or few hours prior and asked the current bike availability for my taste. 'Sort of feeling any of the newer imports (Honda, BMW, Triumph) or the HD XL customs. With the selection limited, as one could've guessed with Summer season in session, there wasn't much for me (I didn't want the heavier bikes, which there were more of, as well). And then Andrew mentioned someone's return was a T100 Bonneville (Triumph). It just needed brief service for 2 hours... I figured ok: get some lunch then come back. I think they were 1 or 2 guys short so if it's slow, it's pretty smooth; if it's busy with at least 3 folks and especially phone calls, then expect to be patient and shoot the breeze temporarily. Although, I actually just imagined that if you're dropping a rental off, you could technically still just use the drop-off key box, too! I'll do that next time, I think. So, yeah I'd say try that: Pick up with usual process and then drop-off as seen fit (do the drop-off process if they're not tied up). The staff I encountered were Jeff and Andrew. I think both were around since old location. Jeff is cool, laidback and friendly. Andrew--ditto and even while multi-tasking a customer at the counter and on the phone for several minutes. Good guys, really. Their current place is about a mile and skip hop from their old spot. It's also across a pretty decent diner (tasty home fries!). Sooo, long trip and just a day cruise, ride some awesome 2-wheeled machine. And don't fret with the large bikes! I think the imports have a couple medium-sized, easier to ride machines (think BMW GS650 [sport] and Shadow Aero 750 [cruiser]) still in the fleet. Happy riding! read more

we've rented out from Eagle rider before Stonie was filling in for the manager and was great. but the bikes were another story. we rented two. one clearly was laid down from your pack all the way to the fender. and the second had a ton of scratches. both tour packs were loose and the straps on the seat to both bikes fell off but in the end we road and had a great trip just wish the bikes weren't so abused with only 3000 miles, this rating is clearly on the bikes. not Stonie or the others guy . they were great read more

They have a huge selection of motorcycles to choose from. The rental process was seamless and easy. Peter is very helpful and guided me through the entire rental process smoothly. He can share a lot of tips about routes and ideas. I rode out to Mt. Rainier for the day on a 2019 Triumph Tiger 800. The bike only had 1,300 miles on it. There were saddlebags included on the bike. They were large and able to easily fit all my stuff for the day. It was a highlight to be able to ride a nice bike and explore while traveling in Seattle. Not only did we not get yh bike we reserved and confirmed the night before, our visit to the counter started with the man working At the counter telling us we were "meant to ride the bike that crashed last night" - his reason for why they didn't have a two person bike available today. Then the desk attendant kept digging lower.... never offered us a call this morning To let us know of the unavailability due to yesterday's shift in inventory -I had to ask if the rider of yesterday's "crash" was ok as he left that piece hanging. We got there on the day of the reservation and hour and 20 minutes after they opened- no excuse for no call. Without a doubt they overbooked. Bad planning, ridiculously horrible customer service. I had such a great experience with EagleRider! I wanted to experience riding a "large" cycle in the Pacific Northwest and these folks came through. This was my first time on a HD Electra Glide (or on any cycle that big) and I wanted to have this experience in the mountains and forest while I was out Seattle and the surrounding area. I got to the location in Burien, WA (just outside Seattle) and with only a brief delay, these folks got me on a bike and on the road. The option to rent riding equipment there (got 2 helmets for the wife and I) was so convenient, especially since we didn't have to pack our helmets on the plane. We did bring our jackets though, but for only another $10 it might be worth it just to use their equipment; guess it all depends on what fits... I was also able to purchase riding gloves too! (AND the prices were really reasonable for those too!) The staff there was SO helpful and friendly! (Thanks Peter!) They were very knowledgeable and ready to discuss any concerns I had. I was really impressed with the types and styles of cycles they had too. I'm going to use them again, if only to "test ride" other cycles and see what I like. read more

Small mix-up on the rental that was quickly and generously resolved by owner. By the way, owner is a great, friendly guy. Appreciated his approach to customer service. He was patient, articulate, quick, and understanding. Overall, for anyone considering renting a bike, this is the place. Cons The employee Brian is a major jerk. I could not believe this guy throughout the process. He should not be in customer service at all. He was very unhelpful, belittling, arrogant, and applied the least amount of effort to the process. It was like I was an inconvenience to him while renting 2 bikes. He had limited insight into biking and couldn't even explain his own invoice he printed for me. And when I returned my bike, he was talking to a buddy on the phone (not a customer) the whole time. He didn't hang up and call them back when there were no customers to help out with, he just held the phone to his ear while barely answering my billing questions. My experience with him is the only reason I'm not giving this business a 5 star. But since he was the primary interaction point for me through the process (beginning & end), his bad service certainly warrants a knock off the rating - since you may also encounter frustrating experiences with him. Maybe he is the owners son or something, but keep him in the back away from customers. Overall: Recommended. Though highly recommended if the service issue got resolved. read more

