Bright, cheery, helpful attendants and counter staff are the standard not only at this location but seemingly ALL Enterprise locations. So, we are big fans of the Enterprise rental experience. As mentioned earlier, I've been renting from this particular location for years. And, what amazes me continually is how while the people change....the experience never does. The other day I met new intern Patrick Barry. True to form, Patrick was greeting me with a genuine "happy to be here" smile....complete knowledge of my reservation ...and a desire to get me into my rental car as quickly and on my way as fast as possible - all while being friendly, polite, and helpful. Once again, 3 month intern Patrick Barry reaffirmed my positive impression of the Enterprise car rental experience. Congrats to the Manchester location and its management for creating a culture of service that genuinely elevates the guest experience and teaches its newest hires the fine art of customer service. Continue that tradition and you will always have my business. Well done. Again.

Want to modify the drop-off location?? Hm..... hm..... that's a tough one. There's literally only two variabilities of a car rental. But.... hm..... maybe speak to someone in customer service. But hmm..... they'll have to get in touch with the Manchester location. But not on the phone. They'll need to message them. They'll call you back when they can. But hmm.... three separate calls and 5 hours later but still no call back. No way of reaching a human. Hmm.... so you want to change the location. Hmm... Yeah I don't know. That sounds too complicated. I don't know how to help you, sir.

    Although the agent at the counter was friendly & efficient, the rental car that we received was…read moreabsolutely disgusting. It wreaked of cigarette smoke and had burn holes in the seat. It had not been cleaned and there was dirt and grime all in the car. My 10 month old son was hungry and crying otherwise I would have had them give me a different car. I had to leave the windows down the entire week and when we returned the car is still smelled terribly. My poor baby had croup and was breathing in the disgusting cigarette smell. I am appalled and absolutely disgusted & I will not use Avis again. The fact that the rental car was as bad as it was shows me that they don't even check their cars and probably don't even clean them. The worst part is the car only had 13,000 miles so it was new and was already completely trashed. There were literally giant burn holes in all the seats! I was also charged an extra $100 on a card that I specifically told them I did not want to use and I'm not sure what the charge is even for. When I called to get this rectified the woman told me I had upgraded the car which was not true. I told her she wasn't even supposed to charge that car at all and she hung up on me.

At the Avis counter, the rep offered me the upgrade deal. She did a great job selling me on it too. What she didn't do was reference the hefty early pick up fee. I don't know whether you should promote her for her upsell skills or reprimand her for her lack of transparency. At no point did she mention that I was picking up early and would incur an additional $86 fee for the ONE HOUR infraction. Let's do the math. With your $86 hourly rate, I should have been charged in excess of $2000 a day to rent this bad boy. Yes, I get it...there is some sort of rate adjustment for a total day rental. But seriously, almost 20% of my total bill was for one hour of additional rental. This is absurd and nobody in their right mind would not have questioned this if there was full disclosure of the information in advance. To me, charging the additional fees to the card on file seems shady and underhanded and I would expect more from Avis. Hertz, here I come.

I've rented at the airport three times with this exact same card since February never an issue. It actually has a line of credit on it, but they told me when I went this time that they couldnt accept. Because I didn't have any plane tickets. The first three times I rented didn't have any plane tickets either. I ended up going down to the Hertz on South Willow and after going on their website to confirm that I could use this card website said nothing about not being able to use it Went down there and was told because it's the same day rental that I couldn't use this card again card is the same card on my Hertz profile that was saved as a credit card. I was told they were unable to charge these cards and couldn't use them, but they'd have to cancel my reservation. OK no problem that was on the fourth Around 8 PM on the sixth. A charge shows up as a pending charge for the exact price of my rental, which is 2 1/2 days later I immediately contacted customer service. They told me that it was just an authorization hold for the rental, which made no sense cause I never inserted my card to any machine. She asked me was it the same card on my profile and they were getting ready to charge it but then as soon as I pulled it out, she told me they couldn't accept it so my card was never inserted so how did they take money off of a card that they claim they can't accept and that they can't charge when I never inserted my card into a machine yet somehow they went onto my Hertz profile where this credit card is saved in charge the rental customer service told me it would just drop off course the next day it went from a pending to an actual charge. I contacted customer service again was told again it was just an authorization hold and I said well, even if that's true I never inserted my card and authorized any charges so how did you take money off the card that I never inserted into your machine for a rental because your rental agent would not rent to me and they now opened up some sort of investigation meanwhile, my money is still gone. I've rented at the airport to dollar thrifty budget and always use their rental booth but this time when I went, I was told it all went through Hertz and I had to go see them at the airport. I also like I said, went to the S. Willow St. location. The employees are completely untrained and completely. Shouldn't be taking money from people if they're denying their rentals I ended up going down to enterprise giving enterprise $1500 and getting a rental with the exact same credit card. I am still in the process of fighting with her trying to get my money back. I will never go there again after talking to a friend I was told the exact same thing happened to him and he never got his money back and he was never able to pick up the car so they are literally just stealing from people and looking for any reason to deny so they can take money for now I have told everybody I know not to use them and if my money is not returned in the five days, they told me it would take to do the investigation I'm filing a claim with a Better Business Bureau and fraudulent charges with my bank. If I could rate lower than a one star, I give it a -100.
