I have read the reviews and some are valid, but I must say that I've basically dealt with Bryant and Hector, who are on the Management team? There's been a couple of hiccups with my rentals as well, but I must say that they are very apologetic and they do their very best to take care of you and make up for it. And that's good business they do have a few new staff members that are very nice very accommodating and welcoming and that's nice to see Customer Service goes a long way with me and even though things go wrong, it's how you fix it is what counts and because they always go beyond and really try to help. I reserved a minivan over a month ago and was told on the day of pickup that "Due to unforseen circumstances " they could not accommodate my reservation. That a shipment they were awaiting never showed up and that basically they couldn't do anything to help me. This threw a huge wrench to my vacation plans since it was the day before Thanksgiving and every other location and car rental were sold out and closed the next day. Bare in mind I was informed of this 2 hours before my pickup time! My guests who came in the train had to go back home the next day because my 5 seater car couldn't accommodate them (seven total occupants). The guy looks miserable, poor attitude and makes excuses for poor customer service, his response is I was off yesterday. There team lacks leadership and it shows, as a customer I blocked out time away from work to get a car, enterprise called me the day before to say someone would be bringing me a car, that wasn't the case, a driver showed up late, impacting my schedule, when I get to the office to express to Dylan he has zero care, lacks common courtesy, looked like I was staring at a deer in the headlights. But I left this review before I left the building, and I realized after speaking with the individual who is helping me, Bence, the Assistant Branch Manager at Palmdale, was working overtime to handle a store that is in an extremely populated area with limited rental car companies available. He made every attempt to be helpful while super busy and even called me to follow up and see what he could do better because he knew that I was in a hurry and did not get my needs met in regard to time. I made reservations on line and I decided to change my car from a regular small car from a Toyota Corolla to a Malibu. Great customer service. But thought I could use my AAA discount he said only if it's for when your car is in repair which really doesn't sound right. But ok . So he ( The taller Caucasian guy-said the Malibu was $55 he would change it to $42 Rented on July 26, 2025 to Aug 1, 2025. But I've rented cars from Enterprise for years and they never told me they don't take AAA for a discount. And brought the car back 1 day prior. So looking forward in my $300 refund. After coming back to turn it in you have to put gas in it. This is when I realized there isn't a gas cap. But then in the glove compartment I notice a funnel that mentions something about the gas. Everything was great except they don't want to give me my $150 deposit back! This amount is my monthly car insurance bill. No damages whatsoever to the rental, gas tank was filled up the same amount, no extra days; so why ask for a deposit if you are playing hot potato between insurances and you! Bad business practice! I had a rental reservation scheduled. I was offered two options, one had to be cleaned & the other needed to be sanitized. I selected the one that needed to be sanitized since it should have been washed already. The black SUV gets washed & the Enterprise associate was ready to give me the keys. I had to slow him down because why would I drive off with a black SUV that is now going to have a bunch of water marks on it. I know it's a rental but I take pride in the cleanliness of the vehicle I am driving. Furthermore, the inside while vacuumed it was still very much dirty from the previous occupant. Disgusting food crumbs on the center console, windows were too dirty to see clearly, etc. Once the 2024 SUV was hand dried haphazardly it was evident it was completely scuffed up all around. On April 16, 2025, I rented an Audi Q4 from Enterprise in N.Hollywood & decided to take a short drive (30 min) up the Angeles Forest for a hike. It was a very cold, foggy, and rainy April day in the mountains & my hike wrapped up around 7pm. About 5 minutes after leaving Charlton Flats, the vehicle started to act weird, like it was losing power. The gas was quite low but not on E. I figured that was the problem. Since I'd now be driving downhill, I wasn't too worried but another 5 minutes later, with no visibility due to the fog/freezing rain, my window which was down 2 inches wouldn't go up. It stopped working & wouldn't close. Then lights inside flickered and the rental started to die on me. I immediately pulled off the road onto a shoulder where the 2024 Q4 died. It wouldn't turn on at all. Not only was I now stranded in the Angeles Mountains in the dark, but it was foggy & freezing rain at 26°. Even worse is that I had no cell service. I had hoped someone or a CHP would come by to assist but I ended up having to spend the entire night in below freezing temps, with the window stuck open & no jacket! I ended up getting frost bite on my face & hands because of how cold it got. I should also mention that the onboard Emergency Call Button for 911 was pressed numerous times & it kept saying it cannot connect to service. Since these are satellite based, I can only assume this feature was broken or not working on the rental. 