Eagle rider advertises more bikes in stock than what they have, Pre registration questioning I was told from the front desk person that riding on their least busy days,(Monday and Tuesday is almost assuring that I would be getting the bike I wanted. Since my intent was to rent a Harley Heritage as I am possibly buying one I wanted to rent one for a few days to make sure I would be happy with my choice. The price to guarantee the bike of your choice is very high. My option was to lessen the registration price to extend my ride time. The website said they had one bike left when I registered. When arriving the Monday I was told that the bike I had requested was not available and they were upgrading my to a bigger bike. Since I did not feel confident enough to take it, it took more time of debate and diplomacy than what should have been needed. I did receive a bike but the sales person said it was a return that had just arrived and I could use it. The bike was somewhat dirty and not full of gas. The rest of my ride was great but spending an extra hour and a half inside their office left a bad taste in my mouth, If you do business with Eagle Rider, make sure that this is what you want to do and you will get the bike you want. There are no refunds and they reserve the right to give you what they have available if they do not have what you want. This is the only motorcycle rental business in the greater Seattle area so not many choices. I don't think I will be going back there and I will be buying my own as I intended. read more

I recently purchased a dyna street bob from Josh at Eagle Rider. I was in the market for a dyna and found they had one at this location. The price was good so I decided to purchase. The entire process was very easy. I traded in my honda and got a very fair trade in price. I feel I got a good rate on everything and even included a 5 year extended warranty which is really nice to have on a used bike. Josh was very helpful with any of the questions I had. Had a small issue with a shift lever being loose and Josh sent a new one the following day. I highly recommend eagle rider for purchasing a used motorcycle. My dad and I rented Harleys from local dealerships for years before HD and EagleRider entered into this unholy alliance. I rented from EagleRider (ER) the first year the HD rental program was dead, and the process was much more complicated and expensive than it had ever been. So, naturally I became an ER member, figuring that the $30/month plus whatever horse manure registration fee they charged would still come back to me with the "free" monthly rental. I took a few trips as an ER member. One trip around the state of WI with my dad and uncle was delay only by 1 day because ER couldn't deliver the bikes to the dealership on time. The next rental was a quick 3-day run to the NC coast and back, and that rental was nearly ruined because again despite my paying the extra money to guarantee the bike I wanted, the first answer the dealership (Rock Hill, SC) gave me was that they didn't have that particular model bike for me. I will say that the staff at the HD dealerships in WI and SC who facilitated these rentals bent way, way over backward to try to mitigate the horrific incompetence of ER. This level of customer focus was a huge part of why we enjoyed renting from Charlotte HD and Tilley HD in Salisbury. Great folks! But, back to how much ER truly, truly sucks. When my "subscription" to the membership program was about to expire, a nice lady from ER called me to encourage me to re-up. I shared with her, respectfully, my disappointments with ER, mostly the fact that the "free" monthly rental day for each month still incurred the painfully long list of fees they charge for each day of rental. Maybe it was a simple communication issue. My version of English includes a definition for "free" that means "without charge." ER's definition must be something closer to "slightly less charge but still a significant charge." Or maybe I simply misread the agreement, and what it actually says is that for every month you get one "FEE" day. Who knows. When I raised this point with the nice lady from ER, she toed the company line and explained that as much as she'd like to help with this issue, these fees were well beyond her pale and I could hear her shrug her shoulders over the phone. I decided I would just forego my membership and rent directly from them once again as an independent (since there are no other motorcycle rental programs anywhere near me), and I just went to their site for the Rock Hill location again. Of all the models that are made available by the Rock Hill location--a grand total of 3, 'cause that's about all you'd need at the only location close to the 16th largest city in the country, which also happens to be within 3 hours drive of the Atlantic Ocean and the Blue Ridge Parkway and The Dragon--not one of those 3 models was available! Can you believe it?! Wow. I mean, how could a professional motorcycle rental corporation run out of bikes when they have not 1, not 2, but 3 whole models (all HD) to choose from? Clown shoes. That's what ER is in the world of customer service. Clown shoes. I see some other victim--sorry, "customer" of ER began her review with "If I could give this place a lower rating..." Hear! Hear! If ever a company deserved the creation of negative stars, it is EagleRider. My family, even the cute, innocent children, now refer to this sham organization as "EagleDucker" only the "D" is an "F". I have used Eagle Rider multiple times over the years, but have not run into this before. My daughter wanted to go riding for fathers day and Im between Road Kings right now and went on their website and reserved a road King at Burien Seattle. On Fathers Day Peter called me to tell me that they do not have a Road King for rent and that $183 dollar credit card charge can be used for store credit! Of course he started going over "Eagle Rider Policy" which didn't help his customer service points. No refund, just we got your money, now its ours. When I logged into Cascade Mountain ER the road King was greyed out so I didn't have the option to rent it. when I went onto Seattle ER it allowed me to rent. Im done with Eagle rider read more

Rented an Indian Roadmaster for 3 days over a weekend. Booked it online, and then got seamless service from Josh who handed over the bike. Mileage was just under 10K, and the bike was in good shape except for minor scratches showing it had been dropped on both sides at low speed/standing still. Must break their hearts when that happens to a bike like that. I used my credits from my Club Eagle Rider Membership which makes the cost totally manageable with the add ons. I will be back to check out the Chief and Chieftain along with the Triumph Bonnie. read more

