My car broke down in the evening of Friday December 25. Had it towed to the mechanic and visited the MacPherson location next day. They were able to find me a car and let me use it until my car is fixed even though that wasn't known because the mechanic was closed until January 2nd. My contact was Tessa who was very professional and helpful, all of it with a smile on her face. All other personnel was also shared their help and smiles. Horrible service. Rented a car through Expedia and paid in full 5 months before my trip. I arranged to pick the car up on 12pm on a Saturday. Expedia didn't tell me that this place closes at 12pm on Saturdays. I printed out the email and read it carefully before the trip but the closing time wasn't mentioned. Enterprise must have all my info but didn't email or text me to let me know that they close at noon. Got there at 12:15pm and the staff refused to give me the car I reserved citing that I was late and they already closed. If either Expedia or Enterprise had warned me about the 12pm closing time, I would've chosen a different rental location or company. My whole trip depended on having a rental car and that's why I made a reservation 5 month before. Arrgh. read more

This place is complete scam. They claim to have a working relationship with local body shops. They quoted the body shop I work with that they will only charge for 5 days on a rental that was given to me for 6 days. However, upon return, the "branch manager" claimed that the offer was given by one of her shop attendant and not herself and that she was not going to honor it, and that in fact she was going to charge me for 7 days instead because it was supposed to be a "calendar day" charge. I returned the freaken car at 8AM in the morning and they would be renting the car out to someone else for the rest of the day, effectively double charging for the car for the day. This branch is not honest. Complete scam. Do not rent from them. read more

Great service experience with excellent location and convenient return option. I made the reservation through the online booking and it only took me a few minute to finish the process. Another Enterprise that upholds their friendly fast and efficient service. Booked online the night before and called them in the morning for a pick up. Car was to be ready by 12pm, but they picked me up at 12:20pm. Good thing I wasn't in a rush. I got a Chevy Sonic which is small but all I needed Returning the car, was good and quick also. I had booked a rental for my parents online for pick up at this location. I had booked an intermediate size car for a certain rate and thank god I took a picture of the booking because when we arrived to pick it up they couldn't find it in the system. I was already annoyed because I was super hangry and I didn't have the patience to deal with this discrepancy. The two guys at the front desk that helped us out were awesome! Nick and Daniel - they were patient with me, they were calm and told me not to worry because they would find something for me. Unfortunately they didn't have a small car available for rental they only had a mini van (my dad preferred a 4 cylinder since it's not as gas-heavy) but we had to make do. I was honestly so distressed and irritated by the whole thing and they took care of us in less than 15 minutes. They matched the pricing I had originally booked for and walked my dad out to look at the van before finalizing. I usually book with Avis or Thrifty(Dollar) in Vancouver but this location is my new favourite. My bf has gotten courtesy cars here a few times while his car is in for repairs and they always treat him well. I would recommend this location to anyone in the neighbourhood or even if you're not and want good service this is the place to go! Their prices aren't bad, but sign up for promotions and deals because some seasons the prices are not too competitive. read more

I needed a car and Kirmac repair shop didn't have any more courtesy cars, so Kirmac called Enterprise Rent-A-Car and I was given a 2016 Kia Optima LX to use. It was my first time driving a Korean car and it felt like a rock solid car with a shockingly good interior fit and finish. In fact it was a horrible rental experience to shaking jumping brakes coming down from Merritt to Vancouver the mountain Coquihalla highway that left us driving in the runaway lane and anxious for our safety! Would not go to this location ever again! Port Coquitlam location has been great to since 2013. The people that work here talk back to you. They bark at each other. Feels like a bunch of jocks running the place. Charged me more when I brought car back without calling or notifying before hand. No leeway given. Every time my car is in for repairs I get a courtesy car from these guys. Fast efficient service, and they usually give me a choice of what kind of car I want as long as they have the availability which is great. They are relatively quick at the front desk and drop off is a breeze. When I picked up the car it was on empty so the guy told me I could just bring it back on empty. No issues - I usually rent from Avis or Dollar (Thrifty in Canada) because the rates are just so good but I would consider renting here if prices were more competitive based on service read more

I gave them 2 stars bc I did get a car. I came in a day early and asked to add a day to the week I had reserved and they got me in a car, eventually. But the car only had four seats so we came back the next day to trade for a five seater car. We were given a subcompact car and the baby car seat wouldn't fit and still allow someone in the front seat. At this point, my week that I had reserved had started and so they didn't have a compact car for me. They said they'd have more cars on Thursday so we came back then and they told us they still didn't have a compact car and lied and said our current car was compact ( we looked it up later, Toyota Yaris is subcompact) . But they offered a Nissan Maxima at a discount ( an upgrade). When I examined the car, I noted a lot of damage on the right side of the car. The guy said he noted the damage but apparently he didn't because then now they are claiming it was me!!! This location has terrible customer service and they say just bc you reserve online doesn't mean the car is actually there. Oh and the adapter/charger didn't work in the Nissan so we couldn't use the pump to blow up the air mattresses when we went camping. Update: I called the national number and they closed the case for damages. They said the damage was minor. So enterprise is fine. This location is not. read more

Absolute disgrace!!! Never again will I rent a car from Enterprise. I called on Friday afternoon to reserve a car for the next day. I also arranged to be picked up by them. Pick up was scheduled for 11am I gave them the address and I received an email confirmation. I had reserved a car so you would think the following day I would get a car and things would go smoothly. WRONG!!! At 1108am Saturday I called Enterprise as they had not arrived to pick me up. They told me they had no cars to rent me, they were sold out! So not only did I have no vehicle to rent they were not even going to call and let me know. When I asked if they were going to call me they said they had been calling too many people they hadn't gotten to me yet. How can you over reserve so many cars?! I called Budget and not only received amazing service the price to rent was much cheaper!!!! I will recommend to all friends and family to STAY AWAY FROM ENTERPRISE!!!!! read more
