Generally: I went with Budget because U-Haul has priced themselves out of consideration for me($400…read morefor a 5 hour drive and I get to pay for gas! No thanks, U-haul). Budget was about 1/2 that. So I chose them. The initial rental (in Spokane) was problem free. AT NO FAULT TO THIS SPECIFIC LOCATION: I was driving through the Snoqualmie Pass, which is notoriously beautiful/treacherous. It was raining like the rapture, and the windshield wipers were not doing a darn thing about it. The passenger side was fine, but the driver's side was just scratching glass. Going 60 mph, surrounded by big rigs, in torrential rain and wind, in the dark, on twisting roads with no windshield wipers is not my idea of a good time. I pulled into a gas station after the nightmare and fixed the wipers myself. After that, of course, it stopped raining. Also, I needed GPS during this trip. I have a GPS on my phone. but it needs power or it will eat my whole battery very quickly. I was very disappointed to find that NEITHER of the TWO power ports in the truck worked. I found this out, when halfway through the trip my phone died and I was left without GPS. I had to pull over and give my phone to my husband, who was following me in our car, so that it could be charged. AT FAULT TO THIS LOCATION: I explained these things to the person behind the desk. She could not have cared less. She didn't even respond. I had forgotten to get gas on my way to return it, and by this point we were just so frustrated with the process that we were wiling to pay the extra 30 bucks to not have to deal with it. The gas station was literally right across the street. It took over 30 minutes for the person to come back and provide the amount of gas we'd have to pay for. 30 minutes in which were were studiously ignored by the counter person. I honestly don't mind the waiting so much, but the complete lack of concern will keep me from using Budget again for truck rentals.

Friday afternoon, Ida called us to tell us that they didn't have any 24' trucks, that they rarely get those and she could offer us a 16' truck instead. We were livid. Ida offered 20 free miles, an amount that wouldn't even come close to covering the 2 extra trips we would have to make. They could have called us at any point in the 2 weeks leading up to our move, but they chose to wait until the last minute. Luckily we were able to find a more expensive truck from another company. Moving is stressful enough, I don't need someone like Ida making it even more stressful by canceling our truck at the last minute. Shame on you Ida. I wish I had checked Yelp before making my reservation, it looks like they pull crap like this all the time!

The staff there was very accommodating and able to help return the lost item. I will say it was a stark comparison to the SeaTac Enterprise who were much more difficult to work with. The employee at the rental agency filled out the final invoice incorrectly. They charged my card…read moretwice and billed my insurance once. Placed the total as the amount owed instead of the amount to be refunded. When I called customer service, the person I spoke with couldn't speak clear English. She had to be asked repeatedly to repeat themselves. Communication was extremely difficult and frustrating. I couldn't get them to understand the discrepancy even with the invoice in front of them. They appeared not to understand what they were reading or how to apply basic math skills. Responses to my question were vague and unclear. They said they would contact management and send me a corrected invoice. The new invoice I received was still incorrect. The new total showed the amount my insurance had already paid and that's it. Not amount to be refunded, that account was paid off, or now closed. I've achieved nothing, no refund, and back to where I started. I'm stuck dealing with their customer service, AGAIN, trying to get my refund. Who cannot read an invoice, speak clear English, or do simple math. What a mess, do not recommend .

I was looking for a machine to begin my landscape grading over the 4th of July. Luckily, I found a…read moreKubota at Premier and they had it delivered in two hours on short notice at 4pm Monday evening. The machine was scheduled to be picked up Wednesday morning and I was told over the phone that I would get up to 16 hours on the machine. Everything great so far. I used the machine for a few hours that evening. The next day, the 4 of July, I began work again around noon. At 4:30 catastrophy strikes and one of the hydraulic hoses blows on the bucket, under a light load. The machine is dead in the water and Premier is closed. No biggie, I figure they can get some one out to fix the machine on wednesday and I can finish my landscaping. The delivery driver, Ryan (great guy) arrives at around 11:30 to pick up the machine. He tells me that he'll have to get the machine back to the shop for repair and he'll talk to Lloyd who will make it right. I spent about an hour helping Ryan get the crippled Kubota on the trailer and waited a couple of hours for a phone call from Premier. No call. I call and talked with a gentleman about what happened with the machine, and he seemed sympathetic. He sent me over to Eric to schedule to get a machine back out to me. Eric informs me that he can give me a 10 percent discount on $195 (one day rental) and he can waive the delivery fee...so now I've just spent $560 for less than a days use. And Premier wants me to spend around $200 (after damage insurance and tax) more to finish what I could have done had the machine not broken. The explanation I got from Eric was that the machine was on site all day until 4:30 and you could have gotten a whole day out of it...Yeah, perhaps if I had started at 6:00 in the morning, the Kubota would have waited until 4:30pm to break down on me, and I could have gotten a whole day in. This made no sense. Not to mention, I had 5 more hours of daylight to work after the machine broke. Eric did offer to pro-rate the 4 hours that I didn't get that evening. $35 bucks, the difference between a 4 hour rental and an 8 hour rental. Well now we're down to $525 for less than a day. What about, the time I could have used it Wednesday morning? I read a lot of glowing reviews about you guys. And I like that your local. This was an unfortunate series of events, with this piece of equipment, and you guys got paid in full. Unfortunately, I'm still going to have to shell out a couple hundred more bucks to finish what I had plenty of time to do. Your delivery driver said you were a good guy Lloyd, make it right.