The manager tried to sell us extra insurances, which we already had booked from home. My husband and I rented two bikes from EagleRider, Seattle, this past weekend. I initially called the 800 number, and there seemed to be a bit of confusion, and the guy on the phone didn't get both bikes rented as intended. I began calling the shop directly after that, and couldn't have had a better experience. Jack, the GM, was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. He answered my dozens of questions, and never got frustrated. He didn't have the bike the rep at the 800 number promised, but let me rate the bikes he had available, from 1-3, and promised to get us set up. When we showed up on Friday morning, he had everything ready up for us. We had even discussed renting a GPS unit, and he suggested purchasing a smart phone holder instead and keeping it for my bike at home. As promised, he had the phone holder mounted, and we were ready to go. The bikes were in great shape. I had a Sportster 883, and the hubby had a Fat Boy. Both bikes ran perfectly the whole time. Overall, I was extremely happy with our whole experience from start to finish. Jack was patient with us, and worked hard to ensure we had a great time. Would highly recommend!!! read more

I'm pretty much the most dissappinted I have ever been with our customer service experience at EagleRider motorcycle rentals. I was a little late to planning a surprise for my husband on his birthday (Sunday June 25th) but was able to find a motorcycle rental shop right down the road from our house (EagleRider Burien). I went in Friday early that morning and was able to make a reservation that day! I was very excited as I knew I had procrastinated on planning and I had to work the next 48 hours so I felt so lucky they had bikes available! Sunday morning (today) came around and I was so excited because my husband had NO idea, and as we left the house, I told him we had to stop somewhere on our way out to go visit a work site. When we arrived at EagleRider rentals, we got there about 5 min before our 9:30 reservation time. When we came inthere was a large group of riders being seen to as they were also picking up Bikes. We noticed this and decided to take the extra time to grab some merchandise from the shelves (about $300 worth of new gear). We figured they were pretty busy with this large group and we could save some time by gathering all the stuff we knew we needed before hand. Mind you, neither of the service men had said anything to us at this point, they had hardly acknowledged us, but we saw they were busy and so we politely waited for when they were able to get to us. At this point we were still the only other group in the shop besides the large group. We noticed our names on two of the bikes that we rented so we spent some time checking them out. We had our 11 ur old son with us excited to ride as well, so we were kind of going over the basics of how to be a safe passenger. We did a little more looking around before we finally found our place infront of the counter behind the large group. At this point it was about 10:10 am (45 min from when we arrived) and there were other customers coming in, one of which who walked up to the counter to get one of the service men's attention. I don't know what her situation was, but I figured maybe there was an arrangement I wasn't aware of (maybe she was dropping off a bike? Or a car?) so I patiently waiting assuming that the man behind the counter would inform her that he was busy with the large group, and that there were other customers that had been waiting. Silly me. She was actually coming in to fill out forms to rent a motorcycle. I was under the impression that customer service meant respecting your customer's time and money. I know I was a little tardy to making my plans, but I did make my reservation 2 days prior, was there on time to pickup, and essentially was about to drop $800 between bikes and gear. Not to mention this was a surprise for my husband's birthday. I know I probably could have spoke up, but I was honestly shocked that things were handled that poorly by the people I thought were supposed to be taking care of their customers? Very disappointed with the customer service. The representative hung up on me when trying to work out a reservation. We had a Covid canceled trip in Las Vegas get credited only as Store credit, no refund. Now I'm trying to set up a Seattle area trip, North Cascades was closed so forced to drive out of Burien and the city. The rep said that the 4 bikes were more here and I said fine but I wanted to pay the difference when we picked up the bikes (we would have already paid 80%+ of the cost). He then said that I had to pay then and there was no exception. He said that the difference wouldn't be refundable only store credit which is why I wanted to pay when we picked them up. He said there was no way around it when I requested a manager and consideration for my situation. I kept asking and he got progressively upset and hung up. I think this organization does not consider customers service to be part of their business model. read more

I just rented a BMW 1200 RT from the Seattle location and both the bike and the service were fantastic. I took it out for 11 days and never had a problem. The bike was perfectly maintained and in flawless condition. It was a dream ride and I highly recommend renting from them as well as touring Washington and Oregon. They offered some of the best roads and sights that I've seen. I especially appreciate their convenient location and accessibility to the SEA-TAC airport. I love the availability of lots of bikes and good prices if you have a membership. I also like the fact that with Eagle Rider, you can rent in different states. Now that Eagle Rider is taking over all of the Harley store rentals, this is even more attractive to people like me who travel a lot. My rental bike was almost new (2017 Road King Ultra with 4800 miles), in great shape and had no issues. The staff was very helpful and supportive and the check out and check in process was very efficient. I do wish they had trikes available here at their only Washington store in Burien; however I do understand that Washington riders need a separate endorsement for three wheel motorcycles and not many riders have this. Also, if you sign up online, they may not have the actual inventory that is shown on the website, so it is a good idea to call and see what is actually available. Overall, a good value for those Washington Summer and Fall days when you just need to get out and ride. read more
