Worst enterprise I've ever been to. Forced to rent a vehicle due to someone hitting my car while I was at work. USAA arranged my reservation and told me enterprise should be contacting me within an hour, never did. When I went there the following day, they lied and said they called me at 0820. No call, no message and then refused to help me. I'm lucky to have my wife around to drive me, but I'm sorry for anyone who actually has to depend on a vehicle for their livelihood.. don't go here read more

This was the worst customer service I have experienced with a car rental company as I frequently utilize rental cars for military travel. The person who said they were the manger was very rude and offered zero assistance to try and find a car ....which reservations were made via insurance company while my car was to be worked on. I asked if he could contact another local branch or look up availability to which he replied I only handle local rentals at this store.. sorry! They definitely shouldn't be working for a large chain rental company with the displayed attitude and unwillingness to provide business to people trying to utilize the rental services. If you can use a different rental company do it, I'd highly recommend not using enterprise. If you have no choice like I do because of insurance...good luck. read more

Th car was fine and it did what I wanted it to but make sure you check your credit card statement. I returned the car earlier than I agreed to but was mysteriously charged an additional $100 for some "key checkin glitch" according to the person I spoke to on the phone. He said he can't fix it and I have to wait for the manager to fix it on Monday. He also informed me that the manager is the one who checked in the car. I wonder how this "mistake" happened? I was informed that the regular employees are not allowed to contact "the accounting" department to get this resolved only the store manager can do that. I find this fishy and will be showing up first thing Monday morning to make sure it gets handled by the manager. UPDATE: I have removed one of the stars from my review after I received an email over Yelp! from Enterprise asking to help resolve my issue. After explaining the issue to them they responded with and email with an invoice telling me that they refunded $100 of the $200 "damage deposit" that I paid at the time of rental like I should be happy with that. I will see what happens Monday morning but I don't have a lot of confidence that they will make it right. Definitely a buyer beware situation with Enterprise! UPDATE 2: A 2nd customer service rep has contacted me and informed me that the rate I was quoted online, agreed to in their office, and received an emailed receipt for is not valid because the location was closed on the day of return (Sunday) so I am going to be charged for an extra day. The paperwork that I received from Enterprise said the time of return was Sunday at 9:00 PM. I returned the car before my appointed time and smiled from the camera above the key drop. It has been a long time since I received customer service this poor from a national company. I will not be using Enterprise ever again! read more

Believe the bad reviews for this location before anything else. This is absolutely the worst rental car agency I have ever had experience with. They made a reservation for me to pick up my car paying with my debit card and then said I couldn't when I got there because "it was against their policy", which it certainly isn't. I was on a tight time schedule and had to make other arrangements and change a flight the next day. When I pulled in, I noticed that my car wasn't there. I thought OK, they'll just upgrade it, I'm sure. Then a lady at the counter was having a difficult time getting her car for some reason and they told her she could have a minivan but that didn't work for her. When I got to the register, the manager, I'm not sure what his name is but he's an officious ex-navy type, told me no, I can't rent the car to you with a debit card. I know that's not true because I dropped a truck off there with the same agreement when I traveled from Oregon to Washington. They made THIS RESERVATION (not some disembodied head somewhere that has nothing to do with them) and confirmed it knowing I was using a debit card. Suddenly, at the last second, their policies have changed and I'm the one who is out of luck! I'm pretty certain it's because they didn't have any cars to fill my order and the others in the lot were spoken for. I was able to make another reservation for the next day at a different location whose agent didn't know what the clown in Poulsbo was talking about. As long as the license and card have the same address that's within a 50-mile radius of the location it's Enterprise's policy to accept debit cards for one-way rentals with a deposit. No problem. Except for at this circus. My belief is that this is their standard lie they roll out to cinch up their blown reservations and I suggest you stay away from this location at all costs. Their staff are unhelpful, disrespectful to large clients (my wife and I rent vehicles for months at a time) and I will absolutely be contacting the area manager to register a complaint and I expect compensation for the lost time and expense. read more

