When contacting them to rent a vehicle after being involved in an auto accident, it them over two hours to send someone to pick us up (only about 5 miles) and take us to get a rental car. The price was outrageous and we also had to make the 400 mile trip home without the use of navigation or music. read more

We were pleasantly surprised to hear we were upgraded when we picked up our rental. Hayden at Enterprise took care of everything! Comfort was a priority in the vehicle we rented. We were traveling 12 hours away for our daughter's college graduation and taking her 80+year old grandparents for the trip. The Jeep Grand Wagoner was perfect for this trip. The seats were very comfortable for all of our family. The seat coolers were especially nice. The ice chest in the counsel held our driver and passengers drinks for the road trip and kept them cold. The GPS screen was large and our Grandpa loved to see the map as we were driving along. The gas tank was large and we stopped 3 times only to fill up. Lots of charging ports in front and back. The seats were easy to adjust so everyone got in and out of the car relatively easy. There was a safety signal alert when changing lanes which was VERY helpful on the busy freeways. The side board to step up into the car was a plus! We reserved online and the car was ready on time. We were out of the Enterprise office in just 15 minutes. One thing we learned was that the spouse of the renter of the car is automatically an authorized driver so I didn't need to go in to show my license to be a driver on the policy. read more

Worst location to rent a car... made a reservation, called to confirm the day of pickup, to find out my 15 passenger van wasn't available, no other large SUV or 8 passenger alternatives. When I spoke to the manager to find out the reason, reservations aren't guaranteed he says; then why create a reservation system. His solution to the problem, drive over to Salina's or Seaside to pick up a vehicle from Gilroy. You kidding me! It was a good location until new management took over late last year! Avoid a headache and rent Hertz instead. read more

My only wish is to have more selection of full-size cars with reserved checkout after hours. For now, I'll take the Infiniti Q50 or Chrysler 300 upgrades with unlimited miles at $60-75 per day. Be sure to bring your own proof of vehicle insurance to cover liability in case of an accident. Also, take time to note any scratches or dents on the car before leaving the lot. Unless you have a Fastrak sensor, expect to receive a follow-up invoice for any bridge or express lane tolls (hopefully without additional processing fees). Otherwise, customer service is excellent and the facility is clean. read more

Just returned a rental last Sunday. Reserved a mid-size SUV through the National website at Enterprise. Very friendly welcome and efficient staff, no more than a 7-10 min process from check in to driving away with your car, main hurdle was our questions really apart from the very informative staff. Process was checkin, then wait for another person to show you cars and they walk you through documented damages so you can take a photo with your own records. Prior to the walk-through they already gave us an option to upgrade from a mid size SUV to a full-size SUV for only $20 more a day even though we didn't know it, we actually needed it and made our drive a lot more comfortable. It was from a Nissan Rouge to a Ford Expedition. It was an after hours return so as long as you park in front of the cameras, you should be good. It took them about 24-36 hours to process the return and main thing holding back the process was me unable to pick up their call to see if there were any issues. The very minor issue I found after the fact was despite booking through the website, my National rewards account wasn't added even though the rental agreement already said Emerald Club member which was an easy fix by customer service on the app by phone after providing the invoice number. The rental credit posted on the app soon after the phone call. I already got a rental booked here for an upcoming trip! Highly recommend this branch for your rental car needs! read more

Not impressed by their service AND they stole my $430 Maui Jim sunglasses (for certain!). Let's talk about how they stole my sunglasses first..in returning the car I was the very last customer for them that day. We looked over the outside of the car, he looked in the inside of the car. He failed to tell me my fan was in the backseat and didn't acknowledge my garage door opener. Whatever. My bad, too! The whole time I had the car, I had never used the sunglasses holder, but for some reason I made a stupid decision on the last day (knowing I'd clean the car out). So this move of putting my sunglasses in their wasn't careless, I had been intending not to throughout, in them mindfully used it that day. So as the last customer, I dropped the car off and checked out. I called the next morning 15 min after open and they said the car had already been cleaned and that I could come look in the pile of stuff for my things. I was certain my glasses were in the car and clearly identifiable, so I asked for them to please do a more thorough check. They came back and said they didn't have them. I got a call later, that they recovered my fan and garage door opener, but still no $430 sunglasses. When I went in later the two girls were professional, still denying finding any glasses. They told me they had been calling the person who rented the car and also assured me they did they did their due diligence in cleaning the car. They made me confided in their cleaning. They told me their cameras were the most up to date and they would review and call me back. They told me they get iPads all the time (which in hindsight is not the same as thieving a pair of sunglasses). I never heard back from anyone after "they reviewed the cameras". I never got a follow up, never heard a word back from them. They must have seen themselves on camera! My take on this, in the rarest moment we misplace our $400+ sunglasses. I had moved everything directly from one car to another and the glasses were never found on my end. But more importantly I know what I last did with my sunglasses that day. I took them off and left them in the sunglass holder. Also, the sunglasses and garage door opener were in the same from area that was obviously untouched. Anyways, beyond that they told me on the 3rd day they would charge $27 and they did. And two days later they must have received an update from my insurance so they charged another $100+ without reaching out and letting me know. I received a car that was beat up from head to toe, the engines hood wouldn't close and so there was a light, and the car mechanism sounded like they needed some tlc. In all my years with enterprise, never had an experience like this once. I felt nervous the entire time that any one of the previous scrapes or dings would come back as my responsibility. It was my worst experience yet. I'll take the responsibility on not doing a good job cleaning up the car, but this place has a thief working there and so you won't get the good human experience here. read more