22 hours later, the next evening, a CHP finally did show up and gave me a ride to Palmdale to get gas. Unfortunately that didn't work. Nor did the CHP jumping the car. It seemed like the alternator was dead. We contacted Enterprise in Palmdale who immediately ordered a tow and a Lyft to pick me up. Neither ever came. I waited 5 hours in freezing below temps and little did I know that the lift and tow had been canceled by Enterprise an hour after being placed! Their manager Zach assured me he'd make this right & would follow up. I've never heard back. I gave Enterprise every chance to make this right and instead they've blown me off. Well now not only have I filed a complaint with the BBB but I'm speaking with an attorney. read more

This store has done nothing to make their consumers lives safer. They did not fix the walkway as promised. Never sent my injury report into their insurance company. My hip and right knee were badly injured. I could not walk for two weeks. I had to go around on crutches. I have been paying my own bills and going to physical therapy. I'm only allowed so many physical therapy treatments so when I called today and said you need to start paying for my therapy they said they knew nothing about it. So I said it was a good thing I still had my injury report from my slip and fall. Since they aren't paying for my injury treatments that forced me to hire a trial attorney to sue Enterprise Rent A Car. By the way right after renting their car I got sick for 3 weeks and the doctors thought it was COVID. So I'm thinking I either got it from them or since the car had not been cleaned on the inside I could have gotten it from the former person that rented the car. read more

I made my reservation online so that went smoothly, once I arrived to pick up my vehicle, it was dirty inside and out so I had to wait until they washed it, then after that the worker as he was delivering the car to me, he hit a pole damaging the side of the car, so then I had to continue to wait until they write their report and issue me another vehicle which also was filthy so they had to clean that one as well while I am still waiting, during which time the manager said he was going to give me a discount which will appear on my bill, so I said ok. The day came for me to return the vehicle and there was no discount so I asked the manager and he said oh there is no notes of any manager saying that and there was nothing he (another manager) could do. Reserved a car in advance. They tried to up sale to an outrageous amount following the reservation (Probably because they gave the car away). We said no due to the $500 price difference. Was told I only needed an ID and credit card. Now here with no vehicle, They need a bill and they wont accept the Mastercard because it isn't from a major bank? After 2 hours of trying to resolve the issue got the bill and another card - they do not have the car i reserved. We needed a bigger vehicle to drive 5 hours away with a new born and a toddler and now we are unable to rent one unless it is the $1000 car rental. No negotiation was done to accommodate the inconveniences experienced nor did they care as stated "it was the bottom line" I have never written a terrible review but Absolutely upset cramming a new born myself and toddler in the back seat of a civic for 5 hours due to this company's tricks and errors. read more

This review is a few months post interaction with this great team. Im giving them 5 stars for there customer service alone. Enterprise prices are to be expected for a "commercial" rental place. I came to them a little disgruntled after dealing with a smaller cheaper rental company who fumbled my scheduled van. This enterprise team was patient, attentive to my needs, and went out of their way to ensure I got the vehicle i needed. I run a traveling basketball team for adults. We needed a large van quickly. During this experience I found its harder to find than anticipated. They called multiple stores to find the passenger vehicle needed, found one, and coordinated pick up and drop off so I could make my trip happen! Everything went smoothly!! I only wish I remembered their names. Very diverse group which was a breath of fresh air. You can tell they were friendly with each other, as well as with customers, and worked well as a team. I had a great experience today calling Enterprise Palmdale when I spoke to a Roberto from the Santa Clarita location who was helping at the Palmdale one. He was so helpful and nice. One doesn't get that very often these days. I ended up calling back to confirm what I was going to do and ask another question and I ended up talking to someone else who was very nice and made it a great experience, as well. I have mixed feelings about this place. While I loved their customer service during the rental car process, I discovered some shady practices such as the following: (1) Charging me car Damage Waiver (DW) (10.99) even when I specifically said NO to the OPTIONAL damage waiver, (2) Charging me Damage Waiver for a truck (30.99) for