Jarod and his manager were exceptionally helpful in getting us an awesome rental. I was visiting from out of state and due to my own mistakes, hit a few bumps in getting my rental. This location is basically it for the region and they were really busy all day. Jarod, his manager, and their supervisor worked with me for hours to not only get us the car we rented, but to also upgrade us. The team went above and beyond to make sure we got a car. They were kind, patient and funny. When we arrived the final time to pick up the car, after everything was figured out, it was nearly closing time but they were busy with two other people ahead of us and phones ringing. They were helpful with everyone in line and being as patient as they could with people on the phone. Despite how busy they were, Jarod and his manager were thorough with going over check out and return expectations and making sure we were comfortable and satisfied. I rent cars frequently when I travel and can say they had some of the best customer service I've experienced. I would definitely rent a car from here again. read more

I was in desperate need of a car after having to put my car into the auto body shop. The people here quickly took my call and drove out to pick me up right from the auto body shop. That was nice and convenient. The service was great and I was out the door pretty quickly. That was awesome. I returned the car a little dirtier than I got it and they had no problem and didn't charge any extra. I was just told they would be cleaning it anyways. That was pretty cool. read more

I've been using this branch of Enterprise rental cars for many years, and they really pulled out the stops this time. I had to repair my car AGAIN after an accident I originally was renting an economy car but as I was talking to one of the service reps and asked if there was a chance to get a RAV4? He told me that it depended on whether they were on the lot or not the next day. On the day of my rental, he showed up with a 2020 F150 XLT! I was surprised and delighted. The car rental experience was fine. However, since we rented a car in May 2019, at the Poulsbo Washington store, Enterprise has mistakenly/ fraudulently? continued to charge our credit card and provided our personal information to multiple cities and private parking lots as linked to a car in their fleet with a license plate that received multiple tickets. Attempts to resolve with Enterprise (provided evidence that the car we rented was a different model, make, color and had a different license plate number), we have been unsuccessful for a year and a half, resulting in yet another notification a few days ago. This is an extremely difficult company to deal with when you have a problem. If you expect a resolution with this company, you are expecting too much. read more

So I used to travel and never had good luck w/ Enterprise, however they are local and we decided to give them a shot.... "we need x car by monday morning.... Can you do that?" The price was higher, but the management trainee matched it. Took ALL of my information including employer and told me to call back for the vehicle. We called back and were told there was no reservation for it. We told the agent that Austin told me to call to see if we could get the car earlier. Another manager trainee then told us they could get the vehicle and the price was higher than before. Told her what the price was more, she tried to upsell to a premium SUV.... Told her the price we were given, again tried to upsell me. Finally matched the price that Austin gave us. She tells me that they can have the car Wednesday afternoon. We need it by Wednesday MORNING, "well I can't promise that.....but you can swing by and see if we have it..." Bottom line? Poor communication... When return car was told insurance authorized only portion of days car in the shop, told I could talk with Insurance company and have them reimburse me personally for the 3 days. Went and put it all on my credit card with that understanding. Got call from Enterprise on return home (within 30 minutes of getting home) asking if I wanted to make payment for sure which I said yes. USAA contacted about an hour later and told situation, but because Enterprise completely close account USAA notified me a couple of days later that no able to make any payment. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I have a reservation set months ago, but once I get here apparently they gave my reservation away two hours after my reservation time. There was at no point any communication via email or call. The front desk clerk was very unhelpful. Her only thought was to offer me a truck at a rate that was twice that of what I had reserved. It was too late before I realized that the car I rented was too small. Matt called me a day before pickup and I told him that I needed a bigger van for family members. Matt was amazing. He looked through his database and found me a bigger van in less than 24 hours. I picked up the bigger van in plenty of time to pick up my family members. Thanks a lot Matt. I was afraid I was going to have some family members take a cab. With Matt's help, my family and I were in the same van talking all the way to my son's graduation. We've had a few experiences with them. At first I would say they are excellent. Lately they have been absolutely terrible about closed loop communication and customer service once you've paid. I've had an ungoing dialogue with them regarding something I think I lost in one of their vehicles, but they have not inspired confidence that they even proficiently looked. I am not one to throw the baby out with the bathwater and will be willing to try them again. So my boyfriend told me he had a bad experience with Enterprise at one point. He did not want to use them but alas, they are the only gig in town. So we called up to get a car. They said they could do it by weds morning for sure but to call tues and see if they have availability on that day. He also quoted us 264.00 for the week. SO I called on tues to see if they had a car for us. They didn't even have our reservation on file!!! Than they said they could not quote us the same price and were not even sure if they could get a car today. The latest they said would be sometime after noon on Weds. We already told AUSTIN that we were leaving on Weds and that we needed it Tues or Weds EARLY like 730 am. So needless to say they failed us royally and if you need a car. PLEASE drive the extra 10-15 min and go to Bremerton and get a car from ANY other car rental place out there. read more

