Another Enterprise that upholds their friendly fast and efficient service. Booked online the night before and called them in the morning for a pick up. If you read the reviews for other Jim Pattison locations, the salespeople are similar (or at least…read morethe one I talked to was, anyway). This was an extremely shady experience, even relative to the low expectations I have when talking to used car salespeople. We started off on a shady foot when I asked for the carfax report they claim to provide on all cars and they texted me the photo of a printout of an incomplete carfax report that was over a year old (the status of the report was "pending", if the report is complete the status will read "complete"). They salesman explained that the report was up to date because they'd had the car on the lot for a year and it hadn't been driven. That didn't explain why they wouldn't give me a complete report and, when I asked for an up to date and complete report, they told me they'd give me one when I bought the car and took delivery of it, which would defeat the purpose of looking at the carfax report before buying. It's also curious that they told me that the car had sat on the lot for a year without being driven because the car had 6000 km put on it since they bought the car and had it inspected at the dealership. If they'd told me that they were using it as a dealership loaner or one of the salesman was driving it, I wouldn't have objected to that, but saying that the car wasn't driven when you put 6000 km on it is a bald faced lie. 30 seconds into talking to a salesman, we have one obvious lie and multiple shady things (incomplete carfax report, unwillingness to run another one until after you buy the car). I won't bore you with what transpired during the rest of the discussion, but it was more of the same. Detectable lies mixed in with statements that would seem suspicious even when not surrounded by lies.

It was a trip watching him work. Our big sur van was perfect for the three of us , especially with the roof top sleeper. The layout was great, and the van performed perfectly. The fish fiesta paint job was over the top! Not only was the van rock solid, but so was the customer service. While I was waiting to drop off the van at the end of our trip, I listened to the boss deal with another customers problems. She totalled her van hitting an animal in the road and was stranded in the middle of the desert with her kid. Escape comped her a hotel room and car rental until they could connect her with a replacement van ;even though none of these problems were their fault. They had a chance to ding me with a surcharge for not refilling the gas upon return, and just charged me for the gas. Good luck having that happen with anyone else! It's great to see first hand just how far Escape will go to satisfy their customers. This is a great business, go travel!!,

The office is a little out of the way, but still accessible by public transit. Amazing customer service from Chris! He was incredibly friendly and helpful. In the office there is even a shelf of free stuff left behind by others, like soap, bear spray, and cleaning supplies, for convenience. The van itself is well thought out and easy to drive. There is a second battery in the back that runs a bright light near the cooking area and a fridge (although not so necessary in freezing weather). The only thing that I hope they change soon is that prices are all in USD. This is Canada. Please use our currency. All in all a great experience, and I would definitely use this company again next time I feel the itch for adventure!

So I went online and I reserved a car at a certain time. Before I left I got a call that said we do not have the car that you reserved the only vehicle we have is a pick up truck. I said I need a vehicle so I'll pick it up and trade it in when you get a car. So I paid for a cab to drive me from Fort Langley to downtown Langley. when I walked in, I said, I am the person that somebody spoke to and said you had a pick up truck on reserved for me. they gestured to the two people standing beside me and said they just rented the pick up. I said you called me and told me that you had a pick up truck for me hold it for the time that I had reserve the car for. The people behind the desk kept leaving the room and coming back. finally somebody came in the room and he said I have a card for you and started to what I thought was a car rental agreement. Before I sat down, I asked them if I bring the car back can I wait here for two hours for my sister to get off work and pick me up? they said sure and then I sat down. I noticed that the man wasn't doing anything anymore and I finally said are you getting a car? he said well you sat down so I thought you didn't want the car for two hours. I said that's not what I said. I said when I bring it back, can I sit here for two hours not can I sit here for two hours now before I rent a car. Instead of starting the process he began to argue with me about what I had said, and then I realize that they must all be stupid because they couldn't understand what I was trying to tell them. I eventually got an Uber to take me to Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I walked into enterprise and they were very welcoming. They said sure we have a car and started the process and within 20 minutes. I was driving off the lot in a BMW. Hertz is cheaper for a reason, but I'll pay extra for the ease and the friendliness and the accessibility of 10 cars I could choose from. Thanks Enterprise