an EXTRA day. I didn't complain about the extra 10.99 for the DW on the car, despite me explicitly turning it down, because I was thinking, whatever, it's 10.99. However, at that point, they LOST MY TRUST. I thought that it was interesting that the rep (I won't name names) scrolled quickly through the charges (probably so I couldn't see the charges) when I had to sign my initials. However, after I saw that extra 30.99, I had to call and complain, because that was just ridiculous. The day before I had returned the car, I was quoted a difference price. The day that I returned the car, the charge was around 30 dollars more. When I brought it up, the rep stated that she "hadn't charge me the day before". Well, it turns out they had changed the charges and charged me an extra day of damage waiver for the truck. While their customer service was excellent, the shady practices of upping charges where they could, lying about it, and charging me for damage waiver when I specifically said no just cannot be forgiven. They were already getting several days of damage waiver from me. Why did they have to get greedy and add more when I specifically said no and then secretly switch up one of the damage waivers from car to truck after they saw that I didn't complain about the extra car damage waiver? Tip: (1) Don't initial the agreement until you VISIBLY SEE the charges. You can say NO to an optional charge, and they will STILL add it. (2) Get a physical printout of your agreement immediately when you rent your car, so that you can immediately call if you notice any extra charges. (3) Get a physical printout of your agreement immediately after switching cars or returning your vehicle, because they might have slyly added charges and you have to double check. (4) Don't be like me and speak up if they charge you for extra stuff that you already said no. I purposely let it go the first time and so they did it again when I returned the car. The positives of this place are that the reps are great to work with and they do provide rides after you drop of your vehicle if the distance is short, but honestly, great customer service doesn't matter at all if you can't trust a business to be honest with your credit or debit card. read more

This place is AWFUL!!! We rented 2 cars today, a full size sedan (paid by aaa) and a luxury vehicle. When enterprise got the request from AAA the representative called us to verify vehicle, he mentioned that aaa covered a full sedan example a fusion or Jetta. 1 hour later we show up to pick up vehicle, we see a long line of people waiting for a car. They are all dirty, not available (this was a sign, we should have turned around and walked away) The representative tells me he can't find my reservation so he starts with the sedan, he swiped credit card for deposit and AFTER let's us know he does not have any sedans available. He goes into a story of how at the end of the year Enterprise sells all there cars.. this information would be helpful before swiping a credit card!!! So then I ask about the $72/daily luxury car I rented and got a confirmation email for. He again says he only has vans. I understand the end of the year can be busy, cars are sold... but don't false advertise. Why do you allow customers to book luxury and sedans if you don't have them! Why does the representative call to confirm a sedan if you don't have it! We needed a car! Now we are forced to drive a van because we already wasted time, our car was towed and our card was swiped! read more

August 12 I ordered a 7 seater suv from your palmdale location for friday august 15th and to be returned at the burbank airport august 16th I was contacted by I believe a Chris at 6:12 pm that the car I had ordered for 12 am the following day was not available. When I requested why had been last minute he said they're supposed to give 24 hour notice but they were busy.... That screws me over seeing as I am the only one who was able to drive so him offering two cars was ridiculous and ultimately not what I ordered all he proceded to tell me was to go to a competitor and hung up! Great customer service! So I proceeded to call hertz and enterprise but seeing as he called me at 6:12 pm after hours it was hard to find someone to get the car we needed by tomorrow! I ended up calling an eneterprise customer service number I believe who did get me a 7 seater van at the lancaster location 20 minutes from the first location but it had to get done. She guaranteed that we were set for pick up at 12 for a 7 seater van and drop off at burbank airport! Great we get there in 101 degree heat to wait for an hour in line just to check in only to find out that the car was scheduled to be dropped off at the Lancaster location.... added an extra charge i wasnt ready for to be dropped off at burbank $189ish ... fine... Then the wait for the car in 101 degree came a good 1 1/2 hours until we actually got the car! Finally we get it dropped off to the airport enjoyed our week vacation schedulimg a pick up from the airport to Lancaster however that was going to cost $482 to do that?! $482 to do the opposite of what we originally budgeted?! So we flew back august 22 decided that instead to not rack up the money we would take it back to burbank airport the next day august 23rd for $193 . Forcing me to take a