Enterprise Car Rental is franchise, so have to return the car where you rented it, not at the airport, not downtown Seattle. They don't bother to tell you that when you rent the car, so all of a sudden you when you go to return it you have to figure out how to get to the airport or how to get your guests to the airport. The customer service was excellent even though the clerk had to deal with a very difficult customer at the same time. I have rented from Enterprise in Poulsbo twice now. I have been renting from them for years. They are very consistent. Always professional and courteous. I will be an ongoing customer of Enterprise. I just signed up for their Plus program. I understand supply and demand of vehicles and during peak times it can be challenging but they have accommodated me each time. They even pick up....but most already know that. 4 instead of 5 because I am out of their pickup area & their rates went up when I needed a vehicle. read more

I understand the Poulsbo Branch of Enterprise has a new manager with excellent experience at an International Airport for a number of years. We spoke to a number of agents going through the process of renting an automobile from this location. Our trip was to take us from Poulsbo to Boise, Idaho in February: My husband never misses an opportunity to save a few bucks, but our agent convinced us to upgrade to an SUV with all-wheel drive which was only a few more dollars per day. Am I ever glad she did! The weather coming back was anything but pleasant. We had snow almost all the way and coming over Snoqualmie Pass (which I have driven in the winter many, many times) was way worse than I have ever experienced it! We were so thankful we decided to go with this Enterprise office. They certainly saved us from a lot of hassle and probably a divorce as well. read more

I went here to rent a car I had reserved over the phone, and on arrival I was told that I could not rent the car because I had a debt card. I told them that during my booking over the phone I explicitly asked if this would work and was informed that it was fine as long as I brought a utility bill - which I had in hand. I understand there was a miscommunication between whoever booked my reservation and the guy standing behind the counter, but it really comes down the the arrogance and rude attitude he displayed toward me. He gave no apology and offered no help except to blame the person on the phone which seemed all too easy for him. The other guy there seemed more helpful, but said nothing could be done. This company as a whole lacks the internal communication or accountability to achieve the lowest level of customer support. Negative stars. read more

I have rented a lot of cars in days. But I have never dealt with such an incompetent place. I planned a family vacation in levinworth WA. I needed a large four wheel drive SUV, since my family lives near Poulsbo. I figured I'd rent a car close by rather then the airport, which is what I usually do. I specifically called the Poulsbo location direct, weeks in advance. I spoke with a rep and told him I needed a four by four sub, they did let me know that they couldn't guarantee a sub, but yes a Tahoe or Yukon. I asked if it was guaranteed and available upon my arrival. They let me know i would not have no problems. I was set to pick up Dec 26 at 8 AM. I drove by Dec 25th in the evening and saw a black Yukon out front. I received a call on the 26th telling me they didn't have my vehicle and they would have to go to Port Angeles to pick up. I asked specially again for a Tahoe or a Suburban. She said it would be available at 10:30. Delayed me already. When I showed up I asked for my veh. Let me know they had a Travers and it would be the same. I argued with her the fact that I needed to carry 7 adults and luggage. She said it was a seven passage veh and that the Tahoe would be a premium veh. I did let her know that I did not care what it was called I had already called and specified the vehicle that I wanted. They obviously rented the car that I saw earlier. So I ended up getting stuck with a car that was too small,was dirty inside and when they checked fuel level the car was empty. Said they can getting filled which took more of my time. This enterprise location is poorly managed. Thanks god for American Express. read more
