I know that sounds trivial but there is nothing more annoying than being asked questions that seem kind of irrelevant in a loud busy bar. When a dispatcher asks me where the destination is it tells me that they are not prioritizing my call as the first come first serve that is fair. The drivers are always nice and have been very accommodating in situations where other cab companies are not. I can't speak to the rates from first hand experience but my customers say they are typical.

But starting last fall, Reuben and his business just "went off the air". We knew he was leaving the Aptos area and retiring to Merced. He told us he had purchased a home there and was looking forward to it. At some point last fall his phone continued to work and I could leave messages but he simply stopped communicating. We gave up after numerous tries and felt bad that Reuben wouldn't call us back or put on a recording thanking his good customers and saying he had retired and wasn't accepting any more requests for service.