day off work only to find out i was getting charged a $300+ deposit that I didnt have to pay originally... ok.. we returned it and while I got my deposit back still were charged $217..... ok im done with you the trip and all the craziness associated to it is over.. right? WRONG SIR!!!!!!!!! I now have a unauthorized charge to where?! You guessed it the Lancaster location!! Says I applied in person?! Update! After responding to the customer service that commented back on here. I was told that I would be contacted shortly by the location managers on September 3rd. It is September 5th And not only have I not heard from the manager or the email. I have no credit card, as an unauthorized charge from them has left me temporary broke. Since obviously they cant be trusted I had to close my account. Seriously Guys!! Its truly not worth the hassle! This is the first time I ever rented a car and this experience just put a foul taste in my mouth. I'm literally broke at the moment because of this stupidity! Go and wait for Jason (Palmdale boulevard location) to help check you in or out. He's the best and very knowledgeable. I had some finance issues regarding the insurance on covering the rental while I was in it. I thought my insurance would cover but found it ultimately didn't. When I did the check out process Jason helped me and I explained that I might have insurance coverage through the claim but I wasn't sure. He said that's fine just in case let's get you covered for the day and then you get back to me the following day about keeping insurance or not. It was going to be $20 and change per day. On the 3rd day I got a call from a female representative explaining I needed to get covered. I lagged on my end so I just agreed to the insurance coverage. She said that I had to get 7 days of coverage or 4 day of coverage. I told her that I was told I can do daily insurance because I'm not sure how long I'll be in the rental- as it's through a claim. She agreed and said only the per day $20 insurance would be charged instead but that I would get calls from them daily regarding coverage. I said that's fine. The following day I call to put the coverage on for the day and I get in touch w Matt. I told him I wanted to pay for the day and right before I confirmed the charge w him, he said that he would just do a repeat charge of what was done yesterday which was $42 charged to the card. I stopped him right there and explained it was supposed to be for $20. (And this is what really irritates me) he proceeded to tell me that the $42 charge was for insurance and the rest of the deposit on the car that I didn't pay.... HUH?! I explained uh, on such and such day I checked out w Jason and did put the deposit as well as 1 day of insurance coverage. He then told me that Jason didn't explain something correctly...... I get Jason back in the phone and tell him exactly what just happened.. he puts me on hold and a few minutes later was able to explain exactly what happened. When the lady called me it was on the 3rd day so when she charged me for the day it automatically charged for the 2 days. Completely made sense after. Extremely disappointed in the lack of communication on that female representative (as she never explained the $40 charge only a $20 charge) as well as extremely disappointed in Matt. Seems like he's the type of employee to just say anything (including false statements) and also really disliked he would put down Jason when Jason was the only who took care of the whole situation. On my check in day I scored and got Jason again. He's super cool, and if I have to come again I definitely look forward to speaking w Jason regarding future rentals. I was in a complete bind after my accident, and I was stressing so much having to pay for daily insurance because I really couldn't afford it on my salary. Jason took care of it in the end. This is one of the worst experiences i have ever had in 40 years of business and personal travel. In fact it's probably the worst because I can't remember another time where I showed up with a confirmed reservation and was told to just go away because they don't have any cars And they were quite rude on top of it. I wasted my time with their customer service. They then booked me a car in Lancaster with a confirmed reservation but when I called them they said we don't have any cars. Now here I am in desperate need of a car with two confirmed reservations and nothing to drive. I was told the regional manager would call me very quickly to work on the problem; I never heard back. On my third call with customer service after my second useless reservation I was told the regional vice- president would call. The lazy jerk never did. Upper management obviously takes no responsibility at all which is probably why they're so screwed up and have such terrible employees. It's hard to believe that they can get away with confirming reservations on a car and this saying tough cookies when you go to pick it up This is some of the worst treatment I've ever had from a car rental agency and believe me that's saying a lot. Not only did they not honor their contract they were rude Quick update The car was booked 24 hours in advance sitting there with a confirmed reservation and they never even bothered to call to let me know there were no cars available.