Worst in customer service. When we were on the way to pick up our vehicle at the appt time. We were told it would be ready for three more hours. Then when e finally were able to puck up our car we have to wait another hour. The car was filthy on the inside. My expectations were low, especially with all the negative reviews. My first interaction was very disappointing. I was not impressed, bad customer service. I was in the waiting area, for almost 15 minutes, before I was acknowledged. I originally rated this establishment with one star. However, Danny turned my whole experience around. I was able to pick up my car, within 5 minutes. I was given a free upgrade because they didn't have the correct class of vehicle I reserved. Danny is friendly, personable, and helpful. Paid 300 + 415 for just a rental agreement, they later said that the rental was going to be just 50$ a day later on when it was time to pay it was 91$ , they completely switched up on me and I was very confused and felt gaslit to the max. He not only is extremely professional as well as knowledgable, but he for the first time in my Enterprise visiting history actually took the time to show me all the features of the vehicle - WHO DOES THAT??? Especially as busy as he is. With the Morgan Hill & Hollister locations shut down, he and his team is handling the holiday traffic for three areas but never once made me feel as if I wasn't being treated with the utmost care. Called the corporate number to reserve a car for same day pick up and was told they had availability and I was given a reservation. Later received a call from this branch saying that they were completely sold out and cars were not available until five days later. Can't tell if the problem is with this branch or corporate (or both), but they need to get their inventory tracking fixed. I don't fault them for not having cars, but I shouldn't be able to reserve a car if they don't actually have any available. Will not be using this a company at all for a good long while. read more

Worst service ever, our Insurance made a reservation for a vehicle, when we went to go pick up the vehicle, they gave us some ridiculous reason as to why they needed to charge us when it was fully covered by the Insurance, They only had one vehicle available, which was a premium vehicle, and in order to take it, they wanted to charge us more money, regardless of what it was this was fully covered by the insurance, and these people are trying to rip me off. If you gotta get a rental, avoid this place at all cost they'll try to rip you off if they can. read more

My insurance company told me, they'll be covering my rental vehicle enterprise. I contacted enterprise, I set up a date & time for a vehicle pick up. This branch had limited amount of vehicles. Keep in mind, I did book an appointment. I received a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander. I've noticed this vehicle had a high milage, a deep rip into the drivers floor, under a passengers seat there was a big rip in the floor & on the last day of using this vehicle. I found out, the passenger side vanity mirror is shattered. Prior to all of this. I did attempt to reach out Gilroy, ca enterprise. They didn't have any vehicles available. Then I contact San Jose, ca enterprise, since it's the biggest one & they didn't have any vehicles to rent. I was stuck with this poorly maintained vehicle. This was one of the most poorest vehicle, that I had ever rented in my entire life. I've always rented vehicles from Avis but this Enterprise, I'll never forget this rental experience & I'll never bring back my business to Enterprise. Not to mention, when I received this vehicle. i booked online at 1:30 pm picked up the car at around 2 or 2:30 got a truck. but then the trunk would not close. went back got another car at around 5 currently close to 6 and the car they gave me will not work. i called and the customer service guy hung up on me because i was getting irritated because all he was saying was i'm sorry we're here to help but was giving no support in finding help. i paid over $500 close to $600 for this car THAT WILL NOT EVEN WORK. i am beyond mad. and honestly pay extra and go somewhere else. read more
