For my last trip, which took place during $4+/gallon gas prices, I totally scored. I was able to get a Prius for a week; I had always wanted to test drive a Prius, too. I locked down a stellar rate for my entire trip. The Prius served me well (I even did some off-roading on the Rez with it!). The staff here is always quick and nice. Alamo generally also has the best deals as well.

I'll admit, their car wash team is lacking. I'm unsure if it's not enough people or just "man eyes" The last two vehicles I've picked up are dirty. However, they're top of the line vehicles, they just don't get washed well on the outside. Tami, the manager at this branch is super nice and accommodating. The Jeep I picked up two weeks ago was empty and cost $85 to fill up. The vehicle was supposed to be full upon pick up, (it was not) so Tami comped me one day of rental to offset the gas cost. This has quickly become one of my favorite National locations and I'm happy to run my car thru the wash once I pick it up! I'll be back!

The setup is different given that it's a small airport and requires you to grab the key before proceeding to the lot. To get there, you walk all the way down the opposite side of the airport, follow the side walk as it curves right, and the cars will be on the left. To return the car, I learned that you have to note the mileage and fuel level before returning the key. Giavanna helped process my return and was quick to adjust the payment details upon request. She apologized for not caring in the first email and said my experience was being forwarded to Regional. Shortly after, I received a call from Shelby! The rude, condescending "branch manager" from the airport. Unfortunately she is not someone I'm open to talking to. I'm normally the type to give people several chances but after seeing her treat the man before me poorly, and then myself? That was enough for me to know any further interactions with her would be the same. Another big reason to look into Turo. I scratch my head, but then realize that more people than not will take the time to make a bad review of a this type of business if they feel they've been screwed. The last review is almost 2 years old as well. I've been renting vehicles through Hertz for many years, but I have always booked and paid ahead for my rentals via AAA membership. Maybe this has something to do with never having a crappy experience, except maybe a longer wait time once in awhile. I have rented vehicles in Temecula, CA; Buffalo, NY; Knoxville, TN; and Kona, HI. I have always received what I ordered, with a couple times getting a free vehicle upgrade. I have never had any monetary add-ons needing contested. The vehicles have always been clean, inside and out. This Hertz was no exception. The pick up and drop off went without a hitch. If anything "negative" was had it was the young lady I interacted with at the time of pick up didn't have much of a personality, but I wasn't there to make friends anyhow. With everything having gone smoothly I will be the 2nd person to give this beat upon Hertz the 5 star rating.

(That is their policy) The day of my reservation I called to confirm my pick up and was Informed by the manager of the Kennewick location that they don't pick up in Richland even though it was within 10 miles. He actually tried to change it to say it had to be within 10 minutes of their location. I was left stranded at the pick up and was left to walk. I'm handicap btw.
